If I could give them zero stars I would. I come here often. Yesterday my drink was 6.50 for rail vodka. Today they charged me 8.50 for a single shot well vodka. Excuse was our price are increased due to our supplier. I will NEVER eat or drink here again. Boycott this dump read more

Great place to eat. My bff goes there more than I do. I need to take her so we can go together. I love the fries.

First time here. Great location and atmosphere. Loved the cocktails and the service was great.

Came in here on a very dead Tuesday. Absolutely nothing was happening anywhere downtown and you could tell whiskey bar kitchen hadn't had too many heads all night. It was nice and clean inside, and the workers were all pleasant and nice. I showed up around 9:20pm not realizing they and their kitchen closed at 10. I felt bad about ordering but they reassured me it was ok. I ordered the classic burger and waffle fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and had a fabulous char-broiled taste. Waffle fries were also hot and crispy. For a place about to close up shop, the vegetables on the burger were also nice and fresh. I was incredibly impressed and would return! read more

My husband & some of his co-workers tried the Whiskey Bar for the first time. My husband & I shared The Metro with Onion Rings & Tokyo Beef Bowl. We also shared the Buffalo chicken drip & waffle fries with Buffalo and bleu cheese. Buffalo Dip was amazing & waffle fries was a bit too spicy for my liking, but also really good. Hope to go back and try other dishes ! read more

Whiskey bar is a great place to get a burger. Usually the wait is pretty long so it's always a good idea to check in on the Yelp app before arriving to save some waiting time. It is also right next door to Metro where you can grab a beer while you wait. They have the best Caesar dressing I have ever tried and I'm not typically a fan of Caesar dressing! read more

Whiskey bar is a downtown staple. With a customizable burger menu + non burger options, it's a great place for friends and families. As the name states, it's a whiskey bar so there are tons of whiskeys to choose from + a full bar for other cocktails. My favorite drink is the Canadian mule and my favorite meal is the lava shrimp wrap. This place is consistently great. Servers and bartenders are friends and knowledgable. The shelving behind the bar is top tier craftsmanship. It can get busy and the wait can get long so I suggest reservations. read more

While I'm slightly jaded on asian fusion in a smaller city, I opted for a burger here. I ordered the sink which was pretty fantastic if you're looking for a flavorful burger. My only comment would be about the bun. I'm a huge fan of croissants and would think this would be the perfect pairing, but the lack of structure in a croissant left my hands all greasy. The sweet potato fries are a must and it's worth getting the citrus aioli to pair with! If you like your burger medium, just don't forget to ask! I was pleasantly surprised that they followed through. Service was great, no complaints. Ambiance has a bar-sports type feel which is great for casual outings. read more

Very good food. Always delicious. Even when busy, wait times are not all bad. I always try to go when downtown. Great place to eat

The food here is really good. I get the Sink Burger every time I go. The Death Valley Salsa (appetizer) is also really good. The salsa is a Pineapple-Habanero salsa. Put a little of this salsa on the Sink Burger and it's good. The service is also good. They dont have desserts however. For that, you will have to go next door to the coffee shop. read more

First time trying this place. Heard it was pretty good from friends. Got there about 2:30pm for lunch and was placed on the waitlist (about 45min) didn't have a problem with waiting but I did look sideways at the male host who seemed to take his job a little too serious. There are no seats out front for patrons to sit and wait and even when I asked to sit on their bench outside he rudely said no. I then looked at a menu that was taped to his stand and it was if I was bothering him just by looking at the menu...anyways once inside the waitress came to our table right away took our order. We definitely did not wait long for our drinks or food. Everything was so good. The atmosphere was loud and fun definitely the type of place to go if you want a good burger and drinks or just a fun spot if you want to have drinks with your friends. read more

I've been going to this place for 3 years and it's still probably my favorite restaurant in Augusta. This place is an American-Japanese fusion and is always packed with long wait times to get a table, for a good reason, Amazing food and atmosphere. The one dish I always get to go, that has me coming every once in a while is the "Katsu curry Rice". It's a pork cutlet with moderately spicy Japanese curry and rice. Honestly the quality of this dish is better than equivalents I've had around Atlanta with the katsu always being crisp and tender, and the curry being the best tasting curry I've had anywhere. Must try if you're in Augusta! read more

My go-to for a burger! And a fun night with friends or a chill date night. I love the bar and the vibe. And of course so many whiskey choices! The burgers are crave-able (my favorite is the Remedy) and other highlights include the buffalo chicken dip, waffle fries, sweet potato fries, and even katsu curry rice. They have a waitlist when it's busy and it usually moves pretty fast. While waiting, we grab drinks at their sister bar Metro Coffeehouse & Pub. The tab transfers over, so convenient! Favorite restaurant in Augusta. The burgers are so good and the appetizers are tasty as well.

