Huckleberry flavor! Must get. This place was so good we went back twice during our short trip here.

If you're in downtown Kalispell, Sweet Peaks Ice Cream is always a great place to stop by, especially on a hot summer day. The ice cream is consistently creamy and delicious, and the flavors are unique and refreshing. My personal favorites are the huckleberry and espresso- a perfect combo of fruity and rich! The best part? You can get a split flavor, so you don't have to choose just one! The staff here are always super welcoming and friendly, making the experience even better. The ambience is cozy and laid-back, with both indoor and outdoor seating available, which is perfect for enjoying your ice cream while soaking in the sunshine. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this gem. It's a great spot to treat yourself to a scoop (or two) of some seriously good ice cream. read more

Sweet Peaks Ice Cream - Huckleberry and Wild Blend Espresso ice cream - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Kalispell, Montana

We are big fans of Sweet Peaks! But when we came here after dinner at Bias Brewing, we were a bit unlucky. They were out of huckleberry sauce and huckleberry ice cream, and had very few flavors compared with our visit to their Whitefish location. The ice cream we did get was still great but summer in Montana is all about huckleberries, and we were disappointed not to find any here in the night we visited. read more

So we had been told by friends that we should be sure to try sweet peaks before we flew out of town! So there were 4 of us in our group and we had been in Eureka for a week helping build a church and were flying out in the afternoon. We all ordered the huckleberry shakes with whipped cream!! They were pretty and tasted amazing! We had parked a few blocks away and we had them done by the time we got to the car. The girls working were super friendly and the interior was really cute and colorful! There is plenty of seating if you'd like to enjoy your treat there. The other 6 in our group came a little after us and tried some of the other ice cream flavors! It was definitely a hit! read more

During our travels to Kalispell, we got to try Sweet Peaks Ice Cream for the first time. Absolutely delicious!! Creamy and tasty. They were founded in 2010 and are now only scooping in Montana. Their ice cream is hand crafted using Montana dairy and a selection of quality ingredients from the mountains West and beyond. It's a small shop with tables outside. Limited seating. When we got there, we had to wait for a while for them to open, even though they were supposed to be open. One of the staff was waiting as well since he didn't have a key to open upQuite a popular spot. Flavors we tried: Huckleberry Wüstner Honey Cinnamon Salty Caramel (MUST-TRY) Salt Lick Sundae (MUST-TRY) The Specialty flavors change. Homemade waffle cones. Vegan options. On this Friday night, many cars were cruising back and forth on Main Street. It can be noisy. Very small parking lot. read more

Amazing ice cream that I wish I could take home with me. Straight up one of the best ice cream shops I've been to ever, which is saying something given the amount of ice cream I consume on a weekly basis. I loved the unique flavors and how they got the creamy texture just right. We bought multiple pints to eat that night lol. If you're coming through town definitely give this spot a try. We tried two ice cream shops while visiting (on the same day no less) and Sweet Peaks left us wanting more. I wish they sold this in grocery stores. read more

Yum~ My partner really wanted ice cream and sorbet so when we entered, we were shocked to see almost all the specialty flavors were out. It was a busy and hot afternoon for this ice cream shop so we got a scoop of 'Going to the sun road' and another based on a location in the area. It was refreshing and I always can fit in some ice cream :3 My partner was not a fan of the sorbet so I got to eat majority of the ice cream. read more

Huckleberry ice cream for the win! Yes, it's a thing in Montana and it's a pretty damn good thing. Get huckleberry everything, especially huckleberry ice cream from Sweet Peaks Ice Cream. We of course had to try Sweet Peaks Ice Cream on our first night in Montana. We were happy to learn that the Kalispell shop was open later, which allowed us to try their famous ice cream. Located in downtown Kalispell, it's a welcoming spot with plenty of outdoor seating, including a rooftop area that's dog-friendly. Their other shops are located throughout Montana, and one in Spokane. I ordered a huckleberry and s'mores split scoop, which was great. I normally love s'mores, so had to try it while here, but it was totally blown out of the water by the huckleberry flavor. I mean, there's no really no need to get any other flavor besides huckleberry. You won't regret it. The ice cream had actual huckleberries in it and was the perfect consistency of cream and huckleberries. I only wish Sweet Peaks was closer to me; but hey, the nearest one in Spokane is another reason for some eastern Washington hiking adventures! Until we meet again, Montana, see ya in Spokane. read more

