3-Year Old Shih Tzu named Cairo

I've been using this groomer for 3 years now, my shih tzu got his very first haircut here! I really love the way they handle my pups hair and they always ask me multiple times if there's anything they can touch up before I leave. Not only does my dog always smell good when he leaves, they also dress him in cute bandanas that I can keep. Around 2 years ago there was a change of ownership and since then the service has been spot on; before the staff was a bit brusque but now when I walk-in they're always very welcoming. I noticed the prices for the wash/cut package that I always request also went down since the change in ownership. I honestly would recommend these groomers to anyone!

Excellent service, safe place for your dog and the most important they're super nice and friendly, my dog is a labradoodle 90lbs and he loved there! Good job guys

I just pick up my dog from being groomed. Mike. was gentle with our dog. Our dog had a dIY haircut and it was awful. So we brought him in for a full service fix up. He looks sooooo good and smells wonderful. They were gentle with our pup and in 2 hours he went from scruffy to beautiful. I will be coming back in the future. Thank you so much.

I have been a faithful customer since 2004 because they do excellent grooming and are gentle with my dogs. My current dog is always groomed beautifully. They follow Covid precautions and work by appointments only. They will bring your dog to the car too if you don't wish to come into the shop. Highly recommend them.

I took my Maltipoo here two days ago. And I sent them photos of what I wanted him to look like. Pictures of himself from previous haircuts. Which was nothing to demanding or difficult. Although I really did like how my dog and myself were treated (they were extremely nice) I am very displeased with how the haircut turned out.

I have been bringing my dog here for over a year now. For the first few times, they did a pretty good job. Staff was friendly and my dog was happy and came back looking great. However there have been many mishaps more recently since the management/ groomers have changed. Last time they cut my dogs nail a little too close. This was understandable as his nails are black and not the easiest to cut. I appreciated them telling me about this. However, the time after that they cut all his whiskers off and my poor pup was really sad/ disoriented for a few days. I'm not a groomer but I know you're definitely not supposed to cut a dogs whiskers off. This time I told them not to touch his whiskers which they didn't but shaved part of his ear off. The groomers here are poorly trained and don't know how to groom dogs. Not going back here.

Shaved one ear too short so matched it with the other ear! I call it happy ears! Never will go back

Upon pick up, she seemed fine and I was ecstatic that the groomers had given her a bandana for being "such a good girl". The rest of the evening went normal for her. It wasn't until the following morning where I noticed Skai was extremely lethargic. She refused treats, food, and water which is very unusual of her. It turns out she was quite distressed but I couldn't figure out what was wrong. It wasn't until I took off the bandana and her collar and she had winced as I got around to her neck. As she laid down, I finally noticed she'd gotten cut by her armpit and her neck as you can see in the video. What's most concerning is that the groomer did not inform me of the injuries at pick up. I understand that accidents can happen, especially with anxious or squirmy dogs. However, what's unacceptable is the lack of transparency and accountability. I expected to be told immediately, along with an explanation and a plan to address the situation. When I reached out, it upset me that the information under Skai was not accurate. I spoke to Sherry and she asked me what Skai's breed was, I said corgi-mix (we've already been going to them for the past year so how is that information not saved?) and she replied that she was under "beagle" and the service for the day was "deshedding" when it was much more than that. I did receive an apology, but the response felt dry and dismissive. Her response was: "I will yell at my groomers- I'm very upset and will have a team meeting with all of them tomorrow." While that might sound like taking action, it didn't feel professional or reassuring - more like shifting blame than truly taking responsibility. I hope the business takes this feedback seriously and improves how they handle incidents and communicate with clients moving forward.
