Let me start by saying, this place really should have 5 stars, buuuut every time we go in they don't have an adequate supply of cigars. However, they have the most amazing hand crafted spirits and drinks concoction's I've ever experienced. Always super friendly and clean. A nice vibe too. We went in this evening to have a night cap celebrating our 13th an anniversary. I ordered the "Bees knees" drink, and it's delicious. My husband isn't a drinker but the gal at the bar whipped him up a lavender Lemonade that was to die for. My husband bought a Flor something cigar, said it had a earthy flavor decent but they didn't have the one he was hoping for. We sat outback around the cozy fire pit and played with the distillery dogs while enjoying our night caps. Another women came out with water for us and another drink, I didn't ask for round 2 but the first one was so good that I accepted it. When checking out the lady at the bar said "second one was on me, since I didn't ask" which was a nice touch but we insisted on paying for the drink, since I drank it. Haha. Like to start with the staff who was very attentive and courteous for my entire visit. They were great and shouldn't change a thing. Decent margarita and appetizers. For $13, I would've hoped for more tequila. The Brussel Cesar was good, but I think I ate a majority of the dressing in one bite; not knowing I should have stirred it. The fries were good. Hands down a must visit if you're in town. The Big Cheese Hamburger will knock your socks off (best burger I've ever had) and the handmade Italian sodas are on point! Found this little gem while traveling through Kalispell Montana. We were looking for huckleberry liquor and read that they did tastings of their own distilled spirits. They distill everything themselves and you're able to try flights of four different types of spirits for $5. This review is for a visit I had at the end of May 2020. My crew and I had just flown into town and were looking for a quick bite before getting to work. Whitefish Handcrafted Spirit's 4.5 star rating, with a decent amount of reviews, was calling our names. The Place: It's a cozy, eclectic space with an amazing wood bar, super chill leather chairs, and a bunch of unique tables. The central bar insures great service. It's clean! The Vibe: The owners are super cool and they make the experience! They have a great story and like to share it. The Booze: Awesome! I had the Highline Rye Whiskey and it was great. Realize tho, their distillery is "new" by whiskey standards, so their whiskey is young, but awesome!! I can't remember what the boys had but they all said it was great. The Vittles: LEGIT! We all had burgers that were incredible. I had the Southwest something burger - I can't remember the name, but I know it had a chili in it and it was the most legit burger I've ever had. Layers! of flavor. We all left asking ourselves how in the hell did she make those burgers taste that good. The Service: Nobody can beat it. Flat out! Their personalities make the experience and you just can't say that about a lot of people. ABOVE AND BEYOND ... we were there just after restaurants started reopening after the COVID-19 shutdown, so the hours were really funky as business was slow. I forgot to grab my credit card at the end of our experience. Went back the next day only to find they were closed, and wouldn't be open again for a few days. I was bummed as I would be flying out prior to them being open again so I figured my credit card was a goner. 3 hours later Tom drives out to where I was working, AND HAND DELIVERED my credit card. I'm give my 3 stars because of unreliable hours. We've been coming to the Valley for about 20 years now. We enjoyed this new addition to the tune of 300.00 just in what we bought in their hand-crafted spirits... We are leaving tomorrow, and wanted to stock up even more.. Supposedly they were open? it's 5:30? My husband was waiting in the parking lot when the owner, employee? Drove up, unlocked the door, shut it in my husbands face, who only wanted to stock up even more to take home. Then wouldn't open it. Husband waited 10 minutes then left. Good job! read more

We stopped here after a trip to Whitefish for some drinks and snacks...we chose the Flower Child drink with the hibiscus vodka and the Mary Pickford drink! Both were delicious with the handcrafted spirits. We also shared a plate of nachos and the Caesar Brussel Sprouts, the chef worked in a 100 square foot kitchen and handmade everything- even the chips! She delivered both to our table and was great to chat with. The bartenders were super helpful with choosing a drink and very friendly and fun! Found this little place as we came into Glacier National Park. Really wonderful food. We shared the Hot Southern Mess, the Brussels Sprout Caesar, and the Red Flatbread. Had two ice teas - freshly made, The Flowerchild - think lavender lemonade with Huckleberry liqueur - and a Contraband Whiskey Sour. All spirits are made here from grain to bottle. This place is awesome! My fiancé and I are huge fans of distillery tasting wherever we go, this time we happened to be back to where I used to live, Kalispell, MT. The atmosphere inside was awesome, very rustic and neat, solid food menu to go along with tastings, and the spirits and cocktails they made were phenomenal and well-crafted, so why not a 5 star? The only reason I give this place a 4 instead of a 5 is because of what we experienced when we said we would like to buy some bottles to take home. After ordering bottles to take home (I believe we bought 3 bottles total), it took almost an hour for the bottles to be ready. I am not sure what was going on, we asked multiple times and they said they were sealing the bottles, it was very odd. Some people may say they were very busy, but when we ordered the bottles there were only 2 other people there, and even when we left there were 3 other tables sat. It was very odd and we never got an explanation for why 3 bottles to take home took almost an hour to get out to us, we almost left and said forget about the bottles but we had already paid our tab when we ordered them being that we thought it would be a short process. The bummer was that we couldn't even order another cocktail due to MT tasting room laws! I would definitely come back to this place and really enjoy their spirits, but maybe buy their bottles from a liquor store.. read more

Well, finally. THEY ARE OPEN. We saw the open sign and stopped in to get our three bottles refilled. That will hold us for a long time and we love their spirits. Nice establishment. Good decor.
