Never had their dog bites or frozen lemonade, so let's get those, eh?! Hubbers also wanted the pretzel with pepperoni toppings. There was a bit of a line, so they're clearly popular. While in line, I noticed they were showcasing a mango-lemonade drink, so I changed my mind about the frozen lemonade and planned to get that instead. When my turn came, I told the cashier exactly what Hubbers wanted. Then what I wanted. "Sorry, no dog bites right now..." followed by "the mango-lemonade isn't ready." So I went back to my original plan of frozen lemonade and got the pizza bites instead (since it was good and ready to go, but "sorry... frozen lemonade not ready either..." Man, I was 0 for 3! What is happening! How do you advertise new stuff and not have it?! Disappointment already rained over me and almost changed my mind but I needed a snack, so I just went for regular lemonade. Did the contactless payment thing and when the *ding* went, I asked for a straw and napkins. He handed me a straw and said, "Sorry, no napkins..." How in the world do you not have napkins?! (Insert angry face here...) FOOD: 1. Simply because I had to settle for something else. And that left a less-than great taste in my mouth. SERVICE: 1. Everything I wanted wasn't available AAANNNDDD no napkins?! Nope. VALUE: 1. Again, because I had to settle. PARKING: It's a kiosk within the Broadway Plaza, so parking can be hit and miss. We parked at a nearby parking structure for a fee. OVERALL: 1. One rating on a one-and-done. Can't possibly expect anything better than that.

I was roaming around Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek and came across this brand spanking new Wetzel's Pretzels! I usually go to the location in the Sun Valley Mall, but I was excited to see one here! I hate having to walk through the mall and wait in the long times at the Sun Valley center, so this new Walnut Creek location is super convenient! It's located directly across from Victoria's Secret. Who decided to put it right there? Whoever it was is a strategic genius because after trying on a million things at Vicky's, I'll be sure to work up a craving for a pretzel EVERY time! This location is a small kiosk located right in the middle of the walkway. It's a little different because the ladies are completely enclosed behind the glass. I love their pretzel dogs and pizza pretzels, but I decided to grab the sinful cinnamon pretzel this time around since my sweet tooth was throbbing. The ladies at the counter were cordial and quick. My pretzel came of warm with lots of yummy cinnamon sugar coats! I'm so excited to have this new location conveniently located in the plaza!

The ambiance was what you would want in a brewery. Very chill, fun and friendly vibes. There are TVs in the indoor area and lots of space outside. There was a wide range of beers options and a good crowd mix of people. I was happy I was able to visit here and look forward to coming back again!

Pros - Friendly cashier, good assortment of beer and ciders, dog-friendly…read more Neutral - Loud music outside. Cons - No employee approached a male dog owner over his pit bull excessively howling / yelping over another dog. A couple yelps, fine. It kept going, it was loud, the silver-haired Boomer was taking his sweet time to ( not ) control his dog with respect to other people in the patio area. So, dogs are preferred over people, no one on staff to politely ask the man to control the dog immediately? One more thing: the barking was such a nuisance that I and another customer were looking back at the owner to see if he was taking care of it, the customer quipped about the dog going to be attacking him, if anything, I joked that I'd be fine, he then suddenly held up the numbered signage for his order ( w/ metal stand ) saying he was going to hit me with it. ( No light-hearted tone, moreso irritated and aggressive. ) And this is how suddenly bad things happen, how a customer spews out a verbal threat ( technically criminal assault ), linked to an out-of-control situation with a pet owner and his dog and a restaurant that won't do anything about it. Simple Solution: Train employees ( or remind them ) to assertively and cordially request owners to keep their dogs peaceful and quiet. Otherwise, it's sweeping a problem under the rug. Not smart nor respectful of other customers. Being Fair: If you like the energy of a loud restaurant, whether it's music and/or dogs barking, then you should be fine, drinks and all. If you love dogs, yet want them responsibly controlled in an environment where you seek to maintain an actual meaningful conversation, this establishment is a roll of the dice.

The food is still as delicious as ever, and the staff is more than happy to guide you through their extensive menu to find the perfect dish that suits your taste buds. One of the standout features of The Speisekammer is its large screen TVs, making it an ideal spot to watch the World Cup soccer matches. The cocktails are equally impressive, expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. During the fall, The Speisekammer truly comes alive with Oktoberfest celebrations. They throw an extravagant German party that is unlike any other in the East Bay. The outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy the beautiful weather and socialize with friends. I highly recommend The Speisekammer for anyone looking for a fun and delicious German dining experience. I plan to return soon to catch some soccer matches with friends and soak in the lively atmosphere.

Look, you just do NOT take a cold piece of old, smell bad, PRE-COOKED veal, veal shoulder probably roasted in an oven, then sliced, left out for days, and bread it in Panko bread crumbs fry it in old grease and pull it off as Wiener Schnitzel. REAL schnitzel is raw veal or chicken, breaded and fried in real breadcrumbs, not Panko. Thirdly, On the plate was 3-4 cups of a Huge serving of greasy potatoes ....Potatoes with onions and bacon were dripping in oil or crisco or lard or whatever the hell it was. So large a serving of potatoes it filled the plate, making the tiny old meat smell 4" x 4" piece of veal look like a generous serving. No bread was served. Had to pay $2.50 for a pathetic piece of bread that was supposed to be garlic bread. Wrong. It came with a plastic cup of a cold hunk of grease with parsley and supposedly garlic butter ....smelled really bad ....OLD something...certainly NOT butter...something, but definitely NOT butter. The pickled salad of beets, pickles, and carrots was ok and not too poorly done. You can get pickled beets, carrots, pickles out of a jar. Sauerkraut was out of a can...mushy. Never, never, never go here. Asians bought it, hired non speaking immigrants, and ruined the place. Kitchen was filthy as well as floors, bathrooms. They need to be shut down.

We started with the Crispy Cauliflower, coated with tempura batter and served with lemon aioli; Roasted Brussels Sprouts, topped with chili flakes & Parmesan and served in a cast iron skillet; and the Hummus, topped with Pepitas and served with thin, crispy parm'd pizza bread. The Chopped Kale Salad came with apple, radish, carrot, cotija, and Pepitas, all tossed in a tangy pomegranate vinaigrette; and the Chickpea Salad also had a base of kale topped with chickpeas, roasted sweet potato/carrot, and charred halloumi, and dressed with herbed pesto. The highlight of the menu was their creative pizzas, which you could order either on a thin, crispy Neapolitan crust, or on a thick, soft, square-shaped Detroit-style base with crispy baked cheese edges. The Fun Guy came with porcini cream, mushroom, onion, goat cheese, and pecorino; and the Hail Mary came with beer braised chicken, caramelized onion, cotija, garlic, and Calabrian chili oil, which gave the pizza a flavorful spicy kick. Overall, my favorite items were the Hummus with aromatic pizza bread; and the tantalizingly spicy Detroit-style Hail Mary, but everything was tasty and came at a good value and with quick service too!