The sink burger was supposedly very good. I got the teriyaki burger and was told it was not half as good as the sink burger. Customer service was great. Nice looking restaurant with lots of screens if you want to take in a game read more

The burger was half the size of the bun - as seen in the photo. The hostess was rude. The waiter tried his best but couldn't control that I had a long piece of hair cooked into the burger. This experience was less than desirable for our large group of 15 that was getting together to celebrate our end of course graduation. read more

Had this place bookmarked for years and never went. Decided to drop by lunch with my mom, Mr and I. Our Frenchie was able to come along as well. They have an outdoor patio so pets are welcome. I was impressed with their menu selection. Not too big but eclectic. Mexican, Japanese to American food. They also have a great beer selection. Especially craft beers on tap. It was hard to pick what I wanted for lunch. Everything looked so good (they have appetizers, salads, sandwiches, bowls and dessert). I opted for the Whiskey Burger added the ghost pepper cheese and had waffle fries. My mom got the Lava shrimp tacos, and my mr got the TCB burger-creamy peanut butter, honey, applewood smoked bacon and bananas on a croissant with sweet potatoes. Beers- we got the the wild leaf chance IPA, Vacanza key lime by wild leaf, Monday night drafty kilt, and creature comforts tropicali. Our meals was so delicious! Especially my burger. It was definitely spicy. I ordered a side of citrus aioli sauce for my waffle fries and it was the bomb! What a great experience! The service was excellent, food and beer was great. Went inside to use the restroom and loved the cozy laid back atmosphere. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu. read more

This visit started out as a plan to visit a different eatery, but this different eatery was closed for the entire week of Thanksgiving. This left my lady, her mom, I, and a 10-year-old French bulldog searching for a welcoming spot for all of us. What we found was Whiskey Bar (Kitchen)... And it was a GREAT find! The place itself looked really and laid back with lots of seating inside and out. Plus they allowed our dogs on their outdoor seating. Go inside to let a server know you're sitting outside so they know to come out to you. All the employees are super friendly and knowledgeable. Their menu was really unique, featuring a variety of culinary styles from American to Asian to Mexican and more. Plus they have a great beer selection on tap and in bottles and cans. My lady and I started out with a couple beers (Wild Leap Chance IPA and Wild Leap Venanza lime gose) while we perused the menu. So much of it looked REALLY good so it took a bit for us to decide. After a while, and another round of brews (Monday Night Drafty Kilt Scotch ale and Creature Comforts Tropicalia IPA), we settled on our lunch choices. My lady got a WB(K) burger topped with smoked ghost pepper cheese and a side of waffle fries. Her mom got a lava shrimp taco. I got the TCB burger (creamy peanut butter, honey, bananas, applewood and smoked bacon on a croissant bun) with sweet potato fries. This was legit one of the best and most unique burgers I've ever had. Everything just went together perfectly! The sweet potato fries were excellent too. We truly enjoyed every bite of everything! This lunch trip turned from disappointment to surprising satisfaction QUICKLY thanks to Whiskey Bar (Kitchen). It's definitely a place I'd visit again! read more

First off, popular place so make sure you get on their wait list, you'll be grateful you did. Now for the vibe: looks like a bar, meets industrial design, meets upscale biker joint (doubt that's a thing). Had the lemon pepper wings, very tasty and cooked perfectly (crunchy and tender). Also had the potstickers, which were very flavorful. Now for what they are really known for, the burgers. We had the devils peak burger. It was cooked just right, juicy and had just the right amount of spice. Since we love fries, we ordered waffle and sweet potato fries, both good. And the sweet potato fries come with several dipping options. The beer selection is generous with local, commercial beers alike. Definitely recommend coming and giving it a try. read more

So I definitely thought this place was going to be a lot better than it was. A Asian fusion twist of the food, was interesting but not that potent. My burger was really sloppy and hard to eat, and I only got a chicken burger. The chicken was too big for the bun, the cheese was like triple the chicken and a bit gross. We got buffalo chicken dip and it was barely room temperature. However I will say that it tasted good and had potential. I usually like to go with server recommendations on beers, and it hasn't failed me yet... until here. The grapefruit hefeweizen is terrible. It's like a Smirnoff Ice. There was also a chocolate porter she recommended that tasted more like a brown ale, minus the flavor. It's downtown, so there is street parking everywhere, or you can park on the street behind the building. Price: reasonable. Would I come here again? Probably not :/ the food was definitely a miss. read more

Food was very good and service was top notch. Menu was not the norm but very good. Glad we experienced a new place

I've frequented this establishment often... Never have my family and I been neglected the way we we're today. Cold fries, no refills and to top it off the HOSTESS AND SERVER was handing a customer's DOG... and did not wash their hands. They were observed handling menus and flatware without WASHING.... UNACCEPTABLE... manager unapologetic!#lostcuatomer read more

Happy to venture back out to Whiskey for another meal. This time we tried the sink burger with sweet potato fries and a Buffalo bleu burger and a side of maple chili sauce for the fries. The sink burger was great and my husband enjoyed his Buffalo bleu. Sink has so much on it, you're really not missing anything. The Buffalo bleu had a really tasty ranch on it. Their sweet potato fries are some of my favorites. Maple chili sauce was a good choice for the fries, I like the sweet and spicy mix with this type of fry. Weekend nights are super busy. We joined the waitlist before we left home and waited about 40 minutes after arriving as well. I suggest joining the waitlist just to have a spot in line if you go during a busy time. During our wait they had to start turning guests away. We had a prompt and nice server. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. Again, 2 meals with waters and a beer ran us about $30. Not a bad date night option or downtown bite to eat. read more
