My very first time at one of these restaurants and I am a big fan. What a great burger. Nothing like something tasting so fresh. This was my friend and I's first time at a Five Guys burger joint. They weren't that busy, so that was a good thing. The cashier lady was nice and seemed informed about their products. However, she could differentiate the Five Guys Style fries and the Cajun Style fries. She said she had only been working there for 3 weeks. That's enough time to try out you company's product, don't you think? We were really hoping to know the difference. This place had an open kitchen feeling, with the rill, fryer, etc. in plain view. It didn't bother us. The burgers were pretty good! They let us choose whatever toppings we'd like for free. The fries here were also amazing (Five Guys Style). We got one overwhelming large size that we could not finish! We enjoyed the food and service. Good job Five Guys, we'll be back! Also, they have unlimited free peanuts!! read more

The burgers and fries are definitely fresh though sometimes the patties are lacking in flavor. They are a little up and down for me. Sometimes they are really tasty and sometimes they are meh, just okay. I do not like that everything is a la carte. I do like the free peanuts! This is the 3rd time they can't get my order right. When I pay over 50.00 dollars for food and they can't get my order right is getting old. I shouldn't have to open my food before I leave the store to check it but I guess that's what I got to do from now on. This occurred 2-20-21 and my order was number 46. I love five guys but this location did not meet up to the standard. The buns were not toasted enough so my burger was a soggy mess of butter and condiments. I asked for mayo and mustard but got mayo and ketchup. I tried to suffer through it rather than complain but the ketchup, mayo, butter infused soggy mess was just not enjoyable so I ate half of it and threw it away. The fries were no better, just warm soggy fried potatoes. read more

Arrived at 9:15pm a little late as they close at 10pm. First thing I was told before being greeted was "we close in 15 minutes I was about to call so you would be here in time". As a previous food industry employee this customer service is not where it should be. Great food! I understand the sense of urgency, however it was very unprofessional to tell me they were shutting everything down and about to clean the grills as they still had 40 min left. I will say this was all said by 1 employee who was also wearing AirPods everyone else was fabulous. Don't let one bad apple ruin the bunch! read more

This was like eating in a school cafeteria. It had a lunchroom feel, very tiley. you get your own condiments and drinks. I had a hot dog, it was sliced lengthwise on a bun wrapped in foil. What? I liked the french fries. Points to the manager for coming around and introducing herself. read more

Went to Five Guys today and was greatly disappointed. We ordered burgers with a lettuce wrap. I could barely eat mine as the lettuce did not cover the burger at all. I had to use the foil wrap to make it manageable. My wife had to ask for extra lettuce so she could eat hers. The burger was tasty as usual but nearly impossible to eat. Staff was friendly and helpful. All the floors were very dirty, two kids were sitting towards the back of the dining area and had dumped food, catsup and fries all over the floor(they were children of one of the employees). The employee eventually came out and cleaned up their mess. Tables were also dirty I had to ask for ours to be cleaned. It was not busy at all maybe 8-10 orders including ours the whole time we were there. The men's bathroom was a disgrace. Overflowing trash and the urinal was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. It did not flush correctly(only put out about 2 ounces of water per flush). The urinal was filthy it actually had what looked like brown sludge all around the metal grate at the bottom. It obviously had not worked or been cleaned properly for a long time. I will not eat here again until management starts taking cleanliness more seriously. read more

The burgers and fries here are awesome! I believe that their burgers are never frozen and that adds a lot to their taste. Their fries are like boardwalk fries, thick and brown. The service is pretty good 4/5 Their food is 3.5 / 5 (and overall rating as well) Their hotdogs are good too! (3.5 / 5) This is not a 'healthy' meal, but it sure tastes good. You can eat peanuts while you're waiting as well for free! Junk food at its finest! I will return to this joint! read more

Best burger in Rockwall? From a chain? I used to love Whataburger, but the service at the one in Rockwall is so bad, I stopeed going years ago. In-N-Out was a disappointment, too. Slow and way overhyped dry burger. Burger Island in Rockwall can't compare to the one in Rowlett. And the rest. Sigh... However, I think Five Guys is pretty dang good. Juicy, good fries (fresh cut), and the service moves pretty quickly. Order a burger and ALL the toppings EVERYONE else charges an arm and a leg for at other places are included in the price. It's now my first choice if I want a really good burger. Only bad thing is the parking, alas that's the trouble at all the places along I-30 it seems. read more

Worst burger ever ! We came here a couple of times a week when they first opened and burgers/fries were amazing. Fries are still good, but the burger is TOTALLY different now. It is now a larger bun, a very cold bun (not warm and toasty like it used to be) and less meat. The buns are just horrible and the meat is nonexistent if you get a single patty. 2 horrible burgers 1 order of fries and 1 coke - $19.34. Ordered the smallest bacon cheeseburger, the smallest fries, and the smallest drink, 12 dollars and some change. Are yall kidding me with that? Guess next time I'll spend the same amount for the largest combo at fuddruckers. Yelp has only one dollar sign next to this restaurant, that should be Taco Bell prices. Enough about price though, bacon was over cooked, almost burned, you can only get your burger well done at five guys, so if it's overdone, you're "sol". My husband brought home burgers tonight and although it wasn't bad I probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. I think that In-N-Out Burger is better plus it's cheaper. I ordered the hamburger with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, jalapeños, and mustard. I didn't realize that it came with 2 pieces of meat otherwise I would have ordered a "little" hamburger. The burger he brought home had no mustard and included mushrooms which I do not like. I didn't feel that it had a lot of flavor either. My husband stated that they were super busy and couldn't see how they kept track of what they were coking or who ordered what. All in all next time I think I'll go somewhere else. read more

The food at Five Guys is simply said as amazing, whereas the service was lousy. The workers would joke around while at the grill and disrupted the calm atmosphere with their rowdiness. When calling out orders if the employee had to call more than once you could tell that the tone of voice was one of impatience and rudeness. All in all the food is of a caliber that I hope never changes, but the same can't be said about the workers. read more

Awesome burger. Very clean white and red environment that feels inviting for a burger place. The kitchen is open so you can watch them cook your food. This was our go-to burger place until Mooya came to town, and the reason is because 5 guys doesn't offer a kids meal so you end up spending $12 on burger, fries, and a drink for a child who can eat half at best. They don't offer combos for adults either so everything is individually priced, making it more expensive than any other place in town (because who else doesn't offer combos? No one!) The burgers and fries are fantastic though!!! And the peanuts are always fun to eat while waiting on the order. I like their drink fountain as well :) read more
