IF YOUR FURBABY IS DOUBLE COATED PLEASE READ THIS!!! Vey disappointed in this grooming salon. I will say Annie is very kind upon reaching out trying to win your business, however the dog groomer that was assigned to my fur baby FUCKED UP HER HAIR ON 12/08/25! (I don't remember her name, else I'd share here) I write this in caps because that is truly how I feel. My baby is an Australian Shepherd and she is double coated. I asked the dog groomer to only cut half an inch and she repeated after me in agreement. When I picked up my baby from the salon her beautiful hair was GONE! Upon looking closely, the dog groomer also left some areas patchy and uneven. Never had my dog ever received a haircut like this kind. I've taken my baby to several groomers. Annie was kind and reached out via phone call which led me to schedule an appointment right then and there. I regret this decision, now I am concerned whether her hair will grow back the same without any issues, if not choppy, and I have to make sure she is wearing her sweaters so that she isn't cold this winter and her body adjusts. When I first entered the salon, I was very trusting since everyone seemed so kind. My furbaby was jumping all over me reaching up to my shoulders and licking my face so I couldn't really look at the haircut. I had to return to work quickly so I paid and walked my dog out. As we walked out I began taking a better look and was in disbelief at how short they had cut her hair. I went back and the receptionist acknowledged her hair was too short but then tried to push back and say there wouldn't be any issues with her coat after she talked to the dog groomer to "find out what happened." Of course the groomer was not going to mention any issues, she did not want to admit to any wrongdoing. After being persistent with my dissatisfaction and concerns, she processed my refund, although I had to wait for a couple of minutes (10-15 mins) for her to receive approval to process the refund. It's truly not fair. Now I have to wait MONTHS to find out if my furbaby's hair will grow back the same :( If you truly care about your dogs double coat and wellbeing I would look elsewhere. It's possible that they do a better job with single coated furbabies, but I WOULD NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR DOUBLE COATED BABY. I am VERY picky about how my dogs are groomed, and I have one dog that is very sensitive and will react by chasing his but in anxious circles for days if a groomer isn't just right for him. So, I read reviews, and interviewed 5 different groomers in the Glendale area, and finally decided on Pet Haven after speaking with Abby. So glad I chose them! We had two dogs for a full grooming, and a third doggie who just needed a nail trim. On top of all the prep, the fires hit the area with electricity outages and evacuations, so we needed to reschedule twice before we got there! How do I even start this off... We have been taking our 2 babies here for I want to say around 9 months now and words cannot explain how much we love it here! The first few times I was just amazed at how well they take care of all the animals and how talented they are and just knew this is where we were going to keep bringing going them. I have two dogs, one Maltipoo named truffle (14lbs) and a toy poodle named mochi (7.5lbs). Every single time they come home from the groomers I want to just squish them because of how cute they are. Now, on a more serious note, truffle and mochi are so well groomed when they come here that it honestly makes every other grooming salon look bad. when truffle was a puppy, we took him to another salon and he just didn't look right as if the groomer didn't know how to take care of poodles coat and he didn't come out right but the second we brought them here to pet Haven they were able to give exactly what we had asked for. Also, they are so gentle with the dogs to the point that even if we want to bathe them at home, they are no longer terrified of getting wet and blow dried like how they were when they went to a different grooming place. Amazing service!!! My dog Sophie got a bad case of fleas, and Pet Haven was the only place that was able to take her in last minute. They were super informative and helpful and listened to all my requests about her haircut! They also recommended their mud bath service for her, which was perfect since she also has bad allergies that cause a lot of itchiness for her. Her skin was irritated, flaky, and itchy. It also killed all her fleas! She usually hates baths and is ALWAYS crying, shaking, and jumping, but they actually sent me an update video in the middle of her mud bath and I've never seen her so relaxed! Total came out to around $125 since I went with the mud bath and they had to file her nails. If your doggy is itchy, I definitely recommend the mud bath. Her coat was so soft after as well, definitely worth the $20. She is usually a nervous wreck but when I picked her up she was so happy and wagging her tail! I used to be a dog nanny and still sometimes take care of dogs. When I do, I like to get them a bath and blow dry before taking them home. It's been really hard finding a pet groomer that I can trust with the fur babies. I've tried a lot of groomers in the Burbank area that have charged me from $40-$70 for just a bath and blow dry. No haircut or any other services. Unfortunately, some of them were really bad that traumatized my dogs. That's not what I want and I'm willing to pay the amount that fits the service. I stuck with a groomer that charged $70 for bath, nail trim, ear clean, expression of anal glands and blow dry. The only thing I didn't like is that the dogs are in a back room. I can't see them and that gives me anxiety. Also, they relocated and I didn't want to make the drive over there. I came across Pet Haven and the staff is already a delight. Abby is super nice and I love the appt confirmation text and they were great about answering any of my questions. The groomer was really nice and my pup didn't hesitate to go with him. She lets me know when she doesn't feel safe and she completely felt safe and it helps that she's not hidden behind closed doors. She's out in the open and that really calms her. The other dogs looked great too. I didn't sense anxiety anywhere in that grooming Salon. It was a really good sign. They texted me that she'll be done soon if I wanted to head over. They had her in a cute little doggie house and she was so happy to see me and she was a very happy and non-traumatized dog lol. When we went outside, she even turned around to go back in. That gives me comfort. The price is steep for just a bath and blow dry (comes with ear clean, nail trim), but I get it, prices have gone up everywhere. I'm also willing to pay the price for my dog's safety and care. It was $90 minus discount for first time clients, with tip, it was close to $100. I've never paid that for a bath and blow dry but I really do appreciate how great that establishment is. I think I'll have to go to a self wash place here and there because it definitely does add up. But I still would recommend Pet Haven because they truly care about your fur babies read more

My fur baby is a senior now so it's really important to me that she is well taken care of and not left in a cage for hours, is treated with love (and caution) and of course feels comfortable with her groomer. For the price it was honestly not worth to get my two cats shaven there. It was way too expensive for the services we were given. They gave us a certain estimate but in the end the price almost doubled. They didn't even shave off the legs and only did the body. Again the shave a was good overall but not what we expected having that we paid for everything to be off (except the head obviously). They also trimmed both my cats nails WAYYYYYY too short that their nails are red which they shouldn't be. As professional groomers i expected them to know how to cut nails since i do better job at home. They also said our cats were flea free after the bath and shave BUT we come home to fleas still on them, having to give them another flea bath at home.
