Thank you for your respect, Dr. Energy Saver! Previous 2-star Review: Unfortunately, this has been a very difficult experience for me to address standing water & drainage in my crawl space. I agreed to work with Dr. Energy Saver back in October, hoping to have the work done before the rains started. However, the work was just completed on December 31. The communication of the team was absolutely horrible - with each of the team members understanding that my project was at different points. I was told it was done multiple times - with the piping above-ground, and an alarm that was supposed to be installed still in the box. Brandon and his team finally got it figured out and did a great job communicating, but there was still confusion between the manager, Sean, and the office staff, who even threatened via phone to put a lean on my home, even though I had been calling and emailing them about the poor work and needing to get the installation completed. Grateful to Brandon for his work, and his respectfully addressing my concerns and caring about me as a customer. I would highly recommend him and his crew. However, the rest of the team really needs to get their communication and customer service addressed - it's very draining (pun intended) to have to manage and check the work you're paying someone else to complete.

It is important to note that Sean did an extremely good job of explaining my options and he made no attempt to "oversell" me or to get me to make a decision. It was refreshing to deal with an ethical company that was more interested in providing information than in selling m something I did not need.

The first time I used UPC's services for a mouse problem, the work was done by two employees of the…read morecompany. They did a good job and resolved the issue. I was pleased so I contacted UPC for a second time when I discovered a RAT problem. This time the owner came out, sold me an overpriced $500 "rat service." Instead of his competent employees, he did the work, such as it was, himself. The package included four visits to check the traps and dispose of any dead rats. The first visit was as promised. The second was a no show. I had to call them to get them to come out. One more was a no show and when I called again to have him check the traps, I reached the owner who told me he was sick. I had to call again and tell them to make the fourth call and remove the traps. I never saw the owner--he must have come and gone without letting me know he was even here. A few months later a work man was in the crawl space and found rat's nests, traps, and another dead rat. I believe now that the owner never came to take away the traps and left the dead rat to decompose. I tried on four occasions to reach the owner to discuss the situation, but he never returned my calls. Avoid this company if you want competent, effective, honest, responsible service without paying for calls that don't occur.

A competitor who will…read moreremain nameless told us that there was no way to repair our gas fireplace so we just needed to replace the entire unit - for a cost of about $5,000. The stove doctor fixed it for $125. And gave us much better advice re: maintenance going forward than what we had previously been told by said competitor.

Did not do good by us! Came out moved a couple wires (knocked off lead to the augur and stated…read moreneeded new wiring harness. What why? 2 scuffed wires, ok so will tape them up and proceed with testing to find what is wrong. Tec. stated I'm not here to repair only inspect LOL. No testing of anything, no diagnostic NOTHING! Then wanted payment-For what you did nothing!!! Never seen anything like this! Where we come from you have to actually do something to get paid, seriously. Would have had no problem paying if either a diagnostic/trouble shoot or repair was done. In this case nothing! So, when he left still didn't know the problem and had to replace the augur, he broke the wire off. Wow!!! Can't believe they didn't want to make this right as we tried and hated to leave a bad review. Sad! As the owner was out and does not even know what the employee did which was lit. nothing and had he been here would have been applaud! Lit. spent seconds looking at it moving the wires and then debated for the entire time to at least do something, anything!
