Walking on the beach with Chickpea

We adopted a 7month old Pekingese and were overwhelmed. We took him to Emily for boarding and training and he is now the perfect puppy who is fun and silly and yet he listens to our commands, he's great on a leash and he's an absolute joy to be around. This training was exactly what we needed!! Also, Emily was thorough in teaching us, she also followed up and checked in for months. You will not be disappointed.

Emily's k9 training has changed our family forever. We rescued a Pomeranian that had a major fear and aggression issues. She used to lunged at children if they moved too fast- nightmare! After training we have a completely new dog, not only can we take her anywhere but I believe she is much happier and has gotten over her fear. She's an absolute dream dog now and I feel Emily has a true gift with dogs and it shows.

Emily is training my dog Roxy to be a service animal to assist me with my severe anxiety and the trauma responses I have. It is a worthwhile investment and I highly recommended Emily and her team. She has a great setup for boarding and for training and I saw a huge difference in Roxy's obedience within the first few sessions. I signed up for the training package she offered and I could not be happier. I get compliments everywhere I go about how well behaved Roxy is.

Our dog has improved so much thanks to Emily and her team! Walks are a breeze, our dog listens more, and his manners have improved a ton. The tools and advice Emily gave us have made our lives so much easier. Plus, she's always available if we have any questions, which is such a bonus!! The best experience I could have ever imagined.

This is my boy Appa right after we got him. He is a cream colored golden retriever.

Emily was very professional gentle with my new puppy. He is eight months old now and he loves going to Emily's house. I cannot recommend her enough.

Emily has provided an amazing service for our dog Rolo. He had aggression and anxiety issues. Through training with me and during boarding while we've taken trips, Rolo's behavior has changed for the better. He has become a very loving member of our family. I cannot say enough about Emily. She is amazing.

Emily trained my Dutch Shepherd, Kenai, over a period of 12 sessions and about four months. She is adept at training you and the dog together. My 1 year old Dutch Shepherd weighing in at 70lbs is now a model dog that listens and obeys and walks well on leash. You can trust that Emily will rehab your unruly pet and train you in the knowledge to keep your dog happy, focused, and obedient through positive reinforcement. I will be returning to her for more sessions to learn tricks and agility training. She is well worth the time, cost and investment.

Emily did a great job teaching Kirby, our 2 year old lab/retriever rescue, walk better and mind us better. He's a sweet and VERY energetic guy who loved Emily and is even better. Emily also taught us tips and tricks to lead Kirby. Thanks, Emily!

Nova is stoked to be going to train with Emily!

Emily probably saved my marriage. Our family adopted our Pit Bull/Chihuahua, Nova a few years ago and were in deep denial of her need for real training. Nova is probably 6 or 7 years old now. She's an older momma with plenty of time on the street and the emotional baggage to go with it. Some call it "reactive" and "anxious" but to our family and everyone in the neighborhood, it looked like an aggressive and uncontrolled mess. Nova barked at anything that moved and was nearly impossible to walk. Finally, after too many arguments with my wife, we called in the pros. Well, not Emily at first. We went through two other trainers and an online course (and three times as many books) until I found Emily. She stood out among the other phone interviews as having a firm but patient approach, and she was straightforward about the amount of effort she expected from me. That's when I could tell she was serious. It wasn't something I could completely outsource, and she showed me how - and why - to have a real bond with Nova that resulted in a complete transformation. We trained Nova once a week for several months at Emily's awesome facility in Tujunga. Nova is a completely different dog now in the best way. There is a trust between us that we built through structure and communication that was not there before. Emily is the only trainer who even tried to create that for us. Nova was reacting out of fear and uncertainty as well as a lack of understanding of what I expected as the leader. Once we got that all figured out, Nova started to chill out and it's been constant improvement since. She seems so much happier now that she doesn't feel the need to be on edge all the time. It's true that a lot of the "training" is teaching the person what to do and being disciplined about the work. Some of the other trainers and approaches I tried wanted to make it seem like I wouldn't have to do any work. That's just not logical. It's a good sales pitch, but it's not going to work. Once Emily showed me some basics and gave me the confidence to know that we could help Nova get what she needs to not be anxious all the time, it was realtively easy. Yeah, it took repetition and changing our habits, but that's how stuff works. You put in the work and you get the results. We got the results. It's insane how much happier Nova and my wife are now. Nova sees other dogs and instead of going apes**t, she looks at me, sits, and calmly waits for my reaction. It was a good amount of work, but it's all worth it. There have been so many time that people have stopped me in the neighborhood and said, "Wow, she's so GOOD now!" It's awesome! Thank you, Emily!

