Where to begin with this business? Absolutely the WORST experience I have ever had before. Do not trust your pets here!! God forbid if anything happens to them, they will take no blame and put all responsibility on you. I took Bella here for 5 days during Christmas for day care. When I picked her up, I noticed at home that her ear was pink (her ears have always been white) and also something looks like it's choking her. I see a bandana that they put on so tight it's rolled up and squeezing on her neck. It was so tight I couldn't even fit my finger under it. I had to cut it off with a scissor. Her pink ear was also very alarming to me so I called Nuria right away and told her about this. She admitted to me and said that a Rottweiler that was also at day care was playing with Bella and drooled in her ear and that's probably what caused it. I asked her what my next step was and she said to take her to her vet. She said her vet wouldn't charge a consultation fee so I made an appointment. A few days before her appointment, I called her vet to confirm and they told me they would charge me a fee. I called Nuria and told her about this and she said she never said I wouldn't have to pay (she is lying). I told her that I want to take her to the vet so we can confirm if it is an ear infection or not and if she can either pay for her medical bills or just give me a refund for the day care. She said that it says in the waiver she can't take any responsibility for what happens to our pet and that we would have to pay for everything ourselves. I told her that for sure she got the infection at the day care because she hasn't been around any other dogs or any moisture weeks prior. She kept talking over me and was denying everything and was borderline threatening me repeatedly saying that our conversation was being recorded. Why would I care? I know I'm speaking the truth! She tells me that when we take her to my vet, to send her the medical report and she will try to consider paying for it but it's not guaranteed again "according to her waiver". I take Bella to the vet and the test comes back positive for an ear infection and also positive for yeast. For the swab and medication, my vet bill comes out to $155. I call and tell her all this and she tells me to have the vet email it to her and she'll look over it. The next day I follow up with her and she said she wants to call the vet for some questions. The next day I follow up again. She tells me she is busy and to stop "harassing her". As the days pass, I call and text every single day and she ignores them all and never gets back to me. After almost a week and a half has passed, on Friday, i show up at their business to speak with Nuria in person. I speak with her associate and she tells me Nuria is out on break but she is on her way back and to wait in my car. Within 15 minutes, I see the same associate looking at me then go back in the business and Nuria's husband comes out to lock the door so I can no longer go inside. I called the business phone 3 times and knocked on the door and got no answer. The next day, I get a call from a random number and I get a voicemail from her husband. I call him back and we again spoke on this issue. Him and Nuria are basically saying the same thing - denying all responsibility, saying no way it can happen at their day care , that they shouldn't have to pay and also he starts making up random reasons why she could Have gotten an infection which are all irrelevant. He tells me he wants to speak to the vet and will get back to me the next day. I get a call from him this morning and he said all they can offer is a free grooming and will not give me a refund or pay for Bella's vet bill. He again goes on to deny everything and gives me stupid reasons of how the infection could have happened. I hung up the phone on him. My fiancé Jaime wrote a Yelp review as well and Nuria responds (which is crazy because she said she was busy to even text or call me back). Nuria responded blasting my name and also LIES saying I said "Bring it on" and that she will pay for the vet bill LOL what I actually said was "if you want to make this difficult, let's make It difficult". these people are completely insane and all they do is lie lie and LIE. All they care about is their ego and money. They do not care about your pets. Please do not take your pets here!! If anything happens to them, you will be completely screwed dealing with that I'm dealing with. Read other people's Yelp reviews and see how she responds!! This isn't the first time this has happened and they don't know how to handle it like professional business owners.
