Review for self service bathing. I made an appointment online thinking there was only one station available. Upon arriving, turns out there was about 5 self serve stations. If you aren't able to make an appointment, it's first come first serve. The pricing is dependent on weight of your dog. As a first timer, the front desk person was nice and helpful. Staff were also kind and showed us the ropes. One thing to note is that conditioner is not readily available (only shampoo) so be sure to ask for conditioner if you need it. Self service station basics include shampoo, two towels, a few combs, and a blow dryer. Water pressure is good and has a hose attachment so you can change the nozzle settings. The water temperature was warm and the blow dryer was warm. I wish the blow dryer had the attachment to focus the air so my dog could get dryer faster but not too bad. Will definitely be back for self serve bathing and maybe try out grooming. read more

I always walked passed this place since I work across the street from here. I recent got myself a little fur baby and his nails were driving me crazy. I decided to look this place up online and they have several services. One of which was nail trimming, EXACTLY was I was looking for! I was tired of getting assaulted by my little bundle of joy and decided to booked a last min appointment. It was so easy to book an appointment online. The nail trimming was only $10. I took him in and he was in and out of there within 5 mins. The staff here are so great and so friendly. They have self washing services, which I have yet to try. The poor communication at this place created such an unpleasant experience that I can't recommend this place to anyone who likes to know where there dog is. They told me they would text and call. They only texted to both our surprise it didn't go through. When asking about it they just said check if I blocked them. I had them call and it went through there. I asked why they did not call they said they would put it in our notes. They had my dog and I had to call to confirm, be put on hold only to get no accountability or sorry about the distress of leaving my dog in a cage for a longer period of time. The hair cut is okay, it would have been worth it if they had said sorry but the lady working did not want to admit anything she did wrong gave snarky tone like I was annoying her making me feel my concern as to why I wasn't called as well was invalid. Extremely frustrated with how they treat mess ups. DO NOT GO HERE!!! read more

I visited this establishment to bathe my dogs, and my experience left much to be desired. The older man behind the counter was neither friendly nor welcoming. There were two young boys, possibly his children, who were very helpful and showed me where everything was. When I asked for gloves, the older man responded quite rudely, saying they didn't have any. As I was about to go to my car to get some, he yelled, "Well, you can borrow some this time." This left me confused since gloves are typically discarded after use. The whole interaction gave me a strange vibe. At checkout, he loudly asked about the tip. I told him I intended to give it in cash, wanting to hand it directly to the boys. He insisted on taking it himself and putting it to the side. I hope he actually gave it to them. Overall, I won't be returning. ***UPDATE TO OWNERS RESPONSE*** Hello Maria: Thank you for your response...I appreciate your perspective, but I assure you that my review was an honest account of my experience. I indeed did request gloves before beginning the service. The elderly man informed me that gloves are not provided, and only after I mentioned I would go to my car to get some, did he offer to let me "borrow" a pair . I will say it again- this elderly man was neither welcoming nor friendly the moment I walked in. Its ok. if gloves are not included...it was the way he communicated it to me : rudely and then expected them back after I used them! I'm sorry my review was not to your liking but its my honest review of my personal experience. Regarding volunteers Boys- I did mention they were very helpful and wonderful which is why I wanted to give THEM the tip! I encourage you to review the video again and confirm the elderly man did ask about the tip. The first person who meets your customers can make or break a business, I'm very supportive of small businesses in my community. Its unfortunate that when a customer posts an honest review you attempt to discredit customer by implying review is misleading and that its an attempt to harm your business. Came in for self-service a few times. The most recent time, I noticed there is no specification for bathing one dog per service window (45 mins). I booked a small dogs (under 30 lbs; and yes, it says dogs) slot, and washed both of my dogs in 40 minutes. Upon leaving, the owner (?) told me I had to pay for my second dog. When I told him it didn't say that the 45min slot was for only one dog anywhere on the website or in the location, he told me that "rationally" that was a ridiculous expectation of me to have, and by my logic I could wash 10 dogs in the 45 minute window. I repeated that it was confusing, and he continued to lambaste my apparent idiocy instead of just telling me the policy and to follow it in the future. He asked if I had a card, I said no, and he said that he would notate I would have to pay the $18 if I ever came back (so, almost $40 for using the station for 40 minutes for two 15 lb dogs, even though a one-dog per session policy isn't notated anywhere). Not remotely worth the $18. As a young woman, being treated this way by an older man is incredibly old. What isn't rational is treating a repeat customer like they're an idiot when your policy isn't clear, and losing that customer over $18 (when I would have continued to come and spent much more than that). Now, I don't recommend it to my friends, and won't be returning. read more

We took our dog nephew to get groomed here and it was a quick and simple process. We made an appointment online, paid a deposit and then dropped him off at his scheduled time the next day. We left for about an hour and they gave us a call when he was finished. He was so excited when it was time to leave and smelled great! read more

