After a very frustrating experience with another grooming salon earlier in the day, I was incredibly grateful to find Puppy Fades in Pasadena and Hilda, who was able to fit my English Bulldog, Lilo, in for a same-day appointment. I was especially nervous because the previous groomer had told me that Lilo was aggressive and had supposedly charged at three different groomers. This was extremely difficult for me to believe because Lilo has never been aggressive toward people or other dogs. She has been groomed before without any issues, so hearing this was concerning, shocking and upsetting. Thankfully, Hilda completely put my mind at ease. She was calm, patient, professional, and clearly very comfortable handling dogs. She treated Lilo with such care and confidence, and most importantly, Lilo did amazing with her! Hilda was able to complete all of the grooming services we had originally planned, and there were no issues whatsoever. Seeing how well Lilo did with Hilda was such a relief and made me even more grateful that I was able to find Puppy Fades. I truly appreciate Hilda taking Lilo in on such short notice and giving her such a positive experience. She was wonderful with Lilo, and I could tell that she genuinely cared about making her comfortable. We will absolutely be coming back to Hilda at Puppy Fades! If you're looking for a groomer who is patient, professional, caring, and knows how to handle dogs, I highly recommend her. Thank you, Hilda, for taking such great care of my girl! read more

Amazing customer service ! Took our family dog Rocky here today, and we are beyond grateful of how well taken care of he was! Hilda (I might be spelling this wrong) was an amazing groomer. Rocky is one big cuddle bug and off first impressions he looks scary. Even with that they didn't care they took him in with an amazing attitude and energy! This is the first grooming experience that I was able to speak to the groomer 1 on 1, and break down everything he needed! When pickup came around, they expressed how much of a good boy he was! He was happy and not anxious at all ! 10/10 can't wait to be back! read more

We took our dog here for the first time and were completely happy with the results. We have always been fans of Homeboy Industries and are pleased to be able to support them in this new venture. Our groomer recently sold her business and we have not been pleased with the work of the new owners. I made an appointment with Puppy Fades and they took the time and effort to make sure they got everything done correctly. They are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. My dog went in looking dirty and disheveled and came out shiny and happy. read more

We've been here a number of times with our little furball. He has a bit of anxiety so they sit down with him until he's comfortable heading in for his bath, grooming, nail trim and deshedding. Many groomers see a corgi and just buzz them down as much as possible to make their jobs easier, but at Puppy Fades they made sure they only trimmed down to the length we want. Also, their employees are very friendly and professional with us humans as well. read more

I just want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible job you all did at Puppy Fades HomeBoy Industries. When my previous groomer closed, I was anxious about finding a new place for my baby Archie. Thankfully, my sister discovered your grooming store through social media, and I'm so glad I decided to give you a try! I could see that my baby was nervous when I brought him in. But when I picked him up, he was happy--something I had never seen before! My heart was filled with happiness. The warmth and positivity that radiated from your team created an atmosphere of calmness and comfort that truly made a difference. I can't express enough how grateful I am for your care and attention. Yes, the prices might be a little higher, but knowing that my baby Archie left happy and relaxed makes every penny worthwhile. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Puppy Fades HomeBoy Industries! And a special shoutout to Dee for being so wonderful. You are all amazing! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Puppy Fades! My dog is very nervous and anxious around new people, but Richard was absolutely amazing with her. He handled her with such care and patience, and she came out looking SO good--clean, sharp, and happy. You can tell he really knows how to work with dogs who need a little extra gentleness. The customer service was also fantastic. I was running late to our appointment, and Rosemary was incredibly kind and understanding about it, which really helped ease my own stress. Highly recommend Puppy Fades if you're looking for a groomer who's both skilled and compassionate. We'll definitely be back! read more

I took my dog here for the first time today, and I am so happy with the service. It's a beautiful clean new facility, and the staff are so warm and welcoming, and they made my nervous little pup feel so at ease. The groomer suggested having fun and adding some color to her mohawk, and I said go for it - and I'm absolutely in love with the final result! Plus, my dog smells great, is super clean, and has a perfect haircut for the summer. This will definitely be our new go to spot! Just amazing!! I was able to book my appointment and submit my pooch info online with no hassle. (Which for me was a plus) was a little nervous because my gentle giant can be a little nervous and stubborn. We felt welcome the moment we walked inside. Staff notice my dog was a little nervous, and took the time to calm him down and take him to a happy place. Haha My dog went from being nervous to walking like he's been here before. They did an amazing job, and my dog looked ready to take over the town. We have had two appointments now and we just booked the 3rd! Praying this will be our forever! THANK YOU to ALL the staff! Don't know where to begin about how wonderful my experience was here. The warm greeting from Rosemary at the front desk, the superb way Damian groomed my dog, the ease of checkout--all exactly what you want, but so often do not get. This was my 1-year old puppy's first true grooming experience and it was amazing. Hilda took all the time necessary to ensure he wasn't frightened. At first it didn't seem like he had too many mats, but when she got into the bath it was apparent that he had large & small mats all over his coat & between his paw pads. She called to tell me it would be an increase in price to remove the mats, or I could have him shaved to removed them. I appreciated being given the option, and as glad I chose to have them removed. He looks so handsome! Just like a Bernedoodle should look. He was calm and happy when I picked him up, not anxious at all. We've already booked his next appointment for a bath & brush to keep the mats away. I couldn't give a higher review. This grooming salon is clean, the staff is professional and friendly & Hilda is a very talented groomer. So glad to have connected with Homeboy Puppy Fades & Hilda! read more

Just took our 7 month old puppy to Homeboy Puppy Fades and we are so pleased by our experience! Everyone was so kind, seemed to love dogs. Unhappy with the service. I understand my dog had some parts of her coat matted but I specifically stated that I did not want to come back to pick her up and she would be a completely different dog. If the groomer felt that's the only thing he could do, I highly suggest they call the owner and let them know that's the last resort. Also, I was charged an additional $100 for cutting off her coat.Total cost $250. I was never warned of this additional cost until I picked her up. I did not appreciate the groomer laughing/giggling the whole time while speaking to him. Never will I be back again. read more
