The original Bus Loop was located at the Wellston Bus Loop. The customer service was exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised with the young lady the took our orders. She was very nice. She went over and beyond to make our experience a great one. The food was delicious. You can dine inside. However, we chose to take it home. The sweet and spicy wings was delicious. I didn't know what I was expecting but I wasn't expecting anything much if I'm being honest. And it's solely because I don't like burgers so going here I didn't really come in with a good mind. I thought this was going to be another bad meal because most foods that I've had here weren't the best, but oh my days this was actually phenomenal. I don't want to gas this place up too much and at first the burger was kind of okay but when I ate the fries and wings... genuinely the tastes and texture just exploded in my mouth. The barbecue tested like good barbecue, there's no denying that. But the texture, it was just on another level it was so crispy and the chicken just ugh was amazing. Like I don't want to overhype this place but wow I genuinely liked it so much more than I thought. I usually don't like wings in fact I detest eating wings but this place is just genuinely so good like I cannot believe I actually really like their wings. Also being from out of state, I've had tried so many food places and their wings but oh my gosh these were genuinely the best. Next time I'm in this state I will absolutely go back here. It's also worth noting that I'm extremely picky in my choices of food and taste and I tend to just eat salads or chicken at most places but here, it's just wow! Got the chance to make it to Bus Loop Burgers and was pretty good. Visited on a Friday evening and was pretty steady. Located in a small strip mall just minutes from STL airport, Bus Loop Burger provides locals a fresh burger with all kinds of sides to include hot wings! Went with a double cheeseburger, fries and an order of hot wings. You can order as many toppings as you want, but beware, the sandwich is big. Fries were crispy and came with a similar seasoning to wingstop, which I'm not a fan. Burger was prepared as order but the bun didn't hold up. Hot wings were pretty good and sauce had some good kick. Absolutely amazing. No amount of words can fathom my satisfaction. The customer service, hospitality, and the food. Simply life changing. The food came out quick. And they don't skimp out!!!! 10/10 experience. I recommend the big bacon cheddar burger. Absolutely amazing. And don't get me started on the chicken wings. My little sister is the pickiest eater I know. Yet she absolutely DEVOURED those wings. Boy I feel duped! The reviews looked great! The photos looked great too! But this place is a 5 Guys wanna be that's not nearly as good as the large chain. Disappointed for sure. They offer one other location just outside Saint Louis. There was plenty of parking and the lot was clear of debris. You can park directly in front. Ordered the Big Bacon Cheddar Melt with fries and Oreo Shake. It's pricey, but things are lately. You can tip on the machine. The staff was meh, but still tipped 20%. The dining room was tidy enough with several tables. They offer two gender neutral restrooms, one was out of order. The one I used was fine, everything worked and had supplies. The order took over 30 minutes. There were two staff working which was light considering the brisk traffic. That is a 1 star deduction. This imo is fast food, not fast casual. In any event way too long! My burger was overly greasy, the fries overly seasoned. The shake was good, but a quarter of it had whip cream that could not move through a straw. The Texas Toast bread seemed fresh and held up surprisingly well considering the amount of grease. Overall food and drink fell below par for me. The burger was a major letdown. When combining the long wait for my order and the food my score falls below a 3. A two star review fits them best for this visit. The menu isn't super extensive, but what they do they appear to do well. They didn't have an option for a chicken sandwich, so I opted for a cheeseburger, which was great. Fries appear to be homemade - while they weren't overly crispy, they stood up fine when dipped in cheese sauce. Staff was super friendly, and bathrooms were really clean. I have passed by this place many times. Finally decided to check it out. I ordered the big bacon cheddar melt, which cost $12.19. It was definitely big and pretty good but unfortunately that price did not include my French fries. To turn it into a meal was an additional $7. I also wish that they'd cooked my grilled onions longer, as they were too crunchy to fit that category and it was like eating warmed up sliced onions instead. Fries were prettu good. I love the history and decor of the place, and the customer service was good. I can't justify paying $20 for a burger and fries again even in this economy. This was a totally random stop as I was driving cross-country on my way back from Omaha Nebraska and headed to Charlotte North Carolina. Ended up stopping here because I was craving a really good burger along the trip and used Yelp to find something still open. Boy am I happy I found this spot. A bit of a hole in the wall but I'm sure the locals know it well. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the young lady behind the register. It was late evening, so it looked like most of the people waiting were also grabbing to go orders. I actually relied on a couple of the recommendations on Yelp and went with the double burger with Bacon and cheese. I also added onion rings and a shake. This was my second time at Busloop. I stopped in here on my way to the Muny on a Friday evening. I had planned to grab a burger and fry and take it with me to eat. When I arrived there weren't many customers there. A couple tables, some already with food. I ordered a basic cheeseburger and fry. I appreciated that the employee gave me his opinions on the sides when I asked (what's better here - sweet potato or regular fry? He said regular hands down). There were 4 employees working but it was obvious that one of them REALLY knew what to do. He was busting his tail to work and also provide direction to the others. Everyone was actively working....but it still took almost 30 minutes for me to get my order. That's a long time for a burger and fry. They did have a lot of to-go orders, doordash, etc. going out the door.... but WOW. The food didn't disappoint - it was delicious. The fries were crispy and nicely seasoned and the bun on the burger was steamed perfect. The topping proportions were also great. I've seen some complaints in reviews about pricing - I got the burger and fry for $10ish. You can also upgrade your burger to a combo with a fry and drink for a lil discount. Overall this is going to be similar pricing to a Five Guys, Smashburger or other premium burger place. The quality is there though and they are locally owned which I support. I will definitely be back, hoping that the wait time is a bit lower. I did also see that you can order ahead online and that might be the way to go. read more

I have eaten at this establishment twice now and been impressed both times. I originally treated my mom, aunt and myself to lunch here. I got what was essentially a breakfast burger that was topped with bacon, egg, and hash brown and some jalapeño bacon jam. It was beyond delicious! This last visit was the bacon sourdough burger with a large onion ring. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch once again! The service was good and the food quality was very consistent. I will definitely return to sample more of the menu. I took a point away because they apparently offer more food items that don't show on the regular menu. I'm down to try more of what they offer. Nice storefront appearance in shopping mall. Staff are courteous and thanked me for my patronage. They even brought my food to my table. The tater tots are lightly peppered and I like that. Burger is flavorful and not greasy. (Lettuce, American Cheese, pickles, fried egg, grilled onions, and Mayo.) This is a winning combo. I have never come here and NOT received stellar customer service and delicious food. The burgers are generously sized and seasoned to perfection. Five guys has nothing on them. The food is cooked right in front of you after you order and served hot and fresh to you. The burgers are FRESH hand packed patties, nothing frozen.
