Bernadette was amazing! I'm leaving for France on a master's program and I need to bring gifts to my professors. She wrapped up everything and helped me pick it out to make the gifts special. Thank you Bernadette! read more

Wow Bernadette! I haven't left the parking lot and I'm typing this review already. Me and my partner went to have soup at boudin and walked across to grab something sweet afterwards intending to only get about 3-4 pieces. She greeted us, welcomed us in and listened to what me and my partner discussed. She remembered I didn't like peanut butter and only offered those types of chocolates to my partner. She was funny, very polite, nice, and curated an 8 minute experience into one of the best customer experiences I've had in a while. We ended up walking out with a box of chocolates and more because of her. Thank you Bernadette. You're an amazing woman to interact with. read more

I come to this location to see Deborah B! She shares her name with my mom and she's always so kind and helpful. She takes personal care and time with each person she helps. Never making it feel rushed- even if there's a line. Was so excited to see that after 105 years, See's has finally come out with the milk chocolate scotchmallow. I love the dark chocolate version, so knew I'd love the milk even more. I was right. Located across from Nordstrom and Boudin's. Not easily accessible from any of the parking lots/garages- probably because they have had to shut down the main street to Broadway Plaza (for several reasons). Service is always exceptional. I've never come here and they not have what I wanted. read more

This is a convenient and good location to visit if you are ever checking out the stores or mall in this area. This one has a cute set up and really good customer service. Of course like the other locations, it has most of the same exact stuff. From the showcase that carries all the different truffles and other amazing chocolates. The peanut brittle, the lollipops, the boxed chocolates and so much more. At least this location is fun to go to and stop at whenever nearby to get some chocolates. There are so many to choose from and so much good flavors in the chocolates. read more

We went to the See's candy store at the Broadway Plaza and the gentleman that assisted us tonight at 6 p.m. was awesome! I wish I would have gotten his name but his customer service was excellent. There was a line of customers and he was the only employee at the store and he was so patient and great with all the customers. When it was our turn to order our candy he was so nice. We love See's candy. read more

Love the variety of choices from sweet to very sweet. Location is strategic too. We will keep on coming back.

I've been to many See's locations but the service I received from Deborah at this location was nothing short of exemplary. Deborah was extremely warm and professional and took my experience to another level. Thank you Deborah. read more

DEBORAH B WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND WITH US TODAY I LEFT IN TEARS I seriously think the universe had me and my partner meet her today I can't believe how sweet and helpful and awesome she was. Her sweetness seriously gave me hope in the world that I really needed. That lady is seriously a saint on earth and gave the world's best customer service. If I could vote for her for president I would. WOW I am seriously blown away I never in a million years would think stopping to get candy would literally change my perspective on life lol read more

See's Candies - Candy Stores Near Me - Walnut Creek, California

Although I'm a big lover of chocolate, I don't come to See's Candies too often. But when the birthdays and holidays start rolling in, this is my go-to place for gifts. Because who doesn't love a delicious box of chocolates?! I've been to this See's location in Walnut Creek quite a few times over the years, and what I can say is that the employees are always helpful. I've always received excellent service here. I stopped by last December to purchase some chocolates for my mom for Christmas. She's obsessed with the milk chocolate pecan buds, so I had to spoil her and purchase a customized box of them. It was really busy when I walked in as it was just a few weeks before Christmas. Although it was busy, the ladies who were working that day were on it. They cleared the line pretty quickly which was great. I love that they do complimentary gift wrapping. Lord knows that I'm a horrible gift wrapper, and this saves me so much time and embarrassment. They still offer samples even during COVID, but I'm not sure if you're allowed to actually taste them while you're inside of the store. They threw in a few samples for me which I super appreciated. During the holidays, they often have special deals and promotions going on which are always fun to take advantage of. This store in particular always appears to be bright and clean. Even though I only stop here a few times or less during the year, it's always nice to know that I'll receive great service from the staff in Walnut Creek. read more

BEST candy ever. I grew up on it, so not only do they have the widest selection & highest quality of chocolate & ingredients, but it has been a part of every holiday of my life. The staff here is stellar! Stop by, you will love this quaint candy shop! read more

