I have been a KWA customer since 2016 and have had KWA install ductless systems in two homes. The…read moremost recent was last summer 2025. Unfortunately I am extremely unhappy with how my ceilings were left after that installation. The KWA crew initially installed ductless heads WITH DUCTS into the ceiling in 3 places, and one of them was blocked by the closet. That one was moved, and the other 2 were corrected to being ductless. But this left large holes in my ceiling in 3 places. KWA had someone come by and fill the holes and paint the ones I had the paint for. The color was never right and the texture was never right for 3 places in the ceiling. For the last year I have lived with large non-textured spots in those places on my ceiling. My realtor recently came by and said they all look like I had poorly masked ceiling leaks and that leaving them as KWA left them would devalue my property because of presumed leaks. I need to now pay a company to come by and fix these 3 ceiling holes. These ceiling areas are not insubstantial, at least a square foot each. The disappointment and extra cost of this last project with KWA has caused me to lose faith in them, despite having worked with them for 10 years (back to when Ken himself was doing the estimating and work). I will attach a couple photos, but one must be under them in the house to appreciate how different these areas look from the rest of the ceiling.

I didn't feel confident working up on a ladder 18ft up. I can do all the other stuff, but breaking my neck was not part of the plan. Working at heights was no problem for Vince at all. It was like he was raised by ladders as as a child, brought his own ladder, way better than mine, and knew exactly what he was doing with every aspect of the work, wasted no time, and didn't miss a beat. Installed the indoor unit, braised the connections, got everything tied together in record time, and he made it look easy at a fair price. Really happy with the work. They were very responsive and checked things out. made recommendations and then offered a bid. We did get a second opinion and their work would have meant tearing out a wall to fit the compressor they used. So, we used Comfort Flow. They were professional, knowledgeable and hard workers. The job was very complex requiring electricians, plumbers and system skills and knowledge. This messy situation also occurred during late fall and because of delayed transport we had no heat. They supplied us with great space heaters. Overall, it was a complicated Job well done. Second time with them, we needed a ductless heater/air conditioner for our VRBO. Their salesman came, checked the space, made a recommendation and - voila! The job was done and completed in a day. The results are just dandy! They are a fine and responsive business who actually call you back and get the job done!

A friend of ours who knew about heating a/c systems, caught the issue and we got a refund from Comfort Flow for that visit. We are now in need of a whole new system and the current heating a/c company we are using (not Comfort Flow), has noted the original wiring was done incorrectly. Our system was set up to fail as Comfort Flow used wiring for a smaller system than what they gave us. Looks like they were hoping for more paid visits from us as customers. I hate to say it, but they do not have a good track record with us and now I see our original set-up was designed to have issues. Stay far away from this company.
