So I wouldn't normally write a review for Whataburger while in Texas, but this Whataburger stood up and delivered! (In service, not actual food delivery in my case). I went inside to order before heading out on a road trip. I opted for the grilled chicken combo, which is one of my regular orders. I love how the chicken is always tender and never dry - they do this so well! But this sandwich, man. It was delicious as always but could have been the one featured in a commercial or print ad, it was put together beautifully and with care, not just thrown together. But let's talk service next. The girl who took my order was great; she gave me eye contact, was friendly and greeted me. I waited by the front for my To Go food to be ready and she came behind the counter to hand me my bag and ask if I needed any extra condiments. It really stood out to me how she came around the counter to hand me my bag. I was trained early in my career in food service and retail how to have high class customer service. This trip to Whataburger reminded me of my training and it was wonderful and refreshing! read more

The lady who took my order was very nice. However, I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich with extra buffalo sauce and extra ranch and not only did they NOT give me extra they gave me less than the normal amount. The onion rings were also very soggy. I would not recommend eating here. read more

Placed order on door dash this morning, one of the drinks was missing when delivered. Ordered 2 #5 bacon cheese burgers that looked like smash burgers with nothing but onions with a few slivers of lettuce, no tomatoes, fries we're soggy, worst burger I've ever had from this location. Slower than molasses!!! if you just have to stop go to the outside lane since they have a person dedicated to moving that lane faster approximately eight cars or more that pulled up after me received food first. They used to be good about curbside but please don't bother these days! The last 3 times, I've waited 20-30 minutes after check in to get my food. Have to flag down employees in the parking lot when they've finally brought other ppl food. It's absolutely ridiculous! Now this third time, after flagging down an employee, she brought me my cold ass bun less burgers but did try to do something by including 2 at apple pies that I really don't need. I'm surprised there's so many bad reviews. This is the best Whataburger around here. Very fresh, hot food every time I've been here. They were pretty busy and we got out of the drive thru within 10 minutes. I got my typical order #1 with cheese and a hot apple pie. I just had to give them a 5 star review for a fast food joint. My apple pie was fresh, still steaming by the time I ate it. I've had others that seemed to have been sitting a long time. But never at this location. The service was fast and friendly. It was also very clean. No trash in the parking lot and the outdoor menu and the windows spotless. So don't drive past. It's very good, at least that's what my experience has been. Burgers looked like someone sat on them. Fries were undercooked and soggy. Not good at all. This location has gone downhill by time.

Stopped by for a quick Sunday lunch. I ordered 2 - 3 pc chicken strips and when I got home I had 2 boxes of 2 chicken strips each. I asked for ketchup and picante sauce at the drive thru speaker and there was none in my bag. We ordered 3 large fries and all of them were cold, stale & disappointing. Today being Sunday and 12:30 drive thru was packed both lanes. So decided to go inside Line was long but service was fast and I had my food at table in about 5 mins. Had a free burger offer on app the new bacon double cheeseburger. Really good but I warn everyone if you don't like blue cheese crumbles (which are pretty strong) don't order. I actually like blue cheese and they were a little string for me. But it mixes well with all the toppings so no big deal. Place is clean, no flies in dining room, service excellant. Only issue is using un ripe tomatoes...taste kills the burger. Fresh ripe tomato enhances the burger taste if you like tomatoes. The only reason why this WB is getting 2 stars is because its WB. The foods always good. This is the slowest WB I've ever seen/been to. It took me, 45 minutes, on a Tuesday night, to get 2 chicken salads. Wow. The line was so long at the Drive Thru that a cop told another car he had to move because he was blocking a roadway. THATS how long the line was. Also, WB never asks you/reminds you to scan your app to get the points and they'rethe only fast food chain who STILL have not integrated a system where you can scan your receipt. The chicken Cobb salad was alright. The chicken could have been warmer where you can tell they had it out for 10 minutes then put it in my to-go container. Service was amazing, Ivan in the drive through couldn't have been nicer or more patient. We ordered a taquito which was the finest taquito I've ever eaten. We also got a honey butter chicken biscuit with the chicken on the side and they masterfully put the chicken on the side. If I lived in a perfect world, they wouldn't put the honey butter on the biscuit, but we all make mistakes. The parking lot feels very safe, even at 1 o'clock in the morning. Sadly this location has gone way downhill. Placed pickup order, pulled into curbside to check in, and 20 mins past when it should have been brought out I had to go into the store to check on my order which was just sitting there. They said it was 30 min wait, drive thru was now empty, and employees were sitting there chatting when I walked in. Not happy at all ! Now we have cold food, melted shake, the wait must have referred to the trigger of my impatience. I'm sad but not worth the frustration to eat there anymore. read more