I always enjoyed the nostalgia of every See's Candies shop. Many of the big chain department stores always try to "rebrand" or "redesign" their stores by taking away or completely changing there products, but Sees know wheres it at , its the candies that bring everyone in! Store Itself: Located by the North side of Nordstrom and has a large size guiding your way to chocolates! I Haven't been in to this Sees location in particular, but this store is clean, bright, and smells like delicious chocolate! Products are all well stocked and in order. Lots to choose from. Service: Little slow. But its the holidays so thats expectable. Store associates are kind and responsive and help you pick out your custom candy boxes or anything else you need. Prices: Gone way up... just like every thing now a-days. Small custom box about 10 pieces about $16 bucks... expensive. Overall: A convenient place to pick up gifts as well as all your favorites that Sees has to offer. read more

Nicest women helped me this past week- Deborah could not have been more helpful. Thank you,

This location was quick with service but not the usual extra friendly staff I encounter. One of my go to chocolate stores. I live next to one, so I'm quite the addict :) I had to ask for my sample & reiterate my order. read more

It's been years since I visited a See's and the customer rep Deborah reminded us of all the old time goodness and hospitality of this brand. Deborah went above and beyond in her kindness to us and how knowledgeable she was on the candy. We felt as if we had known her and the candy forever. The chocolate was so good! She is such a warm human being and we were just blown away. We will definitely be back! read more

I stopped in with a friend who was on a chocolate gift mission! And of course I couldn't NOT buy something myself!!! So I got a few valentines goodies, and I got myself an all time fave a dark chocolate Bordeaux and a few molasses chips...I mean come on we all have our faves, right?! The shop would only during the tight restriction time let a few people in at a time and were very helpful and nice. It wasn't an easy time during our second lockdown, but chocolate makes everything better! And who can say no to a See's chocolate. read more

Came to get a Carmel marshmallow... my fav and some chocolate for my daughter. I personally don't care for chocolate but love love scotch kisses and key limes... the clerk stuffed a little paper bag with 12 chocolates and 2 scotch kisses only to have the bag break and candy fall all over the ground. She was awful. Then she had the nerve to ask me if I ate one because a little piece of white chocolate was missing off a cake candy piece... WTH... like she was doing me a favor replacing it for me... wow! While the other clerk was kindly allowing 2 girls have taste tests... unbelievable. read more

I don't usually write reviews for businesses like these, but bless their hearts. Around Christmas time, my mom and I walked in because she was given a task at work to buy 300 boxes of chocolate for work. We were literally in there for an hour, and they were so nice and helpful. We got everything we needed and we were really impressed by how they handled that kind of volume. Needed to be pointed out how great the service was. Also, See's Candies are truly so delicious. Love that it's a Bay Area native. read more

I love going to Sees, the employees are always consistently nice and the chocolates are so good. This business has been around forever, it's nice to see it still here in Broadway plaza. Love Sees. read more

See's candies reminds me of elementary school fundraisers which included their candy bars and lollipops. Then it reminds me of the holidays and the gift boxes we would receive in the office. I was always a fan of their chews but one of my friends raved about their Scotchmallows so I had to give it a try. They only let about 1 party in at a time, I had a group of 4 so there was a line outside. I called while waiting in line to ask if they had Scotchmallows because I know they run out of some candies at locations, and in my luck they had some! We waited probably around 20 minutes to get inside. The workers sanitized between customers and someone helped you with choosing which chocolates you like and how many. I got about 6 Scotchmallows which they weighed and charged by the pound. For 6 it came out to about $7. They take Apple Pay and even give you chocolate to sample that's individually wrapped. read more

I have never really been an old school box of chocolate fan for the last 40+ years until last year. A friend of mine got me a box of nuts and clusters and I realized what I have been missing eating lousy candy bars vs delicious candy. I usually go around the holidays so the line is long and slow. The good part is they always give free samples. It is not cheap for a big box but worth the splurge and worth the calories. read more

