Walked in tonight and ordered some food. Now I worked in the food service industry. I've been there. Not too keen on people coming in right before closing time, but I'm grown. No one put a gun to my head and made me take the job. But whoever the woman is that works the night shift, with buzzcut, needs to fix her attitude. I am not the reason that you have the job you do, nor should I be treated like it. Because you don't like your position, does not mean you get to spread your negativity all around and quite frankly, be an angry heathen to any customer. Me and my family (5 total people) walked in at 5:45 PM and the employee on the grill with black short hair made a visibly upset face at us before we even had a chance to walk up to the POS. When we did and she was still busy on the grill, she said in an annoyed tone "I'll get to you eventually". We had not called to her or interacted with her at all before she said that. The store was empty and there were no people eating in the restaurant at all. We left immediately after that interaction. The food was really good. The small burger is enough of you not starving. The manager was MIA in the store. One person was all that was working the counter. The inside was nice. One issue we had was two of the doors that by law should be open were locked. Told the manager and a she did not care. If they had had an emergency two doors were unable to be opened from the outside. Looks like they may need some training on this issue and a visit from the Rockwall Fire Marshall. read more

OMG have the prices gone up!!! My son and I got 2 little cheeseburgers, one order of fries and two milkshakes... $40! We won't be doing this very often in the foreseeable future, but the food was really good, Cajun fries were awesome! The milkshakes were not worth the $6 price for the size. The burger was alright, but the cajun fries were dry and left a lot to be desired. The prices are expensive, 8.49 for a little cheese burger, and the total for 2 little cheeseburgers and a fry was nearly $30. In-and-out down the road can do the same for less than half the price. The staff was friendly during ordering, and they got the order right. However, the kitchen staff was unable to read the ticket and mixed and matched ingredients between the two burgers. God knows how someone can mess up looking at a piece of paper and putting ingredients on a bun, but I could see this being a real annoyance to some people. Ultimately, I won't be dining here for a while. It's unfortunate, but the business was empty during dinner time on a Saturday, so something is seriously wrong when other places have 20+ cars lined up on a drive-thru. read more

For a Total of $34.16 So far so good! But that's where it ENDS ... my hamburger had MAYO on it My husbands bacon cheese burger was fine. So my husband took my hamburger in to tell them My burger was wrong I said No Mayo like the ticket said. I realized I would just have my husband come back to table (we were sitting outside) as I would Wait while mine was being remade so he could eat his while it was hot. I told another guy that I was waiting on the burger getting remade that my husband came and told them about. The other guy was not happy I could tell, This other guy than brings me a Cheeseburger, I had watch them make and than realized they We're making for me I told the guy that this STILL IS NOT RIGHT ! I ordered a Hamburger all the way no MAYO! Hamburger as in no cheese no mayo! This guy than starts to argue saying that that is what we ordered that was what my husband told him to remake with the ticket off the sack in his hand and me pointing out the Bacon cheese burger was my husbands I had the Hamburger just didn't want Mayo! I asked for the manger he said the order taker was but I don't think so Because when I asked for his name he said he could NOT give me his name... really for a so called Manager? I work in healthcare and wanted to take time to appreciate how the staff working at 6:15pm on November 18th handled my order and food. The gentleman at the register put on a new glove to hand my my straw and lid, stayed behind the plexiglass and worked fast to get my meal out- all with a great attitude and dropped fresh fries. I ordered the double cheeseburger with a ton of condiments on it and an order of fries. $14 bucks later I was ready to smash....I only have two complaints my fries were heavily salted(for my taste buds) and the meal was expensive. I had a rough experience here a few months ago. Unfortunately, it was bad enough that I won't be back. First thing when we walked in the floor was greasy. It was very slick and I almost slipped while walking several times during my visit. There was a terrible smell coming from the restroom. We had to change tables because it was so bad. I understand that things happen in restrooms that don't smell good, but there are ways to keep it clean to reduce that smell. The guy calling out numbers wasn't very loud and mumbled a little, so customers could t hear their numbers being called above the sound of the music. Hands down the best flavored Burgers & Fries around, great hangover meal! Went for lunch today (no hangover). We each ordered a Jr Cheeseburger and each had small fries and regular size drink and the grand total for that was 29.17 To me...that's not a good value no matter how good the HAMBURGER was (Jr Burger at that). The place was spotlessly clean, the staff was super friendly but we did notice at 12:07 pm on a Friday we were only two customers in the place, by the time we left there were about 5 total customers eating lunch. Now you see, I pretty much fell in love with Five Guys Burgers and Fries from the very first bite I've ever had. I don't know what category of burgers would they fall under because it's not necessarily fast food nor is it a sit down restaurant. Regardless, it is a pretty dang solid burger. I get the same burger of my choice every time and it never disappoints. I usually get the bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions. It's a solid burger although, I would prefer Swiss cheese over American and wished that this location had grilled mushrooms in their toppings. I usually don't get fries unless I'm very hungry but Five Guys' fries are one of the best. Good cut, taste and quality. The staff will sometimes give you some "bagglers" (fries that are at the bottom of your bag). However, the price for a solid meal here is pretty pricey. We're disappointed. Our family of 4 visited Five Guys for a 7:30 dinner. Upon walking in, it was hot and stuffy ~ the temp outside was 78 degrees. We opted to eat outside, but when we went out, 2 of the 4 tables were occupied and the other two were dirty. There were masks on the ground a some trash. I walked back in and asked about the tables. When we went back out, one table was not wiped down, the other was, but the mask and trash were still obviously on the ground next to the tables. We ordered 4 meals. 2 of the 4 fries were in the bag in addition to the equivalent amount of fries dumped in the bag without containers. The food was good, yes; however, it's hard to believe that we paid $66 (2 littles and 2 regulars) for essentially a fast food meal. As we left, the outside trash can was overflowing. There were at least 6 employees and the place was only about 1/3 full. This place would be best as a drive thru ~ the environment doesn't warrant such a high bill for the food. read more

The first few times I ate here I was impressed. Great ingredients, lots of condiment choices, wonderful french fries, friendly and efficient staff, what's not to like? But today I went and order a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink and when I looked down and saw my total was $16+, I was sure there must have been a mistake. A quick glance at the menu showed the total to be correct (including $4+ for a regular order of fries!). I guess that soured me for the whole meal as I kept thinking that it doesn't cost that much to eat at OSK or Maple & Motor, what am I doing here (other than it was close by)? I stopped in to give it a try. 12:30 lunch time and no one was there, I got a front parking spot. Being new I was not real sure of what to order. The nice guy behind the counter guided me. I was very surprised that no one else was here. I paid $14.00 for a cheeseburger, fries and drink. It took about 20 minutes to get the food. Extremely noisy inside with music blaring away, too loud to hear for your order. AFTER all the hoopla about Five Guys I can honestly say "well I tried it, it was just okay- not worth the price".
