I can't believe I have never written a review for All Dogs. I've been going to them since March…read more2022 when I had my sweet 11 year old beagle, Pepper. At her old age, we stopped going to parks b/c the energy was too much for her and her socialization dropped. She loved other dogs and loved to play but we couldn't find the right balance. At one point, the lack of socialization made her extra snappy with other dogs. I heard about All Dogs from another friend (Pepper's best friend's owners) and decided to give them a try. After meeting Francisco, Vanessa, and the team, I knew we found the right place. Their approach to socializing dogs was exactly what we were looking for. I was very nervous to leave Pepper there knowing how finicky she was but in those first few visits, she really came out of her shell. She was always so happy to go to All Dogs and her personality changed for the better. Sadly, Pepper passed away in Feb 2023 from a traumatic event and Francisco was very kind and supportive during that difficult time. I didn't think my husband and I would get another dog so soon but our foster to adopt, Lucy, was one of a kind. Lucy, a 2 year old, seems to lack social skills and may not have been socialized with other dogs. Given our amazing experience at All Dogs, we knew it was the right place to give Lucy a chance to flourish and be the best dog she could be. In the last month, we've also seen Lucy's personality change with other dogs. She's more curious in saying hello to new fur friends in the neighborhood and hopefully she's getting better at understanding various dog energies. A big thanks to Francisco and everyone at All Dogs for giving our fur babies an excellent environment. The staff is always attentive, friendly, and you can tell they really LOVE animals. Plus their Instagram page is always active, so you can watch your dog have a great time. They also have a pool, which is special because who doesn't love footage of doggies swimming happily!

She is one of the most dependable and nicest people I have had the pleasure to meet. She is also a kick ass dog walker/sitter! Long weekend? Short notice? Week long vacation? Farrah never once turned down a job in the three years she worked with us. She never missed a scheduled walk either. If anything came up she would find coverage for you. My wife and I never had to worry! She spoiled us beyond belief. Most importantly though, our dogs absolutely LOVE Farrah. We are moving away from Astoria, so we will need to find a new walker. We will never take for granted how amazing Farrah has been these last few years, as no dog walker could compare. She set the bar impossibly high. Thank you for everything Farrah! We will miss you and so will Franky and Charlie, more than you know!

It's extremely difficult for me and my family to leave our precious scottish fold home alone and even harder to trust someone with our apartment keys. Word of mouth and references (yelp basically) is the only feasable way to know for sure so I yelped away and found that Farrah was at the top of her game. One after another, people are happy with her so I said if I have no choice but to trust someone with my apartment keys and to take care of our little guy, she's definately the one. Basically if everyone loves her and uses her, its someone you can trust. Now what cat marbles said about her: As you all are well aware, a cat of my pedigree and breed (scottish fold) dares not venture to a boarding place for they are all incompetent and beneath me! With that said, Farrah was a darling who came and fed me twice a day for 3 days, and played with me with endearing love. I know this because my human masters showed me daily pics of me they received from Farrah showing me happy and playful. I yearn for her again and await the next family trip where she can watch me again in the comfort of my own environment...

Fantastic!! I have a (now) 6 month German Shepherd. I didn't do my investigation and got him from a…read morefriend of a friend who's dad breeds them in PA. When I got my pup (Ollie), he was a little scared of other dogs. He would bark at them and go crazy, he will also see certain people and go nuts as well. If you got into an elevator with me and him, he would bark at you. Not in an aggressive way, more like who are you give me love kinda of way. He also loved to pull and drag me or whoever walked him around. I had already trained him with potty training, but was concerned that his behavior kept getting worse. My neighbor also has a German Shepherd and her dog is insane. She can barely control him and he's also super aggressive. My fear was that Ollie would wind up like that and that I'd have to give him up because I wouldn't be able to control him). After reading a lot of reviews, I contacted Abcs of Dog Training, and spoke to Michael. I was interested in the three week training. Michael was very clear and honest from the start. Seemed to know what he was doing. He agreed to come pick up Ollie. While away, Michael sent me updates. He taught him commands and socialized Ollie. Now when I take him for walks, Ollie never barks at anyone, not even at other dogs. The only time when he barks is when we are inside the home and there's someone approaching the door from the outside. He walks great on the leash, and listens to me. You have to keep on practicing the commands (heel, sit, leave it, lay down, stay, drop it, measure walk, and a few more). I'm extremely grateful for Michael and his training. Training was a bit expensive but so worth it. Michael also offers the two week follow up and is there for any questions you may have before and after the process.
