I engaged this company for pest control services, but the issues were never resolved despite multiple service calls and repeated assurances that the problem would be addressed. During the final visits, the technician arrived, stated they would be attempting a new treatment method, and then departed within minutes without performing any observable service. The service agreement explicitly included an option to terminate if the customer was not satisfied with the results. After notifying the company that I was invoking this provision, they nevertheless proceeded to send the remaining balance on my account to collections. Avoid this company at all costs! I was a customer for nearly six years, using their general pest control services without issue--until they attempted a deceptive upsell for termite treatment. Without my knowledge or consent, they installed bait traps around my home. Shortly after, I was told I'd receive a "free termite inspection." The technician then showed me photos of the bait stations, claimed they showed termite activity, and tried to pressure me into purchasing a treatment plan. This tactic felt manipulative. In Central Texas, placing bait traps anywhere will attract termites--it's not proof of infestation, it's bait. Canceling my account was a nightmare. It took three separate attempts: - First attempt: I was offered a discount and two "free" treatments. I accepted, then tried to cancel again. - Second attempt: I was told I owed payment for the "free" treatments unless I completed two additional paid services--something never disclosed in writing or during the initial call. I was even threatened with collections if I didn't comply. I reluctantly paid for two more treatments just to move on. - Third attempt: I emailed a detailed cancellation request. They insisted I speak with a "Customer Advocate." When I called, the representative (Evonne) dismissed my concerns and hung up after curtly saying, "Fine, your account is closed." Bottom line: This company uses bait-and-switch tactics and makes it unnecessarily difficult to cancel. Their business practices are misleading and aggressive. They use door to door sales tactics and come by after 7pm regularly and consistently ignoring no soliciting signs. Management encourages their sales kids to ignore the no soliciting signs. I have told their management to stop coming to my house, respect the no soliciting sign, and if I ever wanted their services, I would call them. Intentionally solicits business even with clearly marked "No Soliciting" sign on the door. Woke up my napping toddler and spouse since the dog barked, the solicitor both knocked and rang the doorbell. When the solicitor was referred to the sign, they refused and were trespassed. They still tried even after being trespassed and thus had the door closed on them. The solicitor then left on some sort of electric scooter. What a garbage company to have people like this represent them. read more

Incompetent techs; couldn't eliminate 1 small ant hill after 3 attempts, probably because they misidentified the type of ant. Service people were worse; rude, promised a call back many times but never called. And they charged a cancellation fee despite their incompetence. As a lawyer, I'm certain that I would win in court but who has time to deal with nasty, incompetent people; better to put them behind me. read more

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. I was a customer for over 5 years. Last service call, the technician did considerable damage to the exterior of my house (I watched him). I sent pictures along with a complaint. No response. This was in September. I told them I was not going to pay for the service until someone contacted me to fix the damage. Crickets. No contact. I received a letter from a collection agency for the unpaid amount for the service call. I called White Knight and they said they couldn't do anything about it. I will be calling the Consumer Protection hotline to file a formal complaint. Only adding one star becasue I cannot add negative stars. read more

I should have looked at Yelp page before I called them. This company is horrible. Run the other way. This company came out for their initial service for ant problem. I got charged $100 for this. After a week, ants were back. So I contacted them and requested re-service. Then I didn't hear back from them for two weeks. Suddenly, I got a text saying they scheduled me a "quarterly service" so I texted them back and said I want to cancel their service and told them not to come to my house. The next day, they came anyway and charged me additional $129. So I called them what happened and the only thing the service rep told me is the contract I signed says they can come out any time and charge me for the service!!!!!! And she says the only way for me to cancel is to pay an additional $100!!!!!! So they charged me $100+$129+$100 for a service that didn't work (the first one) and the service I asked them not to come and I cancelled in writing, then another $100 for simply cancelling the service!!!! The last straw with this company was, yet again, a treatment appointment that no one showed up for and no notice about the no-show was provided. This has happened numerous times. It used to be a good company and I had been with them for years but, as it grew, it just became worse and worse over time. Today, I see it as just another grifter money-grubbing corporation, poorly managed by incompetent people; greed always starts from the top. The tech churn is remarkably high, due in part that White Knight Pest Control obviously is not paying employees well enough to retain them. I haven't had the same tech visit for a very long time, but the real evidence of poor management decisions was after treatment, an app pops up to rate the tech, and then asks for a tip! Overall, I'm a very generous tipper but I'm not going to tip anybody for simply showing up to do the job they were hired to do. And even then, some of those were also slackers, so perhaps they were promoted to the executive suite? Anyhow, after all these years I'm happy to be done with such a now-poorly run company. My first treatment by a competitor fixed more things in one visit than this company did in a year. Don't let the bugs bite! read more

