I just wanna say that Sam the groomer has a lot of heart for what he does to deal with different dogs on a day in and day out. as he pulled up to my house and he met up with my dog. They hit it off very well, he took very good care of him went over and beyond he enjoyed playing with my dog. I was willing to spend a premium price for my puppy to not wait so long at the groomer's, but I would not recommend this place for the quality of work done. His cut is choppy and uneven all over, mouth/lip area not groomed (still had crusty hairs stuck to his lip), ears cut into this weird triangular shape when I specifically said not to cut the ears, front legs are fluffy but hind legs are shaved down shorter, paw pads semi trimmed, nails still long. The groomer was, however, trying to justify the choppiness and unevenness of the cut and the long nails to "not wanting the puppy to hate grooming"--which I get.. But for $220 (without tip), this is what we get? For a $50 cut, maybe. For $220, absolutely unacceptable. So upset, I can't wait for his hair to grow so I can take him elsewhere. read more

He finally gave the dog to me and I didn't want to take him to a chain store to be groomed. He arrived on time and was very gentle and patient getting to know my little guy. Bow-WOW! My first time using a mobile dog groomer, and what an amazing experience. My seven-year-old poodle mix (rescued six years ago from the Riverside County Animal Shelter) is the sweetest guy ever, but hates grooming, clipping, combing, nail clipping and all the other beauty stuff. The last groomer I tried had Prince in a cage for an hour before they called me. So when things got out of hand, I hit up my trusty Yelp app for the Burbank area, and Breezy Paw was consistently at the top. Total agreement here! I texted with groom-whisperer Sam and he responded right away with a cost estimate, date and time for grooming confirmed. He arrived on schedule in a fancy looking van, and got down on the ground to bond with my furball and took him for a walk! They entered the grooming chamber together and I got a text about 45 minutes later that a beautiful dog awaited. Sam is a sweetheart who loves dogs and it shows. Poodles/poodle mixes are notoriously difficult to groom as their fur mats so easily (but they don't shed). Some grooming shops even have signs in the window "NO POODLES." Sam took his time and gave us the lamb cut I wanted. Be prepared for some sticker shock if you're used to local grooming shops. Honestly, Sam went above and beyond for Duke and I. He really took his time getting to know Duke and explained to me his methods of grooming for first time clients. Duke loves treats and fell in love with Sam's patience and understanding. Duke was banned from PetSmart for being "anxious" and "aggressive." Sam is a very special person! I was very apprehensive about having our reactive, adopted dog once again be groomed. All of the previous grooming attempts were traumatic for our dog, Benny, and myself. In each case the groomers said that Benny was impossible to groom and they made it clear that they didn't want Benny back. But, I decided to give it one more try. I scoured Yelp for any groomers who had experience working with reactive dogs. The reviews for Breezy gave me some hope. I called Breezy and explained that Benny was a reactive dog and asked if he would be willing to work with him. Sam said that would be no problem. I asked if I should muzzle Benny to which Sam said that wouldn't be necessary, much to my surprise! Sam told me that I should walk Benny to his truck, and basically leave the rest to Sam. After about 5 minutes they became friends and raport was established. From a distance I watched Benny willing enter the truck. About an hour later Sam walked Benny to the front of our house, both of them looking like old friends. Benny never looked more handsome with his beautiful, freshly washed and brushed coat. I cannot say enough great things about Sam. He not only gave Benny the best grooming ever, he proved to be a master dog handler, making what could have been a very traumatic experience for dog and owner, a beautiful experience.
