I have been a KWA customer since 2016 and have had KWA install ductless systems in two homes. The…read moremost recent was last summer 2025. Unfortunately I am extremely unhappy with how my ceilings were left after that installation. The KWA crew initially installed ductless heads WITH DUCTS into the ceiling in 3 places, and one of them was blocked by the closet. That one was moved, and the other 2 were corrected to being ductless. But this left large holes in my ceiling in 3 places. KWA had someone come by and fill the holes and paint the ones I had the paint for. The color was never right and the texture was never right for 3 places in the ceiling. For the last year I have lived with large non-textured spots in those places on my ceiling. My realtor recently came by and said they all look like I had poorly masked ceiling leaks and that leaving them as KWA left them would devalue my property because of presumed leaks. I need to now pay a company to come by and fix these 3 ceiling holes. These ceiling areas are not insubstantial, at least a square foot each. The disappointment and extra cost of this last project with KWA has caused me to lose faith in them, despite having worked with them for 10 years (back to when Ken himself was doing the estimating and work). I will attach a couple photos, but one must be under them in the house to appreciate how different these areas look from the rest of the ceiling.