Had a contract for inside and outside the home. I recently added a camera system to my home. The recent technician. Never tried to communicate with me. No phone call,knock on the door, email nothing. Put on the report went in backyard when he never did. With no communication to follow the agreement & treatment inside the home. I was still charged the full amount. After reviewing camera footage. You can see the technician also spraying pest control liquid right over my camera on my porch. I asked simply to just cancel my contract due to this event and was still charged for canceling as well as the full amount to spray pest control inside and outside my home. Extremely disappointed. but nothing I can do about billing until my year contract ends. First off, the salesman did not inform me that they would double bill me the first month - some sort of fine print about a 'sign up charge'. but my main beef is that I specifically requested that they do NOT random spray for general garden and yard pests. I have fruit trees - and the webworms are controlled by wasps. If these nests are high up on the eaves, I have no problem avoiding them. For the first several months the techs did as I asked - which is to focus entirely on cockroaches. That is it - all I am concerned with. I have an organic garden and love my butterflies. S0 - they are supposed to have 'notes' that inform the tech of this - but they do not read these notes, because in the last treatment the tech destroyed ALL my wasp nests and random sprayed about my fish pond. AND - I have called and been told a manager would be in touch with me - but that has never happened. I have never had a pest control company ignore me like this. read more

I have seen these guys fist hand. They are top notch in my book. Ok so here is what happened. The tech was setting one of those bait steaks, it has a sharp point on the end. Well he found a sprinkler line that was shallow near the house. I have seen companies try to wiggle out of less liability. A plumber was called into the scene the tech who hit the pipe turned off the water and kept doing his thing. Plumber showed up fixed it and white knight payed the bill no questions asked. The tech stayed until all we clear. I know that is how it should be but let me tell you, it's not....... how it always goes! these guys took responsibility and took care of the situation These days finding a company with integrity is hard to do. The sales agent approached me as I pulled up on my drive after a 3 hour drive and plane ride back from Mexico.... I was trying to get my family and luggage inside.... He stood in my garage clearly seeing the struggle to get in to the house, but at no point stopped his hard sell strategy, telling me that White Night was owned by him and his brother, that I had a black widow infestation and that the chemicals they use were superior to anyone else's. I repeatedly tried to get inside my house but he remained. In the end I signed just to get them gone. I was supposed to have a service the following day, no one turned up, I had to call a remind them of the promise they'd made, they came and did the same service any other provider might give, nothing different, if anything a bit rushed. As I'd signed for a year, a gave them the benefit of the doubt, but the next 2 services, which I have CCTV footage of were done including my neighbours house in under 10 minutes, so that's 2 houses in 10 minutes (my house alone sits on a half acre and the property is 2700sft) I decided that I wasn't getting the service I'd been mislead into signing up to, and not only that the sales agent and his brother do not own white night, and nor did I have a black widow infestation. I rang to cancel, I was offered to buy the rest of the term out for $50 but asked to speak to a manager as I felt that I'd been lied to from the start (100% confirmed I'd been lied to by the representative on the phone) and when I spoke with the manager he was aggressive and told me that they 100% condone the lying technique of their sales team. So it's ok for them to say that they own the business and scare people with false information about black widows etc. He told me that 50% was the best they could do to get me out of my obligation, when I'd already been offered a $50 buy out, which he said I'd lied about and that this would never happen, I requested he listened back to the call, but instead he said that I now had to pay the full price of $175 to get the service stopped.... I paid it in the end as I don't want these dishonest people anywhere near my property, and what's concerning is they absolutely from management down condone this dishonest behaviour.
