Zuko loves coming here - when we say "do you want to go to DAYCARE?" he gets so excited. Things that we like: - walking distance from us! - competitive pricing - in addition to daycare, you can get your dog groomed (very convenient) - I like that I can text to let them know we're coming to drop off/pick up, and also to see if there are grooming appointments available - we get a few photos - convenient hours on the weekdays Things that could use some improvement: - I wish that the hours on Saturday were longer and that they were open on Sunday - I wish there was a little more structure and mental stimulation activities- sometimes these kind of daycare environments can be a bit much. We lived in New Orleans for 3 months while my partner was working and the daycare we used had a great structure that included nap / alone time in the middle of the day. - I wish there were pricing bundles for daycare + grooming or some kind of spa bundles that helped made the pricing discounted Overall, we've had a good experience and love bringing him back.

I have a pit bull mix terrier and I thought I'd give it a shot! Cageless? Lots of places for my puppy to roam? Yes sign us up please! I brought my pup for an evaluation, got to learn more about the resort, toured the facility and then brought her back for another evaluation cause #separationanxiety. Her not me! I watched her on the webcams (so many!) and she did great! Lots of shade options for her and lots of pups for her to be around. It was nice to see her socialize! She passed and I felt really great about her experience. Upon arrival and departure, all very secure. The team was great and I can't wait to see how she does after her first overnight experience. Walks and outings were stressful because I was constantly worried about how he would react. From the very beginning, Emily was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping both of us succeed. Greyson has completed private training sessions and a board and train with Emily and her team, and the progress has been incredible. One of the biggest improvements has been in his reactivity. Since working with Emily, he has become much more focused, calmer, and better able to work through situations that would have previously triggered a reaction. Not only has his reactivity improved, but his obedience, confidence, and overall behavior have as well. What I liked most was that Emily didn't just work with Greyson. She also took the time to explain things to us and show us how to continue the training at home. What I appreciated most was that Emily was honest about the process. She didn't promise overnight results or a quick fix. Instead, she gave us a clear plan, realistic expectations, and the tools we needed to continue helping Greyson succeed. She was always available to answer questions and support us throughout the process. The dogs came back traumatized and their behavior was worse. She was not able to improve any behaviors and the dogs were in kennels for most of the days and i received maybe two pictures. Even though they had wounds on them and I did not want to pay the entire amount she wouldn't give my dogs back to me until I paid nearly $10,000 It was insane. I was very sick at the time with a pressure sore, unable to travel and trying to get back home. She did not care. I used to live in the neighborhood as well. It was one of the worst experiences and my dogs are now markedly worse. I could leave negative stars. I would do not leave your dogs here. They're just in a kennel being neglected.

The first couple times we used Sitter4Paws we had a really great experience with the sitters that were assigned to our senior, diabetic cat. Last year, my mother unexpectedly passed away, and our regular cat sitter was unavailable for half of the trip home. We booked Sitter4Paws the second half of the trip, and let them know about the circumstances and requested sitters that had seen Jodie before so that we could rest easy during a very difficult time. Of course we know that can't always be accommodated due to scheduling, so for the first visit a new sitter came to see Jodie. On the evening of my mother's passing, we got a text from Sitter4Paws that the sitter felt he may have made a mistake with our cat's insulin dosage. It was revealed to us that instead of giving her her normal 2.25 unit dose, he gave her 22.5 units - ignoring the taped off/labeled syringes, our explicit written instructions in the app, and additional photos/diagrams of what a full syringe should look like. Thank god he realized his mistake, otherwise our cat would have slowly died alone in our apartment - and this would have happened immediately after losing my mom. I understand mistakes can happen, but the fact that a sitter was uncertain with potentially life-threatening medication if administered improperly and didn't even think to reach out to us first was quite shocking. Sitter4Paws took full responsibility, admitted their mistake, said they would take steps to make sure something like this would never happen again, and covered her 4 day ER stay, but it never should have gotten to that point. Again - we did have great sitters who took care of our cat wonderfully - but the uncertainty of who you can get especially with medication involved means that we can no longer recommend this service with confidence.

WARNING ABOUT BOOKING WITH CHARLIE…read more I don't typically post reviews but I felt that it was important to post this one. This interaction happened a couple months ago in April. We met in person at their place and everything looked great. We were really excited to have our cats with Charlie, so we gave them our deposit. They requested 50% up front, we respected their request and gave them $321.75 out of $643.50 for 11 days for 2 cats. A couple days later, I had received a panicked message from Charlie asking for $100 more on top of that due to an emergency they were having, stating that it was urgent. This was very concerning behavior. We know nothing about Charlie and asking us for more money seemed very suspicious. It makes no sense to ask your clients to help with personal, financial struggles, especially when we had just given them $321.75! We felt uneasy about this, so we asked for our money back and they refused to return it. Be careful. We were not expecting this kind of behavior and request from someone with a 5 star review on yelp. This is very concerning behavior and we were worried there may be more requests for more money once our cats were in their possession. We attempted to settle this in our messages, but unfortunately Charlie did not see their request and behavior as a problem, and refused to give us our money, leaving us with the only option to write this review. We still have not received our money and considering this a lesson learned. UPDATE: Note for Charlie's response, this is not at all what happened in our exchanges. I'm not sure if they are recalling a conversation with a different customer, but there was no mention of a request for donation at all. Since Charlie sees no issues with this behavior, it's fair that they stand behind it here. I've attached screenshots as proof of their error.
