I've been taking my poodle to Candice Spa since he was a puppy. He is now almost 3 years old. I picked out this groomer before we even picked up our puppy since I read that poodles needed to be groomed often. Melinda is very sweet. You can tell that she loves dogs and has a lot of experience with them. My poodle comes home smelling so clean and I love that I get a picture when I'm notified that he is ready to be picked up. I get compliments often about how well groomed my poodle is. Melinda has also been helpful in teaching me how to improve my skills in brushing and combing him (that is a work in progress!). I took my dog to Candice Spaw for a basic grooming (bath with no haircut), and was amazed at what an incredible groom she received. I can honestly say it was the best grooming one of my dogs has ever received in all of the years I've taken my dogs for professional grooming. Bringing your dog to Candice Spaw is like the difference between going to a regular car wash and taking your car to be professionally detailed - the care and attention to detail my dog received was clearly evident. She's a tri-color border collie, and her whites were literally gleaming, her ears and teeth were super clean (she even trimmed the hair around the openings of my dog's ears and around her paw pads), and she also received a blueberry facial skin treatment. The salon is extremely clean, and the owner took time to give me a tour before the first appointment. She is kind and gentle with the animals.