Their…read moreprofessionalism and communication gives me comfort knowing that the best care for our pets is number one. When you have your first meet and greet, you have the privilege of meeting the owner and the petsitter at your residence. We take quite a few trips, and now Pet Care of SC have it down pat on what to do during hot/cold days, normal days, giving them pet meds, walks, and they even take care of your mail, trash days, take in your packages, etc! Your home and pets are taken care of while you are gone, now that's great service! I met the sitters that come to our home. They are kind, responsible and they enjoy our pets. You can book service for your pets through an app, or online. If you have any questions about it, Suzie is always happy to accommodate and help you with that too. The Pet Care Club of Santa Clarita has great rates! At the end of the trip, I like to give the sitters a tip for their time and gas. It's just a suggestion, not a requirement. I highly recommend this company! Suzie is warm, and her team is fantastic! Thumbs way up! Great job, PCCOSC!!!

She went above and beyond with updates, photos, and messages that gave me so much peace of mind while I was out of the country for almost two weeks. Vanessa came to my house to check in on my extremely shy and very skittish cat, who refuses to leave the house under any circumstances. Anyone who has met my cat knows she does not trust easily, but Vanessa was patient, calm, and respectful of her space. She still managed to connect enough to make sure she was fed, cared for, and feeling secure. The regular updates were beyond appreciated, I loved knowing she was in such thoughtful hands. Both of them consistently sent me updates, which I truly valued, especially being out of the country for nearly two weeks. Traveling is stressful enough, and having sitters I completely trusted made all the difference. If you need boarding or in-home sitting for pets with big personalities, or tiny terrified ones, you're in the best hands with Suzie and Vanessa. Thank you both for the love, attention, and reassurance. I will absolutely be booking again!

I cannot say enough good things about bouquet kennels. What…read morean absolute blessing it is to have a safe space for my Luna. We rescued Luna in February. And soon came to learn a couple of things about her. 1-she was a jumper 2- she has pretty severe separation anxiety. For the first couple of months, I took her almost everywhere with me. When I couldn't take her, there were times when I had to struggle to make arrangements for her. As mentioned with the jumping and the separation anxiety, the arrangements would have to be very specific. Making sure that it was with people I could trust. Which usually meant Family because they would be the most available. Well, when there was family events, it was even harder for me to figure out what I would do with her. I knew that a very close family friend regularly uses bouquet kennels. So I spoke with her about them. She said amazing things and highly recommended. So I reached out online and let me just say they were amazing from the beginning. Incredibly receptive and Patient especially with my many questions. I was able to get Luna in for an overnight within two days of first reaching out. Of course, when I came time to drop her off, I was incredibly anxious and worried about leaving Luna. That anxiety and worry started to fade the minute I pulled up and Jessica and Kayleah came out to greet us. Within minutes, I was secure a confident in the choice to bring Luna to Bouquet kennels. I was able to go and spend an entire day out with my family and not worry once. Of course, I thought about Luna and hoped she was doing OK but I didn't have to worry at all. I knew not only was she safe and secure, but she was being loved and cared for. When I arrived the next morning to pick up Luna, I was given a wonderful report about her. And again, I must stress that I knew Luna had had a great experience. In speaking with Jessica and Kayleah I learned that bouquet kennels accepts dogs of all temperaments. I think that's wonderful. I know that all dogs have different personalities and some of them are not as easy others. And knowing that there's a place that accepts those that aren't so easy is such a relief. Every pup should have a safe place to go where they will be accepted. I cannot recommend Bouquet Kennels enough. Needless to say, I will be using them whether it's for the day, overnight, or multiple nights. It is such a gift to have a wonderful safe space for my dog. Thank you Bouquet kennels!!
