I ordered two fries and three drinks and was told the wait time would only be about three minutes. I agreed to wait, but ended up waiting over 20 minutes. At that point, I decided it would be best to ask for a refund, assuming my order would still not be ready--and I was correct. When I approached the window and informed the employee that I wanted a refund, he said "OK" and went to the back. I assume he went to speak with a manager because when he returned, he asked me to hand him the drinks--drinks that I never received. I explained that I had been waiting 20 minutes and never got my drinks. Only then did he say, "Oh, I'm sorry," and issue the refund. My concern is what was going to happen with those drinks--were they planning to resell them? In addition, the way the employee asked for them came across as very rude and dismissive. Honestly, this kind of behavior usually stems from poor leadership. If the manager is not setting a good example, it affects the whole team. I hope management addresses this issue and ensures better service and professionalism in the future.