This place was so good that my husband and I immediately wanted to go back for more! We even plotted what we would get the following evening. While visiting fairfax we saw a line outside this place which piqued our interest. We waited and it didn't take too long. Know what you want by the time you get to the front though! Also, they don't give samples but I don't think you can go wrong. Great prices for a large scoop! Cash only! Very impressed. Will be back! read more

The employees that are/were on duty at 1615 on June 12, 2025, are the most rude and condescending public servants I've ever encountered. Immediately when I entered. There was no Hi, welcome to .... Or How can I help you? Maybe even, Oh, it's your first time. Here are some of our best sellers/customer favorites. When I stated, it was my first time visiting. They first said, "What?!" Then, they rolled their eyes, leaned against the back counter, slouching, and stared out the window, biting their lip. I'm not one to be nitpicking. Yet, I could not overlook the negative attitudes that gave the vibe of "Can you please hurry up so I can get back to TikTok?" I WALKED OUT WITHOUT MAKING A PURCHASE due to the employee's attitude. I do not spend my money where I am not treated as a human. I smiled and said, "Never mind, thank you." Then, I walked out. At this point, the employee's face appeared slightly shocked and confused. Best of luck to whom ever decides to make a purchase at the establishment. read more

Did that ice cream have cornbread in it??? I think it did... Yeah, I'm into it. Tasty treats...

Homemade ice cream at its best! Their flavors were limited, but everything that we tried was very, very good. They gave you a sample if you wanted to try it first before you actually purchased. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave advice on which flavors to try and provide plenty of napkins as it was hot and that ice cream was running everywhere. read more

Ahh, just seeing the name has me a little homesick. Probably the best place to grab some ice cream in all of Kalispell. They have some really interesting flavors (not your standard chocolate, strawberry, mint). I think they're all great! It can be a little busy, especially in summer when it's hot. Still, worth the visit. read more

Huckleberry lemonade sorbet was delicious and refreshing. Service was very friendly. They can run out of flavors as the day goes on. Quantity is a little on the smaller side, and when I ordered two scoops instead of one, it looked like the scoops were a little smaller than just ordering a single scoop on its own. Also tried the huckleberry ice cream and it was creamy and unique. I would definitely come back when in the Kalispell area. read more

Wish they had huckleberry when we went but the all the other flavors we tried were delicious!

The ice cream here is phenomenal! I had the Bear Scat ice cream -- chocolate with blackberries and nuts. Absolutely mouthwateringly delicious. It's beaten out Triple Scoop'd's chocolate peanut butter as my all time fav. My girls had the chocolate love (delicious), mint (yummy), and a caramel specialty flavor whose name escapes me (also really good but too sweet for my tastes). My one daughter for a sundae and the portion size was very generous. The service was also wonderful. We chatted with the girl who was working there all about hiking at Glacier. The place itself has a wonderful atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend! read more

By chance, we stumbled across Sweet Peaks after taking a walk around downtown Kalispell after dinner. There were so many creative flavors to choose from and we were compelled to select Montana flavors. I had a kids scoop size of the lemon ice cream with huckleberry jam. It was so perfect, creamy, fluffy, and the flavors were not too tart and also a bit of sweetness from the jam. I also tried the huckleberry ice cream which tasted a lot like blueberry to me. We learned later that many other establishments in the Glacier area proudly serve the ice cream from this local shop. read more
