I went here because it had the best Yelp reviews of all the White Castles near me. I specifically wanted the 1921 Sliders because its the only thing White Castle has that doesnt make me shoot liquid shit out of my butt. Anyway, Google said they are open 24hrs. I checked their website just to make sure and it says 24 hours, as well. I got ordered in the drive thru and they said they stop serving 1921 sliders at 12am. I looked at the clock and it was 12:01. I asked if they could make a 1 minute exception and they said no because they turned the grill off at 12 because they close at 1. So their online hours are wrong. They also told me there are guys working on the ceiling in the kitchen.....So......if there are people doing construction inside that tiny-ass kitchen, how the fuck they serving any food at all? This White Castle has great service and food!! Each time I visit this location the employees are friendly and the drive thru is fast. They are accurate with your order and I have never had missing or incorrect items in my bag. My food is always fresh and hot! Another bonus is that they have a freestyle soda machine, so tons of choices! Love that you can get Diet Dr. Pepper! Not the best WC. You would be hard pressed to find a happy employee and it shows. Fries were horrible, too long out of the fryer or not long enough in the fryer. Bottom Line: Typically clean, good service, odd layout. Overview: This review will focus on not just one visit, but my experience over many years of ordering at this location, as well as include a little of my take on the history of this location. Food: My standard White Castle order is this: 3 Double or Single White Castle Cheeseburgers; extra pickle 1 French Fries (often with cheese) 1 Onion Rings (optional) In the many years I placed this order, there was only one occurrence of an error. That was due to the fact the cashier did not seem to want to be there that day and my order was not taken correctly. What a horrible day that was, actually. Atmosphere: As a general commentary on the new White Castle building, this is one of the newer White Castle locations. I hate it. I miss the old style White Castle where they had less restaurant seating and more grill area with a window where you could see the grilling taking place. There was not a drive through and the bathroom stall doors were hidden by a wall from the rest of the restaurant. The architecture of the restaurant was much more interesting, as well. Regarding this specific location, in order to minimize downtime, they began construction of the new restaurant and then demolished the old one. The old building sat on the corner of the plot of land they own. This new location sits back from the corner and it is more of a hassle for "order in" customers. Side Bonus #1: One big note about this location, they do have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. If you are technology-averse, you might want to avoid ordering in, but if you like options with your drink, you will love this machine. Side Bonus #2: In the evening, there is generally an older crowd that comes to dine in to get their late night (~9-10pm) fix of White Castles. It is an interesting crowd made up of them, as well as a notorious homeless person; I forget her first name (Cindy?). Summary: I don't have much to say about the food, specifically, because I do not venture away from the order I mentioned above. I think most folks know what White Castle hamburger is like or have heard about them. That said, if you are looking for a good virgin White Castle experience, this would be a good one to try. read more

Not only because of the movie "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle" but also because ever since i was a child, my mom would always buy the frozen white castle for my brother and i. I loved the frozen ones. something so simple as a thin slice of meat w/ cheese and grilled onions... drool When i finally made a trip to St. Louis for family, i made a point to go try it. it certainly met my expectation for tasting A LOT better than the frozen types but i think i might've over hyped it for myself. don't get me wrong, it was goood just not OMG good. i did end up ordering a couple extra to take on my plane ride home :D had to savor it some more. read more

Ok, so there's almost nothing a vegetarian can eat on this menu. Doesn't mean I still don't ADORE this place. I have fond memories of White Castles. Many of them foggy, mind you, but all fond. Sure, they make you a little sick, and sure, they are not as cheap as they used to be...but oh White Castle...I love you and your ability to soak a hangover so so much. First of all, what is that orange drink? It is delicious. I can't explain why this orange drink tastes so much better than every other orange drink I have ever had. Why oh why are you so much better? Also, can we talk about how delicious your new breakfast is? Ok, I have only had the french toast sticks. OH MY LORD they are crispy and greasy...so good. But guess what, they actually use REAL eggs. Not that gross powder stuff they use at places like McDonald's. It's so delicious. Finally, of course, the belly bombers. It has been a while since I partook in them, but I loved them so much when I used to. They really will soak up a hangover like no other. They reek of onion and the pickles perfectly compliment them. Oh, and lets not forget, these things are so iconic they have their own Thanksgiving stuffing designed around them. How many foods can say that? I ask you? I may stick with your onion rings, fries and orange drink these days, but I still have nothing but love for you White Castle. Nothing but love. read more

My first opinion on this fast food restaurant is the price I'm usually not a complainer about price but wow it's kind of crazy to pay that much for 2 tiny sandwiches.