This whataburger was the worst I've ever encountered. I always have an issue here but today was the last straw. There's just a bunch of high schoolers working here that either always mess up or just show how much they hate working there. The manager is super nice and does what he can but one of the younger guys working tonight was so rude for no reason. He was making me move out of the way when he could've just walked around me. Then he told me to sit down and stop hovering over them when I was literally just waiting by the sign that says mobile orders here. I hadn't even complained about waiting for 30 minutes for my order of only 2 meals. My drinks were already made when I got there; my shake was melted and my coke was watery and flat when I left. On top of all this they didn't give me my fries, the food was bad and cold (you'd expect waiting this long that it was be fresh huh but no) and I asked for no onions and they gave me a ton of them. Worst Whataburger EVER, Tonight they made both of the lanes merge into the one near the window, which is really really annoying because it just slows everything down like why not just Close the lane you are not using, Once I got up to the speaker, i probably sat there for a solid two minutes before somebody finally told me to give them a minute. By the time they got back to me, the line was all the way up to the window, and I looked like a total a-hole holding up the whole line, not only does the food take 30+ minutes every night doesn't matter what day of the week it is, they don't give you the condiments you ask for half the time, unless you check the bag and ask for it again at the window. I got the boneless wing meal for the second time in the first time I went, They asked me if I wanted ranch but this time when I went, I didn't get us that so I didn't think to ask for it and I didn't get it. Fries didn't have salt, and it's crazy because I asked for Salt (on the side) didn't get it... it's very safe to say that I'll either try to find another Whataburger to go to, or Just give my business to Taco Bell, which goes away faster anyways and Has excellent customer service read more

I'm not one to write reviews because it's usually not worth my time to complain, but this Whataburger is well deserving of some good ol fashioned Karen Kong Fu. If you're tight on time and need to grab a quick meal and you're thinking it's a good idea to eat at this location, do yourself a favor and go a couple miles further to the Whataburger location @ 290 and Spring Cypress or you could find a restaurant, wait to be seated, wait for the waiter to take your order, wait for them to bring your food, eat, wait for them to close your tab, and then leave. Either way it'll be faster than going through the drive thru at this mismanaged mess of a Whataburger. Spending 40 minutes in a drive-thru line is unexceptable.. This isn't my first time here, but it's the longest I've ever waited for "fast food". On several other occasions I've waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes and have even gone inside but still expect to wait about 20 minutes for carry out. Service is terrible, this must be a franchise store instead of a corporate run store and it really shows. They DO NOT greet you when you get ready to order, they just stare at you as if they are bothered or inconvenienced by you being there. They've screwed up my order several times because I usually don't check it before I take it home and then when I've complained the next time I'm in there they could care less. We've been going to this Whataburger since it opened and we've have loved it. Ever since the last couple of months, they're dining room service has decided severely. The last three times we've ordered online to eat at the restaurant we've had to wait 15-20 minutes and the food has been cold because it's just sitting there. Today was another example. We got there and the food was not ready. Waited 20 mins and nothing. Went to complaint and the food was just sitting in a tray. We got the food and realized they forgot our cinnamon roll. We go up there and the lady that runs the place says oh they were frozen. So she just was not gonna bring it. Meanwhile, the manager guy (has the computer and papers and sits in the back with a Whataburger polo.) listens to all of it and doesn't even try to help.
