The staff here are friendly and take time to walk through and explain the process. My dog was scared walking in at first, but after the haircut, she was much happier. She is so gentle fast and on time which I appreciated the most. I like that they don't cage up your dog and let them play right after they get their fresh cut while waiting to be picked up. I DO NOT recommend this place at all ! Look what they did to my baby - need I say more?! They nearly declawed my baby!! My dog couldn't walk for weekssss!!! When questioned, the groomer was strangely very nonchalant. Still charged full price! Did not offer to help with vet bills which I eventually incurred because again, my dog couldn't walk and the nail caught an infection, changed color, and nail was shifting and displaced from the nail bed. Groomer wanted no part of it or accountability for it. No remorse. Never an apology. No compassion. Nothing! Nothing! Nothing! Master Pups: I would not even pay you a single cent to have you disable my dog!!! And how dare you think that you should go unscathed while my dog suffered for many weeks!! This was a last-minute appointment and they still made time for me and my pup. I normally call in advance to make an appointment but I happened to have today off so I looked on Yelp for highly rated pet groomers. Because this is last minute, I understand if the groomer can't accomodate. After calling a handful of groomers and finding none of them were available this afternoon, I was about to give up but then I saw Master Pups and that they had a solid 5 stars on here. The person on the phone, Fanny, was very nice and said I could come in today. When I brought my dog in, a four-year-old Pekingese, we were met with such great customer service. Jessica and Fanny were so accommodating, understanding, patient, and kind. They really treated us like family, and it was our first time! The other abnormal thing about the day was that my dog had just been to the vet. So, I was taking a risk with bringing her to any strange place because she could be more snappy and crabby than usual. Jessica was so helpful during the whole process. It was very clear that she understands dogs and different breeds. Jessica was very honest and knowledgeable. She made us feel very comfortable and that we were in a safe space. It was easy for me to trust her with my pup. Jessica was so gentle and loving in handling my dog that I left with no worries. They're kind enough to also call you 15 minutes before your pet is ready for pick-up. When I picked up my dog, she was so happy and calm--not to mention all clean and beautiful. I was so relieved! Jessica said my dog had behaved wonderfully, and there were no issues at all. My pup got a haircut, nail trim, ear cleaning, and bath and the results are phenomenal. I was so happy to also see that my dog had warmed up to Jessica in only about two hours. It's like they were close friends. I highly highly recommend Jessica and this company. The groomer was the sweetest, very knowledgeable, and literally sat down with our dogs and talked to us about exactly how we wanted them groomed. My dogs loved her! They have a camera where you can see the back where they are doing the grooming, and it looks like they try not to crate them which is amazing. Colbie is very shy and did not look stressed AT ALL when we picked her up.
