Love me some Teeannah?!! I'm a fan of the Fuse truck on Sundays!!

Ambience. C+ Service. A Food. A Price. A My first time after decades... and I'm finally at the HighLander!!! Bar welcomes ALL! I'm experiencing great food and great pour of affordable drinks! (My heavy Tito soda is $7!i) They serve their own food but on sundays they have a Food truck FUSE! ( they use to be a restaurant downtown). Now in Aiken as Aiken Fuse! Love the fusion of made to order foods ... as simple as a brisket taco with moist flavorful beef and slaw and lime for $4! I'm a fan!!!

Came here as part of a pub run, and was thrilled to see that they had Summer Shandy on top - made me feel like I was somewhat home in Wisconsin :) The bar is in the basement of a building near the river, and has a dark and intimate pub feel to it. There is plenty of seating at the bar or at tables throughout the space. Service was pretty efficient for a barrage of runners entering without much notice. Bartender was super friendly and got all of us taken care of. Selection is nothing crazy to write home about, but a nice, casual place to grab a beer. They also have a nice outdoor patio up the stairs.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a cool bar on Friday night and searched for a Pub-style venue. We decided to give this place a try, even though it was about a 20 minute drive out of the way. As soon as we arrived, there was a group of people standing outside smoking. We continued through the cloud of secondhand smoke, and as we opened the front door, we saw a pile of vomit on the threshold. We turned around right then and there and got back on the highway. Very gross and disappointing. I wish I could have gotten more pictures, but it felt like people were watching us. It felt very 'clicky', like outsiders really weren't welcome at all.

Great drinks and friendly staff I still feel a little uncomfortable when coming cause we still get that "look" for those who know what I mean like why are you in here from the customers not the staff cause they greet you well and service is fast with a great variety of drinks. Found out they had my best of the best Ginger beer to go with my whiskey and happy hour here is good. this is a local hangout with nothing that I've seen but word of mouth to try here. Located about six blocks from SRP park you can walk here.

Don't do it. Ever. The place takes care of locals and regulars (a good thing) at the expense of the yall ain't from 'round here crowd. They had some sort of special food thing going. The staff didn't inform us. Instead we ordered the shepherd's pie and got one. Yeah. One with a burnt cheese topping. The insides were fine if you like peppered peppery pepper filling. I don't. This was like an episode of Cheers where nobody knows your name and the staff doesn't want your tips. Fortunately I had cash so I handed exact change and walked out. I hate stiffing bar and restaurant workers (and leaving bad Yelp reviews for that matter) but this visit was my worst of at least the last year.

This is the kind of places I like to go. Quick service, great draft beer and food. Came here first time and sat at the bar. Bartender Carol is awesome, quick and efficient. I will definitely come back to have more beers and try the rest of the menu. I had the drunk dog and finished it without even noticing.

    Scotch eggs are a must!

12 years of patronage and I've never not had a good time at The Highlander. It is full of character, and characters. Full bar and great English pub-style food. I highly recommend.

Simply love this place. The staff are attentive and make you feel at home. The food is great as well, and the drink prices are extremely reasonable and not pricey. Every night of the week there is something to do. From live music to trivia. Great place. Even on Sundays.

Guiness on draft. It's Irish but it's the closest your gonna get to a British drink on draft. Shame they don't have London Pride on draft.
    Paul F.

Guiness is always good here. Atmosphere is good also. Pretty authentic for a British pub need a few more English brews you can't get else where like London Pride.

Great classic bar and the only place I have seen Moosehead lager since being up north. Fast bartenders, good prices, and good music.

The restaurant is unique on the inside and gives a somewhat hole-in-the-wall bar vibe (but cleaner). During the day time, I would say it is family friendly, but at night it can definitely get rowdier so go at your own risk, it is called Whiskey Bar after all. The burgers are very good and are cooked very well with lots of options for customization. I always go for the classic WB(K) burger with Swiss cheese and pickles. The waffle fries are always so crisp and yummy. The same goes for the potstickers as an appetizer. Even their other burger combos that seem strange are actually pretty good if you are into that type of burger. The service is always pretty good. Friendly staff that was quick. Not a long wait on a Tuesday night, but have definitely waited before on a Friday or Saturday. They have a first come, first serve bar as well. The tables can be somewhat cramped depending on where you are sat and it is definitely not an accessible place as the entrance is crammed and all the tables are high tops on the inside, the outside is better with low top tables and benches. The Diet Coke was okay. A little syrupy so their ratio on the fountain soda machine must be a little off. Still good, but I have had better. Overall, one of the best burger restaurants in Augusta and most stop place in the area!

The service was absolutely top-notch, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was certainly very mellow. Our server, Cassandra, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the menu and made some great recommendations. Their menu is a southern American fusion for sure, putting unique spins on classic dishes. Here's what we had: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola (pork) -The drunken goat (Spanish cheese) -The red dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad The charcuterie board was very unique and delicious. Afterwards, my lady, and I split the beet salad, her dad had the pork loin, and her mom had the pot pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. After we finished, I met the owners, and told them how much we truly enjoyed it all. They were very appreciative of my compliments. We would certainly stop by here again.

I looked up steakhouses near the area on Yelp and Finch & Fifth had the best reviews. My fiancée and I looked at the menu and were sold. It was small and simple but all looked great. I made reservations for dinner on Black Friday. The inside and bar area is small, a bit dark yet inviting. Our server was Cassandra. Down to earth and very attentive. She told me that their menu changes. That's a good thing. It's always nice to try different meals. I would describe their menu- Southern American fusion. They serve appetizers, charcuterie boards, salads, entrees and dessert. They do have happy hour and specials. We ordered: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola -The drunken goat Spanish cheese -Red Dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad We started off with the charcuterie board and we all enjoyed it. The bacon jam went well with it. Then our entrees came out. My fiancée and I split the beet salad. So good! My dad demolished his plate. He really enjoyed his pork loin with the veggies. My mom raves about the duck pot pie. She's been telling her friends and family all about it. She had extra and took it home. We had a great experience that my fiancée wanted to meet the owner. Sarah was very sweet and nice to talk to. Everyone had a great time and loved the food! I can say we are fans and definitely coming back. Thanks for making our dining experience wonderful. Especially my parents, they hardly go out to eat and loved their meals.