I have been to this See's location at Broadway Plaza is the past during the holidays. No issues with service previous to yesterday on 12/19/2024. The line was long and we were advised by an employee that we could go straight to the cashier to pay since we were not ordering anything custom. Once we picked up our items while still line, we walked to the cashier and the young gal at the cashier station yelled at us to get back in line. I was pretty shocked at her demeanor. It was downright rude! So we got back into our place in line and the same (nice) employee we encountered at our arrival told me she was sorry for the rude treatment. This was rude and not to mention embarrassing being yelled at. Finally we get to the rude cashier and she wasn't going to offer us samples. OH MY GOD! After we spent over $100! She looked around to see she was being watched by other See's employees. She then offered us samples. Honestly, this young gal should be fired. I cannot say I will frequent this location again after this experience. I always have a pleasant buying experience at the Contra Costa Blvd location in Pleasant Hill. read more

Like so many other places, you'll need to have patience with the COVID restrictions. If you are there to buy a box of pre-packaged candy, you may get in and out in a fair amount of time. However, if you want custom box of chocolates, there is only ONE operative helping in that capacity. Lord help you if someone in front of you is ordering multiple boxes and choosing each piece as she goes. THEN, The same one person who is helping with that, also has to gift wrap each box. There's gotta be a better way. read more

Opened my custom made small box and some of the chocolates I picked were not there! I asked for dark buttercream and I got dark chocolate butter. It's not a horrible mistake, but I spent $95 this trip. And it's not like you can go back and get the ones you ordered. This is not a rare mistake. I came here because the switching mistakes happened in Lafayette, too. read more

I've been coming to See's candies for all occasions every year but I must say of all the locations I've visited this is by far the best one. You must be wondering what is the difference between this location and another location. Well to begin with, there is no difference in taste for all the delicious chocolates and the price is generally the same. It's all about the SERVICE I received from this particular location that made this location special. The ladies in the front were beyond nice and made sure that I was helped to the max. It's good to know that some people understand that a little kindness goes a long way! read more

I was pleasantly surprised at how courteous the staff was at this location! I've been to two other See's Candies locations -- one in Lafayette and one in Pleasant Hill -- and was poorly treated at both by staff members. So I thought that's the way that See's treats its customers! I was glad that the salesperson behind the counter actually smiled, welcomed me into the store, and told me thank you at the end of my visit. I'll bookmark this location and delete the other two locations from my list! read more

Tucked by NM's side entrance I was so glad to find See's so I could get the chocolate turkeys for my DGD's. I love the foil wrapping on these and the chocolate is a kid pleaser. They want whipped cream on theirs...and that is fine by me... It is a holiday after all!! read more

Needed a chocolate fix and have been wanting to try their dark chocolate walnut squares for a long time so our little family made a quick stop here one Saturday afternoon. We were greeted by Grace who was so joyful as she was helping another customer ahead of us. Grace rang us up with care and took the time to help us find yummy samplers she thought we would like. She has such a giving spirit and was so sweet to our 8 month old son. We will definitely be coming back to visit again! read more

The lady at the counter is such a nice soul! It wasn't very crowded there, and my friend wanted to come in here for free samples, but we felt terrible about just going in to get samples and then leaving, so she bought a chocolate butterscotch something. We each got samples of a light chocolate truffle, as well chocolate almond candies. I tried out a polar bear paw, which is white chocolate with caramel and nuts. I do believe I may have a new favorite chocolate. :D It's the perfect combination of sweet and salty. :D I'm a bit sad that two pieces of chocolate = $1.60. :/ But the lady was so nice, it made it a slight bit better. :O read more

Always love sweets and chocolate and See's is heaven. They also give you a free truffle if you wait in line, even without purchase. I really like their dark chocolate chew, brittles and all the truffles they have. This is definitely nowhere close to those Belgium Chocolate grade but it is a true American sweet chocolate shop! The price is also acceptable given I just came back from Belgium and saw how expensive those handmade chocolate is. If you like sweet chocolate, this is a good place! read more

Horrible customer service. My family and I were next in line and the employee said she can help who is next. She looked at my family and helped the customers who were behind us instead. DO NOT SUPPORT this See's Candies location!! read more

I like this location a little better than the one in Pleasant Hill. It's smaller and I'm sure it has its 'very-crowded' moments, but I've had pretty fast service in here more than once. As long as you have decisive customers. Please don't go into any candy store with the "I don't know what I want attitude." Well, you can go in that way, but don't get in line until you're ready to order. Please and thank you.\ Favorite recommendation: milk chocolate butterscotch squares (bordeaux is my 2nd fave) Fiance's fave recommendation: molasses chips read more
