So I'm at this Location and I am from Atl, Ga one, I walk from a lounge to this place to prefer food and wait for a Lyft ride home. So I walk into the lobby and the girl worker says that the door should have been locked and I can not wait inside for my Lyft but wait outside at 12am. So I am hungry and left outside in a weird place. I actually started crying because I could have been hurt but she insist that it's based on customer safely. I have never felt so unsafe in my life. Have to write a review bc I've noticed significant improvement at this location recently; I used to drive out to further locations even though this one is 4 mins away. There was a wonderful cashier last visit and today a very nice gentleman brought out my food. They added curbside parking now which is sweet. Before you had to go through the drive thru and that sometimes defeats the purpose of curbside if there's a hella line. Whataburger?! More like WhataJOKE!! I have never had such a horrible experience at ANY food restaurant, fast food or not, in my life. This staff seemed completely unequipped with the basic knowledge of what good customer service is. After ordering our food in the drive through and sitting behind another vehicle for close to ten minutes while they waited for their food, once we pulled up to the window NOT. A. SINGLE. PERSON. spoke to us for another 10-15 minutes. The car in front of us returned food to the window about 3 times complaining about it being cold, burnt, or the wrong order-- we saw all this happen before we got our food so you can bet we were not very excited to receive our food. Looking through the drive through window we could see people in there but not doing anything productive. Once we were leaving, there were at least 8 other cars backed up in the drive through. One woman was also turned away from using the bathroom even though their sign says "24 hours". We could also visibly see a worker ON HER PHONE when all of this was happening. Straight up horrible service, poor quality food, and just an over all disappointing experience. I have no intention of ever visiting one of their locations again. read more

I've eaten at this Whataburger on numerous occasions over the years because it is convenient to my house. I've gone at different times during the day and the night and I've finally come to the conclusion that this is the worst Whataburger in Texas. When I say it is the worst, I mean that the people that work there are the most incompetent and least professional people I've ever seen working at a fast food establishment. Look, I know that working at a fast food restaurant is not the best job in the world, but at least you can try to give the minimum amount of customer service in both expediency and the correctness of the order. Came by last night ordered three meals. Once we got to the window the cashier had an attitude. We tried to make him smile but he just appeared more annoyed. Upon receiving our food we realized that the only thing warm was the cinnamon roll. The fries tasted old and over salted. Burgers were both cold and tasted as if the meat had been sitting out for hours. Since we were all hungry we waited and warmed up the food. Today everyone is experiencing signs and symptoms of food poisoning. This leads to the conclusion that no matter if there were 5-6 people staffed to prepare food, the service was contaminated and cold. I do not recommend this location to anyone! This is a Whataburger, so take the 5-stars for what they're worth, but I think it's worth noting that the staff are extremely friendly and take pride in their restaurant. It's always spotless. And maybe it's weird to say, but the food just tastes better here. Maybe it's because they have more refined standards of hygiene and freshness or maybe it's for that same mysterious reason your car always seems to perform better after a carwash. I have been a customer of this restaurant on a semi-regular basis for years. Today the young woman at the drive thru lane took my order at 10:45 am and asked me to drive to the front of the restaurant. I waited for 15 minutes while no employee came to take my payment for the order. I had to go into the restaurant to learn the same young woman never placed my order. It took three different employees to finally complete my order. The same incompetent woman who failed to take my order pretended she did not recognize me. My total wait time was nearly 30 minutes. To add insult to injury, the soft drink machine malfunctioned and I got a diluted soft drink (mostly water) as a result. Horrible service and slow is a bad combination. What a mess! read more

I have been a Whataburger fan for 10 years and now I will never visit another Whataburger again. I have been here probably 10 times and I'm just fed up at this point. Probably 8 of the 10 times was a 15-20 minute wait for my meal. At least half the time they got the order wrong. Seriously, how does a store like this stay open. THIS STORE NEEDS TO HAVE ITS FRANCHISE LICENSE REVOKED. Horribly understaffed, the food comes out wrong and cold, and all they can do is tell me how understaffed they are. I don't care. You know, I think the best fast food burger cooks are on the east side of Austin. I mean they are juicy. Not much to say about this place, atmosphere is nice and cool, bathrooms are clean and your not afraid to touch the door to enter. I usually get onion rings, but for some reason they taste kinda funny. It could be my body cringing from the fried fat. The onion rings are not that great but I just do not want the fries. This is the reason I usually order a burger and a drink, I just skip the combo. I rather have a bigger burger than a small combo with fries and a drink. Otherwise, this is a good place to eat, and can hold groups although in groups of 4 to 5. read more

This whataburger was kind of a let down. My wife got just a regular whataburger and I got a patty melt. My melt was good, but my wife's burger was nearly cold right when we received it. The cheese was placed under the patty which was weird and never got hot enough to become melty at all and the tomatoes were stacked all in one spot on the burger (just kind of annoying). I have been a regular customer at this place for a long time. Since I moved to Texas I go to Whataburger at least two three times a week. Every single time I go to this specific location they delay my order about 15 minutes which is not a big deal (even though like I said they see my face a lot). Last time I was there my order took 35 minutes literally and it was just me and another guy in front of me (who was offered a refund and accepted it). Not only I was offered nothing but when I took my order to my car I realized that they had given me the wrong items, I literally had to go inside and wait another 20 minutes for them to get it right. I saw whataburger on a show on TV a couple days ago and decided to come by since we just landed in Texas. I went with 3 others and we all agreed it was the best fast food service we ever had. The manager even came over to ask how we liked our food. We were acknowledged by all the workers. They bring the food to us at ur table with a platter of sauces to choose from.
