Lack of customer service skills. Ordered on drive through and is taking more than 30 minutes to get my 2 items order.

It's not fast food. Took forever for the person to ask for my order. And then forever for them to bring me the food. I expect better, Whataburger. Figure out a more efficient system. read more

Day 3 - Austin, TX Am I missing something? I was so excited to try this TX chain... supposedly the BEST fast-food joint in Austin... so excited, that I even looked up the menu online and already decided what I wanted before I even got there! Just got a refund on my order! After having them remake my food (1st bun was hard as a rock), the 2nd time it comes back with the ingredients wrong. Mind you, when I tried to explain to them what was on the original burger, I got cut off by the counter/ cashier guy (Paul) who with a sarcastic tone said, "you want it just like the first one, right?" Of course, when my food came back it wasn't right. At this point, I asked for the manager and a refund. I'm leaving frustrated and hungry. Been in drive thru lane for 40 minutes. Not a single person that works here deserves the $7 an hour they get.

Food is good, prices are decent. I have been coming here for a bit because I live in the area. Let me start by saying I like Whataburger food and this place is no different. I think for the price it will be a better food quality thank your typical fast good chain. With that said I have has some less attractive meals here. Cold Food is one of the issues we have had here using the drive through. Not usually the burger but the fries are about 50/50 if they are fresh or not. Long waits is the other problem that we have usually. It could take anywhere from 10-20 minutes in some cases to get your food so if there is already a long line I wouldn't recommend stopping. You might do better going inside if they are open but I don't know for sure. Portion sizes are a definite plus because the quality of food is good. I feel like you get a rather large burger and fries, or salad, chicken sandwich, etc. for the $5-8 price you pay for your meal. Taste is the last thing I would say is solid. I haven't had anything that tasted bad from here. My kids and my wife are always satisfied (for the most part) with whatever we eat, so I think that's a win. With that said I think the overall value is good. We wouldn't keep going if it wasn't good, and my family of four eats here for about $20. The quantity and quality are a good match so I would recommend this place, so long as your not in much of a hurry. read more

Not sure why this Whataburger has such a low average review. This place is just as good and consistent as any other Whataburger. That's why I love Whataburger. You can trust the quality and consistency no matter where you go. I also just saw that they got a 100 on their health inspection. I've worked at many different restaurants so I know how they grade. Getting a 100 is a huge accomplishment! This restaurant is 1,000x better than the Popeyes or Sonic in the area. If you have a choice, always pick Whataburger! read more

Prior to the Whataburger change of hands, I visited this location's drive-through a handful of times with great service. Since then, I've visited but my expectations have not been met. This last visit my order was incorrect and when I pointed out the issue, they acted like they resolved the issue when handing me my bag. It was still wrong, I found, after leaving. This location is crap. Drive through line was ridiculous, ordered a patty melt and large fries, waited about 15-20 minutes. The employee was friendly but making excuses, said they put down a fresh order of onion rings, but when I received my order, the onion rings were ICE COLD, and stuck together, the patty melt was okay, nothing to write home about, looked like it was slopped together but at least it was warm? It was greasy, the wrapping was shiny and the grease seeped through the paper. I've never had Whataburger before and I will not be returning. I thought since there were several cars in the drive-thru at 3pm then it should be good. Not!! Do not waste your money unless you like huge chopped onions and way too much mustard. The lettuce were little cut squares instead of leaves. So disappointing. This location had very good fries, the requisite decent burger, and from what I heard, really awful iced tea. I had lemonade, so I can't say for sure. I've never been to a restaurant, more or less a FAST FOOD restaurant, and been charged anything in order to get ranch dressing. I usually love Whataburger but this location needs some serious retraining and change of management. The line is always long just like other Whataburgers but this one takes WAY more time to get orders out. I spent 20 minutes in line in the drive-thru before deciding to leave because not a single car had moved. The burgers are sloppy and the fries are always way over salted. Also, there is no difference in the amount of fries you get if you Whatasize it you just get the big container half full. That is not all, make sure to check your order every time because we always get wrong a wrong order even after the sweet time it takes them to get it to us.
