A few things were non-negotiable for me: cage-free grooming, high-quality shampoo and conditioner, and a groomer who would work on Ethel right away instead of having her hang out all day waiting for her turn. Like many dogs, Ethel gets the jitters when she arrives for her appointment. The good news is that the staff understands her anxiety and handles her with patience and kindness. Once she's on the grooming table, she's calm, cooperative, and apparently an all-star client! After speaking with Narineh, I felt confident giving them a try. They did an amazing job, and their prices are some of the best around. Fast forward a year, and Ethel is now a regular with Chloe. Chloe always takes the time to listen to exactly how I'd like Ethel groomed, and she consistently delivers. It's such a great feeling picking up a happy, fresh-looking pup every time. Their new location is a little farther for me, but it's in a convenient strip mall with plenty of free parking and lots of nearby shops, making it easy to knock out a few errands while Ethel enjoys her spa day. So when she has fleas I could see them right away! At first Mr. Arsen might come off as rude but many don't understand that his rudeness comes from when the dogs aren't being taken care of correctly by their owners since he genuinely cares about them. My dogs teeth were in bad shape, he was a recent rescue so you can only imagine. But Mr. Arsen definitely knows what his doing. I've never seen my dog so clean after the groomers. He charged a fair fee and was very nice and knowledgeable. It wasn't a rush of "bring your dog in, give me your money and go" it was more of him educating me on how to take care of my dog.
