Where's the 'cotton candy'? Halfway through and we still can't find it.
    Kassie M.

Just left here and am very disappointed in the service. The girl taking our order lacks the common courtesy of a please/thank you or even a smile upon seeing her at the window. I ordered a mini cotton candy blizzard, mini Oreo and small hot fudge sundae. The later two items had an abundance of fudge or Oreo and I'm guessing they were over compensating for the lack of flavor in the former: cotton candy. I'm not one to write a negative review on a first offense...I do feel like I've given the Rockwall DQ too many chances to make it right - pun intended!

Dairy Queen went above and beyond for our sons birthday! They made him this awesome cake with last minute notice. Definitely went above and beyond!

The food is always good. I always use the drive through, so I can't speak for the experience inside.

Slowest effing place on the planet. Hope you have 30 min to wait in the drive thru to get your order. I'd rather go to Braums.

I wish more places would use these, but perhaps I'm in the minority and people prefer the sterile coldness of cool white LEDs. Also, the food tastes pretty good. Sure, it's full of all the ingredients the other fast-food places use, like all the preservatives, seed oils, and other flavor enhancers, but it tastes pretty good. The problem for me, though, and it's a big one I've noticed at other places as well: the food tastes like artificial fragrance. At least the bun on the burger did. So it makes me think they are storing the buns in an area with fragrance (air freshener of some sort), or the plastic container the buns are stored in was stored in a room with an air freshener. It's pretty nasty to bite into a burger and taste a chemically crafted bouquet of flowers. I managed to remove the outer layer of both buns, and that got rid of the fragrance and made the burger edible. So, my suggestion for Culver's, and any food business, is to get rid of the stinking artificial fragrance. It's nasty, it's toxic, it tastes terrible, and it sticks to everything, especially plastic and anything that plastic touches. The sad part is, most people live their lives surrounded by fragrance, they can't even taste it when it's in and on their food.

In other words, I paid for the largest size but received what appears to be the smaller portion instead. I shared this experience with a few people afterward, and it seems this may not be an isolated incident. I've also had previous experiences where I had to ask for a proper fill because the serving looked noticeably short. I genuinely love the ice cream, so this review isn't about the product itself. My concern is with the consistency at this particular location. It seems to be staffed primarily by younger employees, and the portion sizes vary significantly depending on who is serving. Customers shouldn't have to wonder whether they're receiving the size they paid for. I hope management takes this feedback seriously by providing better training and oversight. The brand deserves consistent service, and customers deserve to receive exactly what they paid for.
