Patience is a virtue here, but they move with urgency. Food was ready in a pretty decent amount of time and everything was hot and fresh off the grill and fryer. Fries, crispy outside fluffy inside, add salt. Burger, juicy and seasoned well, add mustard. I ate that whole double Cheeseburger and originally I didn't think I could. They truly have delicious burgers, so good that I didn't get a picture. They are located inside of the River City Casino. It's a cool little causal spot. They have plenty of dining space for customers. I had a single patty burger with cheese and added a sautéed onions and it made it even better! The fries were delicious as well. The price point is pretty good. If you are there, it's definitely worth the try. read more

It's not what it used to be. If you came before COVID, you would know how amazing this burgers were. Burgers are not super terrible, but before they were amazing. The price is not worth it anymore. Wanted a milkshake and they couldn't make it. The place is fine if you won lots of money in the casino and you don't want to leave the place. Also just keep in mind that they will charge you $3 for a small cup when there is free drinks available right outside. He apologized and reassured me that is not their typical service to customers. For that I upgraded my review to 3 stars. The service here is crap, I felt like a criminal bothering the prison guard placing my order. The women had a death stare and never cracked a smile or said thank you. We arrived just as they opened. How can you mess up? Simple they just did not look nor did they want to work. So obvious. So after standing in the order line for about five minutes I called it off for myself. Since I was not alone I just said not hungry and sat at the empty table. Of course they were all empty since we were the first. Were we the first to get our food? Nope that honor went to the people after we ordered. It's ok. Small room. Small menu. Starts off reasonable but can end up spending over $15 for a burger and chips. There were seven of us so there was not a lot of room but luckily not too many other people in the room either. The burger was good and big enough to fill you up. The best part to me was the thinly sliced pickles and the bun. Got to have the pickles. They used to be so good. Now they are not. Now they are skinny like McD's burger but smashed down way over cooked. Very tough to chew. I heard another guy complaining he said he threw em' away(party of 4 people) and wanted his money back but they want the burger back to give him his money so I gave him my burger patty cause it was burnt n crispy . She said all their burgers come well done . I watch people get mad at that place as I set there and ate the fries .the fries was actually still good. OK for late-night eating, but would not spend the money if better was open. The counter only service was friendly, but wait time was sloowwwww. Burgers were thick and well cooked, but over $7 without cheese & $8 with. Other toppings are $.95 each. Onion rings were nothing special and I believe $2.95 for not a large serving. The fries were a nice size serving, but nothing special. They offer 2 types of shakes & change varieties daily. I had a chocolate & cherry mix that was pretty good, but IDK if worth $3.15 for 12 oz. This restaurant used to be really good. Now you overpay for an overdone piece of leather. You get mostly bun. We ordered two burgers with fries and onion rings. They called every number after us. We asked them where our food was and got excuse after excuse instead of admitting they missed our order. I don't like liars. I will never eat here again. The food sucks big time. Sad to rate this place so low but they've earned it. Their food and service used to be excellent. This time the service was brusk. They only have one flavor of shake at a time. Tonight's was Chai flavor. I get wanting to keep things interesting but would have preferred just chocolate since I was in the mood for a shake and don't have them that often. But here is the reason for the low rating, they really have one mission -burgers. They were dry. Just awful, certainly not worth the trip. And the topper, they forgot the cheese on my cheeseburger. Located inside River City Casino, Burger Brothers offers higher quality burgers fast, however that comes at a cost. The burgers here are expensive for what you get, the quality is good but I have had a better burger elsewhere. You can sit inside the casino or outside in the hotel hallway, the kitchen is actually split so if you have kids you can let them enjoy a burger and milkshake outside of the casino, then again not sure why people bring their kids to casinos to eat. The staff is friendly, food is decent but expensive, the atmosphere is very blah. More of a eat and go gamble again type of place, I have to admit people watching here is actually a highlight, some people really surprise me at any casino so its funny watching the variety of people that will stop in for a quick burger before heading back out to try to win their millions. We had dinner here on a Tuesday night. There was no line at all which was good but it took 15 minutes to get our food. At first that bothered me. I guess I'm used to fast food over good food. Once we received our order I forgot about the wait. The burger was extremely good and the fries were fresh. I would recommend the burger and fries. There were two reasons I'm not giving 5 stars. The first reason is we got the shake of the day and they are served in a small plastic cup with a lid. We were done with our shakes before we received our dinner. The second issue is the cashier asked us for a tip. We didn't have a waiter/waitress so I guess I was confused as to why I would tip someone for merely taking our order. Visited last night. It was okay. This is another venture into the build-a-better-burger places like Five Guys and Smash Burgers. Very small, maybe 5 tables, and almost hidden in it's location. Although...it looks like there is a bigger side that is actually inside the gaming room, we were on the outside "lobby" area of the casino. So the premise is they start with a basic burger and you can add your own toppings. Sides include fries and chips. They also have chili, milkshakes (one flavor per day), and desserts of some sort. It's very basic. You order at the window and they call out your name when your food is ready. There was a selection of toppings available from bacon to cheeses. Each is an additional fee. Fries come separate, and a regular order is enough for two people. I just had a cheeseburger. And again, it was okay. Not spectacular, not amazing, it was okay. The burgers are well done unless you specify otherwise, and I wasn't asked how I wanted my burger prepared. Normally I like my burgers medium, but even well done it was juicy, not dry. The standard toppings of lettuce (shredded), tomato, and onion are on each burger. Ketchup and mustard are on the tables. Mayo is offered in packets. Again, it's just okay in my opinion. I've had better, and worse. I will say it was quick, and by the time we got to Burger Brothers I was starved so I appreciated their speed. The website includes a menu, although there were additional options available at the restaurant. If I were at the casino and wanted a semi-cheap burger...I'd try it again. read more

It's okay for a late night spot. The first night I was feeling brave and ordered the Hot Dog (a foot long), Fries and a cup of Chilli. Big mistake late at night. This was easily a meal! Things have changed. A long time ago, I tried this place and I didn't like it - I found them them pretty expensive for a greasy standard burger. Recently, while staying overnight at River City Hotel, I gave it another try, and I'd have to say things have improved quite a bit. (I wonder if that's related to the improvements I've seen at the buffet lately, too.) I would definitely recommend the burgers and sides here, and I will come back. read more

There were good burgers here on a previous visit but tonight we were lined up for dessert and what could have been a bad experience ended up being great thanks to some exceptional customer service by Burger Brother James. It was late, they were slammed, and we were lined up waiting to order this ginormous ice cream sandwich we'd seen from afar but it was taking forever. Finally got to tell what we wanted to James who promptly ran off and disappeared. We waited a while but the baby sitter was waiting at home, we hadn't paid any money, and nobody else was saying boo to us so we decided to bolt. Five minutes and half the casino later James comes running up to us with our ice cream sandwich in a plastic bag, apologizing profusely for our wait and refusing payment for what had to be three or four pounds of ice cream and chocolate chip cookie. We waited an hour for 4 burgers and they did not even acknowledge us or the problem of being Soo far behind on orders. The least they could do is offer up a free beverage or just a simple sorry. The burger itself was fine, but since the bread they use is frozen make sure that it's actually cooked. My bottom bun was stone cold and really doughy. I took it up and got a new one with no problem. Another customer before us brought his burger back because he wanted it well done and it was very pink from what I could see if it. Great Food, Long wait for it. We arrived at 12:08 pm and our food finally was ready in 42 minutes. Apparently the cook left and they had to wait for another cook to show up.
