Since it was already about 10 AM since we were looking for something to eat late night of course.. i wasn't pleased of the service or the Ambiance firstly greeted and the lady took our order but I do not think she understood what we said we ordered two number twos one with other types of toppings one just with cheese my friend asked for grilled jalapeños she said grilled onions.. plus we had to tell her. Not twice not three times FOUR TIMES to help her get it right since she was confused and said regular buns but my friend said toasted buns not regular plus we had to wait 19 minutes just for. Our food to get here since they wanted to laugh and talk in the back about some competition look I think the manager needs to hire people who want to work if you don't wanna work just don't they got our order wrong too. They put everything on the burgers with of course real jalapeños but mine had everything on there except lettuce i wanted on it plus burgers looked dried and no flavor.. wouldn't recommend it unless your a dare devil. read more

The two stars are for the food. Always pretty good and consistent. The lack of more stars is for the lack of good service. I frequent this location a few times a month and have noticed new faces in the drive thru. Needless to say I miss the previous workers. The new girl working the drive thru in the a.m. on 12/16/ 25 is completely rude. She gave me dirty looks and acted like she was bothered to do her job. No friendly exchange of words ( thank you, have a good day, come back soon) non of that. Just a nasty expression on her face with dirty look in her eyes. I can spend my money somewhere else. I go to Whataburger at least once a month and one of my favorite burgers is the sweet and spicy bacon burger on Texas toast. If you've never tried it that way I recommend you do it the next time you visit. On the day that I visited this location it was after an event with some friends and the staff was quick and fun. It was about 11 PM at night and everyone had such a great attitude for it being late in the evening. I'll definitely be back. read more

At about 3:45 today, I took the kids for a treat, they wanted a chocolate milkshake and a vanilla milkshake. When I ordered in the drive-thru, the gentleman explained the machine for the chocolate shake wasn't functioning properly and offered a Mexican chocolate shake instead. I conveyed that to kiddo, but he's young and didn't quite understand. Hearing this chat, the gentleman said not to worry, he will find a way to make that chocolate milkshake happen. He heard kiddo upset in the back and this man hand mixed my baby a chocolate shake! Absolutely the sweetest! Being a Texan, I always love a whataburger meal. However, this whataburger is unlike those I have usually gone to. This humble whataburger houses a great atmosphere with an amazing mural on the roof and along the walls. Also, Donzel was probably the nicest employee ever. Right when I walked in, he greeted me and welcomed me with an awesome attitude. He was extremely nice and even gave me an extra gravy with it for free! I decided to bring my family here on my day off for lunch. It was by far the most atrocious visit I have ever had at any Whataburger. Not only where we not greeted upon arrival, but there was no one standing at the register to take our order when we entered. The cashier did not understand how to use the register so she had to call a manager three times during our order. The worst part was waiting over 20 minutes for our order with two toddlers antsy to get their food. After we finally got it, we realized that not only was it incorrect but we were missing items. When we tried to reconcile the situation, we were presented with no remorse and no apology by the staff. $40 down the drain and a horrible experience later, we gave up and left. If I could give it less then one star I would. It's horrible. The wait is always 30 min plus in store. In the drive thru they will make you wait 10 min just to place the orders. The manager is disrespectful. The reason why they cut breakfast off so early is because they don't have enough food made. We got to the speaker at 10:58 sat in the drive thru for 10 min at the speaker waiting to order. Then when we go to order he says they aren't serving breakfast. This is the best Whataburger in town. I live in Garland and the Whataburger's over here are terrible. This one at this location is so good. Taste like the way Whataburger should taste like, fresh, tasty and old fashioned like it's supposed to be. Management and the employees are on top of their game here. Also the service is great. Spent 37 minutes waiting in drive through, only 3 cars ahead of me. The chicken bites are so over cooked they are hard and inedible. I asked for honey butter dipping sauce, got a container of nasty bbq sauce. Texas toast turned into paper thin bread not toasted. No ice in the iced tea.
