My dog is a Golden Retriever who has some skin allergies and is also a pet-assisted therapy animal, so he needs careful, regular baths. Rosie is always attentive and helpful, offers to set a timer for our special prescription shampoo, and has great tips and suggestions. The facility and grooming aids are always clean, and she provides aprons so your clothes don't get (as) soaked). read more

This is hands down my favorite place to bring my dog. Their self service is amazing! You can pick from a $10 package or a $15 package but I definitely recommend spending a little extra and getting the $15 package since you can get ear cleaners, eye cleaners, blow dryers, etc! The stuff was very sanitary and I loved that the staff gave us such good advice on how to clean and blow dry our corgi Biscuit! If you guys are ever in the area and want to wash your pets, I HIGHLY recommend coming here. Wet Paws is the place to go to give your dog a bath. They have everything you need from a variety of shampoos, cleaners, towels, aprons, and dryer, I like the fact I don't have to bend over my tub to give my little dog a bath. It's easier on my back. Rosie is amazing and so kind. You can tell she loves dogs. I'm a new dog owner and she taught me how to give my a proper a bath. She had great tips. My daughter and I have a great time giving our little dog a bath. Our dog seems to enjoy it too. read more

Excellent place to self wash your dog. Friendly staff and a very good value. Their tubs are kept clean and they have the ability to elevate the platform to more effectively lather up your pooch without killing your back. The only thing I found that was less than perfect was the shampoo they supplied seemed a bit weak and didn't lather very well and their faucets aren't pressure balanced and don't have the most effective spray. In my experience, aerated hand showers are far more effective at rinsing out soap and lather and conditioner. That said, I can and will bring my own shampoo and conditioner. And also have filtered water at home which results in an explosion of lather with small amounts of shampoo. read more

I took my dog - Shandi - here for the 2nd time today. Highly recommend this place. The owner is great and helps you the whole time (if needed) and gives advice based on your dog's breed and size. Have everything you'd need, along with treats for the dogs, candy for the customers and spray perfume for your dog when you leave. They have music on which I appreciate and makes for a nice environment. I live down the street and can walk here which is even better. Plan on bringing my other dog Bleau soon! I had the pleasure of popping into "Wet Paws" yesterday to bathe my mutt Juniper and I cannot recommend them highly enough! This is a wash your own dog establishment but provides you with everything you need to get the job done - aprons, brushes, shampoos, towels, washcloths, tie-ups, ear cleaner, everything! They're super helpful with wrangling your dog in and out of the tub and the tubs are waist height so there's no painful bending over. You still get a good soaking because no dog can resist shaking when they're wet, but it sure beats kneeling over the bathtub or using the garden hose. The proprietors are super friendly to boot. The cost for just a wash is $10, for $15 you get a wash/blow plus a few extras. Note that they are a cash only business. read more

The owner Rosie is the Sweetest as well as Knowledgeable! I am SLOW when it comes to washing my Big Hairy Show Dogs so those "other" places with " limited times" don't work for me. If you're like me, you probably hate your house smelling like wet dog...And, what's even worse, when your wet dog goes nuts and runs on all the couches/carpet/bed. So fun!!! Not. Wet Paws is a great little self service dog wash! I took my two dogs here today and it was a great experience. The place is clean, organized and the staff is very friendly. Because I had two dogs, she put me in a closed off room, which made it easier as the dog I wasn't bathing could run around. I loved the selection of products and grooming tools, and Rosie was super helpful. She brought in extra towels for my big dog and offered suggestions about which brushes to use. The best. Just the best. Excellent prices, excellent facilities, sweet staff, just perfect for your pup. I took my two boys here on a slow Wednesday, and Rosie kept an eye on one while I washed the other. Neither of my dogs is a huge fan of being groomed, but Wet Paws makes it all so easy by having everything you need, within arm's reach. I left with two happy, sweet-smelling dogs -- and a pretty damp shirt, to be honest, even though they do provide aprons! Also they take pictures of your dogs when they are all wet and sad and post them on their Facebook page. So funny!!! read more

Can't say enough about the wonderful amenities (three choices of shampoo, conditioner, ear cleaner, an array of brushes that worked better than anything I previously knew existed, a nice big washtub with ramp and warm water...I could go on and on). I had never bathed my two lab mixes before and didn't know what I was doing, but Rosie talked me through everything so warmly and clearly (she has a background in education, so makes sense!). Because I had two dogs, she offered me a private room, so one dog could walk around while I washed the other. She was sooooooo sweet to my pups and I felt welcomed and very comfortable there. Sooooooo glad I found this place! This is a great example of a business that is there because it truly cares about the population it serves. What could have been a chore turned into a fun and productive Saturday morning! I'll be back soon! read more

I have a 55lb shepherd husky who, after 12 years, still hasn't gotten used to baths. But she did really well here. I've been to other self serve dog bath shops but this one stands out because 1) the proprietor is super friendly and helpful, 2) you're not made to feel rushed to finish the bath, 3) the shampoo and conditioner smelled good and made my dog's usually wiry fur super soft, and 4) the place is very clean. Also has a really good energy. This place is ten minutes further from me than another self serve dog wash shop but I'll happily go back to Wet Paws. read more

My husband & I brought our dog Luna to Wet Paws for a quick bath, and the owner Rosie was so helpful! She walked us through all the steps necessary to wash our fur baby, and it was a great experience for all of us. Luna doesn't like the water and probably equates baths with a visit to the vet, but I bet this will change over time -- especially because we're the ones bathing her. Great new business in Altadena. The owner is friendly and helpful; I can tell she really likes dogs. We felt far more welcome here compared to the self-wash place we tried in Pasadena on California Blvd. We did the self-wash and dry for our Golden Retriever. Great fixtures and all the right tools. $15 is right in line with other self-wash businesses. I highly recommend you give Wet Paws a try. We will definitely be back. read more

This place is wonderful! Very reasonably priced and it has so many nice extra touches that you won't find at other self-serve wash locations. Also: it's small and quiet. If your pet gets a little too worked up going to the self-serve wash in a large pet store, this is a PERFECT alternative. Owner is knowledgeable and patient. My son and I took our puppy Buster for a bath today and I must say our experience was wonderful. Rosie was helpful, kind, and loving toward Buster.
