Upon even the first minute walking into this bakery, I knew I'd be back. Why? The owner's reception, warmth, professionalism and care made me stay and the products will also have me coming back. Their freshly baked goods showcase themselves with the incredible smell, texture and taste. My first time there, I decided on the Chocolate Croissant and a Scone. The Croissant was stunningly baked flakey and crispy in all the right places with just the right amount of Chocolate drizzle. Scones are one of my top favourite pastries and this one was delectable. Fresh and crispy on the outside and moist and soft on the inside with each their own flavourings throughout. Quality bakeries are rare on the North Shore and I have been looking for one for a while. We picked up a Too Good to Go bag from Westview Bakery. Super impressed with what we got. Everything in the bag was bread, but we got sooo much of it! Very good value and I wouldn't hesitate to pick up another Too Good To Go bag from this bakery again. While I was there I took a quick look around at some of the other goods this bakery carries besides bread. I was pretty impressed with what I saw. Macarons, strudels, cakes, pies, and tarts were amongst the goods they carried. The cakes looked really good and by today's standards, I thought the prices were quite reasonable. Black Forest, Double Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Mousse Cake, Mocha Cake, and Blueberry Cheesecake were a few of the cakes I saw. The cheesecakes were $16.99 while the other cakes were $34.99. Don't know how it is that I'd never gone into this bakery before but I would definitely consider going there again sometime and buying something that isn't a Too Good to Go bag! read more

Walking past the bakery door there were two young women handing out samples of their products. Upon tasting I went in to make my first purchase . At the till I was offered a container of Pizza dough ( no Charge). This I took home and Made two Pizza's . I have been back and will continue to shop there as one could not ask for better service. read more

I was passing by while taking a walk around the area before driving a huge distance & noticed this to be one of the few places still open in the square. I was met by a friendly person & the purchase interaction was quick & simple. Bakery that seemed to have a wide range of options from take home snacks, light meal items, breads, buns, cakes, desserts & even pizza dough. I tried a samosa (he said it would most likely be medium heat to me as for Mediterranean taste it was mild heat level but I guess I have that level of heat tolerance?) & a chocolate croissant. Both were what I expected for filling & bakery item texture. I would definitely take more time to look at options if I get there earlier in the day as the light meal items & take home snacks were definitely a popular choice (very little left). I'm about to move airbnbs otherwise I would of tried a larger dessert or grabbed a loaf of bread. Things seemed at decent cost range. If you're in the area, I would consider going here before the grocery store if you're looking for baked goods & desserts. read more

Mediterranean panini: Roast beef, pickled onions, tomatoes, mustard and mayonnaise. Wtf. Granted, it was partly my fault that I didn't read the fine print underneath the name, but when you think 'Mediterranean', do any of those ingredients come to mind? This was the soggiest, most disgusting sandwich I'd ever taken a few bites of and then thrown out. It would be more accurate to call this a 'roast beef sandwich', and do a quick Google search to find out what Mediterranean actually means. Hint: None of the above. And definitely no mayo and mustard on a sandwich that's toasted! Gross. Now I understand why you have a return policy - had I not just caught a bus, I would have used it. read more

My friend bought me a cake from this place for my birthday. It was a chocolate raspberry cake. Let me just say it was so dry and awful tasting that no one out of my party of 15 could finish a piece! I bought a big box of assorted pastries (Big Mistake), I had to throw 2/3 of the box in garbage, be careful , they mix old pastries with fresh one; by old I mean very old, cracked, tough. I will never ever go there again. read more

This Persian-inspired bakery has great baklava and offer all kinds of baked items in their newly renovated space. You can taste chickpea flavor in their muffins, if you like something a little different. Great place for birthday cake orders. read more

We had a cake Disney Frozen ordered for our 4 year old daughter's birthday and it was incredible. They made it exactly how I wanted, and I didn't even have a picture to show them. They listened and made it beautifully. The staff were attentive and made sure they got every detail to my order. I came here once on the way to a Running Room clinic. I do see the irony of trying to get fit in combination with eating pastry. The minute that I walked in I noticed that the icing on some of the mini cakes were dry and cracking. Not a good sign. This is a sign that the cupcakes were prepared weeks ago and possibly either not refrigerated or too old. I have eaten day olds, weeks old before with no issue, however, for a bakery they should have some selling standards. I did buy a cookie that seemed okay but everything else looked as though it had sitting for a while. I make pastries as a hobby, therefore, can tell these things. Prices were reasonable which is why they scored an extra point. read more

I ordered a cake for my son's birthday. I put down a 20$ payment gave them my home and cell number. Go to the bakery to pick up the cake the day of and no cake. They denied that I ordered one. We were able to bring up our online banking and show the we had made the payment. Then they told us they did call us. I reviewed my call home and cell call display and they had not called, nor left a message. They refunded our money and that was about it. They should if given us a cake for free for making such a huge mistake. Very disappointing I will never use them again. After all you go to a bakery to do something special for someone. We got a vanilla and fruit birthday cake from westview bakery which was fresh, light and tasty. Every one loved it. I really like their cake pops,mango pie, cup cakes, lemon tart and chocolate chip cookies. Also we like their white bread. Their service is also wonderful. read more
