We recently had some major renovations done to our house and needed a place to bring our dog, Holly, during the day when my wife and I were at work. We remembered getting a flyer from Whitestone Doghouse during a Street Fair earlier this year that said they had Doggy Daycare & they opened at 7am! That was perfect for us! Cris and Mike could not have been mor accommodating and friendly! They took great care of Holly and after a few days, she would walk right in, tail wagging! Overall Customer Service: 5 Stars Phone: I called before going to check the place out. The owner answered, made a joke and that was it. I knew this was the place for me! If you don't understand his sense of humor, it's probably because you're having a bad day or you're just a miserable person whom doesn't like to laugh! In person visit: The next day my boyfriend and I came to check the facility out on our lunch break. We loved it, him and left a deposit. Drop Off: I cried like a baby because we were leaving our baby for 8 days. This was our first time being away from our baby since we got her (almost 3 years). We were greeted by the owner's daughter Omg what a flippn sweetheart! She was super sweet, friendly and personable like her dad! There was another lady there that was also sweet. My best friend picked our baby up. She told me how happy our baby was! We got home to a super happy and groomed baby! Not only did they take care of her for eight days, they also groomed her for free! They exceeded every hope and wish I had! They made this very paranoid helicopter mommy feel very safe. The first time I took my dog there was fine. Wasn't that happy with how they cut the hair at some areas. Think they could have done a much better job. They didn't clean her mouth or ears at all. When she came home she didn't eat for 2 days. You guys did something to bother her I know it. I took her to Petco to get groomed and she was totally fine and they did a much better job. Second time a relative of mine took my dog there with out asking me if I liked it or not. The cut wasn't the way I wanted it either. They don't ask. They just do. Ask me first like what the heck. When we went to go get the dog I was charged more than last time I was dumbfounded. They explained how she wouldn't sit still and was barking and crying the entire time. So she was a handful. No i do not take that as an excuse. You do not charge me extra if my dog is crying. What kind of people are you? I will not recommend this place to anybody. I wonder how you guys treat dogs when you have them overnight. read more

My good friend Rob has been bringing his dogs here to groom and to board when him & his family go on vacation. It's a cute shop located on a busy street. When we got there we were greeted directly by Rachel. Shes really nice and knows her dog stuff! She greeted Gizmo and told us we'd get a call when he was ready. We then ran some errands and grabbed some lunch when they called me. Since its Saturday, they do get busy so make sure you make an appointment. He looked so cute! And smelled great! Rachel and her dad did a great job! They are very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Next to the shop they have a play room and the kennels are located downstairs. They have a good deal of customers, so this means good services. Gizmo looked great and even got some treats and some goodies in one of their signature bags! Check out the pix! If I could give a 10 star rating I would . Also for the people leaving negative comments I don't see how you could have a bad experience here unless you are A. Un reasonable or B. Just stuck up . I recently adopted Kilo and for the life of me he looked like big foot with all that hair at the last minute I called to make an appointment based on their reviews , social network and they seemed just great at what they did . They decided to take me , thus my kilos first trip to queens . Rachel was super friendly and kind to my dog upon arrival . I was immediately greeted welcomed and that made me feel like Kilo would be in great hands . I'm a new dog Mommie so I sometimes get anxiety leaving him places or alone . Her partners were very helpful . I saw a collar I was red than came as a leash and they made an exception and sold me the collar . They have so much variety !! If I knew I would have brought a big canvas shopping bag !! So many treats and big dog beds for just 22 ?!?! I found out Kilo is a nipper lol along side being a brat at times but they were still gentle and showed him nothing but love and for that I am now a permanent customer read more