AWFUL PLACE! Not going back there. I wanted one of my 2 dog to get full service, but because he is an advanced geriatric dog with many psychological issues including very severe separation anxiety, I wanted to be present and they said "No because only staff is allowed at the back" where the bathing takes place. So I asked if the bath could be done by one of their staff EXCEPT at the front where customers wash their own dogs (since the back is off to customers), but they said I could not pay for full service unless it's done at the back where I cannot go; if I want it done at the front I have to do it myself. They didn't have an actual reason, but said that was against their policy. Good old policies. Got to love them. Clearly their policy is bad customer service because I have had dogs for 40 years and I have never dealt with a vet or a groomer this inflexible. This should have been allowable especially that I would have paid the full price, even more if they wanted a surplus. BUT NO! I'm no longer taking my other dog there either. My other dog is an actual service dog and I'm autistic, and clearly this place cannot be trusted if they have to hide their work and don't even want you to see how the groomers perform their job. I don't know what they have to hide in the back or what their groomers might do that would upset me if I saw them do it in front of me, but clearly that places is trying to hide something. I've lost complete trust in them. Also, I had complained about the grates that are very uncomfortable for my dog's toes in the self-wash area. They had said they would change those, but I checked last time I was there and they never changed them. Btw, if your looking for an EXCELLENT self-dog-wash, try Pet Food Express, on Lake. The baths themselves there are much easier for dogs to get in and out of and the area is open and much more comfortable to work in that the little cramped dog baths they have at Bathe-R-Doggies. PFE is much better for washing your own large dog. read more

We have taken our puppy here twice. The first time was his first ever groom and we wanted to take him to a small place that wouldn't be as stressful for him. They told us he was antsy and moved a lot, but understood because it was his first haircut ever. His haircut was great then and was exactly what we asked for. This most recent time, I called in the morning and they were able to take Luca in on the same day. This was such a pleasant surprise, especially since it has been so hot outside and our dog's hair was getting too long. The haircut was great, and they addressed the one concern we had about the length quickly! I would definitely recommend this place. From my experience, they care a lot about your dog and are very accommodating. We plan on taking Luca here as long as we live in the area. read more

A lot of options in the area and this one is on the lower end of what other places offer. Just 1-2 brushes/combs at each tub (other facilities have baskets full of options - to help with different dog's coats) and the staff here just hands you 1 bottle of shampoo (other facilities offer various shampoos & conditioners to choose from). Staff here does not interact with you when you self-bathe your dog - to see if you need anything or ask if you know how to use the equipment. Other facilities are friendly & try to get to know your dog. One plus, the water pressure is good, water comes out at a comfortable temperature & you can wash your dog pretty quickly here. read more

I am SO HAPPY with Midi's groom!!! As a previous stray, my foster dog was pretty icky when I brought her in (both fur and attitude wise). The groomer was so patient and kind to her, even though she was a tough customer- I don't think she's ever been groomed before! To say I am blown away with the results is an understatement!! I didn't have a good experience. I brought my pup in for grooming and bathing. Upon pick up I was told that my puppy was difficult and had been biting. I apologized and tipped extra because I felt bad. When I was handed my puppy he was acting very subdued. I noticed a watery eye and as the day progressed it grew cloudier and I started to see discharge. I called Bathe R Doggie to asked if anything had happened to him and they said all they used on his eyes was Oatmeal Shampoo as I requested. I ended up taking him to the ER and he was given eyedrops to treat an infection with the possibility of a cornea injury. I understand that puppies can be difficult and that they can nibble when they feel uncomfortable and if something is new to them, and for this reason I deliberately informed the front desk receptionist at drop off that if there were any issues at any point they could call me. I never received a call throughout the process, instead I received a complaint upon pick up, and when I called to ask what happened after noticing watery and discharge in the eye, I cannot be sure I was told the full story. I am very disappointed. I expect that if there was an issue with my dog at any point or if he was found too difficult that service would be stopped, and I would be called, instead of have the servicer proceed to groom/bathe him, and possibly even injure his eye. I cannot recommend this place. read more

I took my long hair Chihuahua to be groomed and they didn't shave her hair at all. They were very busy and I don't feel I was given the proper attention. They bathed my baby and only cut a inch off her tail and her buttocks area and that was it. She keeps itching her ears because her hair is too long and it bothers her. I thought when you take your dog to be grilled they groom her which includes cutting the hair? Am I wrong? I think I wasted my money. I could have given her a bath myself. read more

Why does Bathe R Doggie not have 5 stars? I've taken my puppy Kona here since for almost a year every 4-6 weeks and have never had a single problem. Since she's a cocker spaniel, I have to get her groomed regularly and they make sure to take care of all of the details. It's really easy to book an appointment on their online system, I always get a phone call when they are finished (usually 1-2 hours), and she walks out looking so clean and gorgeous. She's also not scared when we go in so I feel really good about how they treat her when she's in there. I've been to a few other dog grooming places before and there's a reason why I only bring her to Bathe R Doggie. Highly recommend! (Plus they add different bows to her hair and she looks so adorable!) read more
