After setting up meetings to get quotes from various local heating and air companies we went to the home show and met the guys with Marshall's and gave them our info to set up a meeting for a quote. We received a phone call within two days to meet with Dan. On the day of our meeting Dan was on time, shook our hand and introduced himself to both of us. What a great first impression. He listened to what we wanted and answered all our questions. After assessing our home he sat down and worked up a quote that addressed all our needs. We called him within an hour him leaving and told him that we wanted them to install our heating and air system. Everyone that we have had contact with at Marshall's , Dan, the ladies in the office, Christy and Donna, David, who did the pre and post test on the duct system, to the gentleman that cleaned our ducts and the two gentleman that did the install has been very professional and we feel have gone out of their way to make sure that we are very happy with our new system. We have used Marshalls for the past 20 years and have never been disappointed! From installing a new heat pump and furnace last year in 100 degree heat, to regular maintenance, there is none better! Recently I called the emergency line and Theo was very helpful. I called early the next day (101 degrees that day!) and Scott was at my house within 2 hours. Extremely professional and helpful. He wasn't completely sure he had the answers (but it turned out he did!) so within another hour, Bear Mountain Electric was at my door, per Marshalls request! Within another hour, Devin and Jordan showed up, per Marshalls request, to follow up! Things are running fine now, and I continue to appreciate their professionalism and client concern. Whatever they charge - and get paid - isn't enough, in my opinion, for the services and relief they provide ...in my case in the most dreadful weather. Our Lennox Complete Heat system gave up its ghost in February within a few months after the 10-year warranty expired. Installed originally by Pacific Air Comfort, it had given us nothing but problems, usually on some of the coldest days, and the company did not tell us that it had replaced several of these systems under warranty. In fact, the owner of the company, on whose recommendation we had purchased the system, had his yanked out, too. Enter Marshalls. I called the owner, Chad Dannen, on a weekend, and by Monday afternoon we had a reasonable quote for a replacement system using a gas-fired Navien on-demand water heater. The water heater was ordered on Tuesday, and by Thursday all the re-plumbing had been completed and we had our heat back. Throughout, the company kept us updated about the progress. Things could not have gone faster and more smoothly. We now have reliable heat, the system works like a charm, and we are delighted. read more

From Harold ( his middle name should be HVAC with his immense knowledge) visiting us for a quote to Tim sizing up the job and the installation by Jawhn and Rick. These guys plus the staff at Marshall's are very friendly and professional. Jawhn and Rick were professional, highly skilled and knowledgeable about every aspect of our installation. They completed the installation quickly and with no problems. They left our place clean, you wouldn't have known they were even here. First...not quality...most a run around. their prices are high...and their service is so so. I did call them at a troubled time...and they came quickly. Now, when i call for information...they will only put me on hold. There are many quality heating companies in Eugene area. Marshall's heating could be good...but their communication is very poor. I am a building contractor for over 40 years...and we must communicate daily. The path that they chose is slow...and none. My client have said," Well I made an appointment and they never showed up and I waited" A few years back...I called them and asked for a quote on a Ductless System...they called and said sure...but they called and forgot to give me the quote. Maybe being brain dead is a common mistake at Marshall's. In summation, I wish them the best...but please shop around before using this company again. I cannot recommend them to any of my hundreds of clients. read more

We have been using Marshalls for at least a decade for both our own house as well as for our rentals and we have had nothing but good experiences. We have purchased a ductless heat pump from them and we have them do all the maintenance on both of our ductless heat pumps and regular heat pumps and electric furnaces. The most recent maintenance that we had done was exceptional. The service tech, Blake, was professional, knowledgeable and a good communicator. He gave us many good tips on how to best utilize our system, save energy and keep them running efficiently. When I had a follow up question about running our ductless heat pumps I received an extensive, detailed and thorough explanation from the Chief Operating Officer with a follow up to be sure it was clear. I've never experienced this level of accountability and service from any other vendor we work with. I highly recommend Marshalls. read more

Marshall's just installed our gas fireplace insert. We couldn't be more pleased. They worked with us from the initial consult and bid to the final install in order to accommodate our schedule. Marshall employees are courteous, considerate, and competent. We loved dealing with Harold, Andy, and Michele. The documents required to claim Oregon tax credits and an Energy Trust rebate for a super-efficient gas appliance arrived in the mail the day after the final installation--even before we had paid the bill. Super efficient, great service! This is the second project Marshall's has done for us. In 2015 they installed a tankless water heater that provides hot water for our heating system and for household use. It's a state-of-the-art system that has performed flawlessly. read more

Initial walk around and estimates were prompt, in depth, and fair. I needed a furnace and an air conditioning system. Harold walked me through ALL of my options, not just the ones that were most profitable to them. They installed cleanly and worked around other contractors on site. They offered financing options and made the entire process as painless as it could be considering what I needed. With the deal I got and the service I received I can understand why the receptionist was too busy to "justify" the increase in price to the previous reviewer.....they must be very busy. I wanted to Thank the Marshalls team. I had them design a new ductless heat pump system in my commercial building. It has several zones. Dan came out, got me a quote the next day. We talked about a couple options. Tim the lead coordinator met me on site to walk the project and we decide to do some more changes to the system do to my structure. Both Tim and Dan were spot on. My forced air furnace stopped working last night so I called Marshalls heating service this morning. By 1:00 I had a service man at my door. He introduced himself as Cody and put boot covers on before coming in the house. He was kind and polite and knew exactly what was wrong with my heater. He quickly ran and got the part needed and cleaned the whole system before installing it. Once installed Cody didn't leave until he knew the system was working. Parts and labor were very reasonable in cost. I highly recommend this company and Cody. read more

Our installer, Andy, was both professional and friendly. He was respectful of our space, took precautions to ensure cleanliness and provided complete cleanup of the project. He was easy to have in our home during the installation of our new ductless heat pump. He also showed us how to operate the new unit and answered all of our questions. Marshall's just completed a conversion from electric to gas for us. Prompt and neat. They installed a new gas water heater and a GREAT fireplace insert, while I added a Wolf cooktop. We will add more in the future. As an addition to the process we wanted a new hood over the cooktop (replacing a recirculating unit). The installers were on time, good at what they did and pleasant to share the house with. The bearing on our 2 year old gas furnace's fan started making noise. I called Marshall's (in Springfield, Oregon) who had installed the unit. They agreed the fan should've lasted longer, had a new one express delivered, and installed within days. The technician showed up on time, left no mess, and the job came in under the estimate. Two hours later I call to find out that they are to busy to even give me an appointment time.
