I have been a return customer at Weston Kia since 2003. Today I went to replace my 2007 Sedona. I did everything online. They told me they had a deal that was what I was looking for in my price range. We found a van we liked online. It was listed at $32,500.00. We get there they start doing the paperwork at they mark it is $35,000. When we questioned it, they told us that the online price is the price with the rebates. However even the sticker on the window shows the sale price as $32,500.00. We have always been drawn to Weston because they are honest. Took our 2013 Kia Optima in for check engine light, less than 60,000 miles, still under warranty. We were told engine was full of sludge and needed to be replaced. Dealership asked for oil change documentation. We gave it to them and for 3 weeks all they would say (when we called them) was you need more documentation, call Kia and set up a claim. We did all those things and nothing happened. Service team was rude, never helpful and offered zero solutions. We have heard by several people that their experience for service at Weston Kia was similar. We took our car to a different dealership. Gave it one star because they washed my car. Would not recommend Weston Kia ever!!!! read more

Mario was a terrific salesman. We started our search for a car 2 months prior. We looked at a Prius before deciding on the Kia Soul. We first encountered Mario at Broadway Kia when we just stopped by for a test drive. Mario really took the time to show us the features of the car. Knowing the pressure that car salesmen typically like to apply to a customer, I had my defenses up. But I didn't feel an overly amount of pressure from Mario. We weren't ready to purchase a Soul the first day, as we were just weighing our options. Mario called a few days later to check on us. We weren't ready, but had been doing our research into what we were looking for. 3 weeks later, Mario called, letting us know some new models were coming in. We stopped by and test-drove the Soul Exclaim model. It didn't meet our expectations with color or feel, so we passed. Mario would check in every now and then. I'd always tell him we just weren't in the market right now. Eventually, Mario made the move to Weston, a far more impressive operation than either Broadway Kia or Beaverton. After Mario understood what we were really after (a Moss colored Soul, with the UVO), he let us know that some were coming in. One Friday afternoon, 2 months after starting a dialogue with Mario, he called me to let me know he had one left. I came down, knew that was the car we had been waiting for, and a deal was made. Mario even drove my old car back to my house while I drove the new Soul. That's accomodating! I can't speak for other salespeople at Weston, but I can speak for Mario's persistance, generally friendly demeanor, and accomodation. read more

Yesterday bought our 4th vehicle form Weston Kia in Gresham. We got in contact with Brittney Barstad who is by far the best sales rep my wife or I have dealt with. She was NOT pushy and did everything in her power to get us the 2016 V6 Sorento we wanted and in our price range. But that's not all, she got us the luxury SUV we wanted and was really helpful and didn't push other vehicles we didn't want and listen to everything that we were saying and expected from a dealership. Brittney then went above and beyond with watching our 9 year old autistic son and our 6 year old daughter while we were signing the paperwork. I could have never asked for a better person and sales rep to help us, Brittney really deserves a huge bonus and a raise from what she did and how we were treated like family and not like strangers. I am surprised this place actually got a good review from someone. I was given the runaround, lied to, and almost a victim to a possible bait and switch method. The salesperson had an attitude. The dealership ran the typical car sales game. And in the end I bought elsewhere at better terms and price. Also had a friend I told about my experience tell me she went through the exact same thing but actually bought a car, then found out a week later a "mistake" was made on their part and she needed to resign her contract at a much higher rate!!! Go elsewhere. Someplace they listen to you. I used TrueCar to get quotes from multiple dealers on multiple vehicles. (3 Kia cars.) I had indicated that I wanted quotes emailed to me. I started getting about 3 calls a day from Weston Kia's staff. It was like a debt collector calling during dinner, during my work hours, etc. When I received an email that didn't include rates, I reminded them that I had 3 cars that I was looking to receive quotes on before I took any other step. Calls kept coming. Emails started to come in, but they kept asking me to schedule a visit and test drive. Eventually, the manager called me to see if I had received what I needed. (Seriously?!) I told her I had received none of what I had requested and that I had no interest in being badgered on the phone. She acted surprised that I had requested quotes on 3 vehicles. I had to remind her of which cars and options combinations. She asked what rate I wanted and I told her to give me their absolute best offer. She didn't like that direction. it seems obvious that she's hoping to create an offer that costs you more and makes Weston more profit. A day later I received a quote on 1 vehicle! The dealership says they sent 2 of 3 because the deals on those were so great. I only received 1 and the deal wasn't close to being competitive. Ultimately, this dealership feels that they and not the customer gets to control the sales process. They have no interest in listening to you, the customer. They want to play games. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with a company making a profit, but be transparent and honest. People will respect you and support your business. That is not the experience I had with Weston Kia. I would not recommend this organization to anyone. read more

I had a horrible car shopping experience here. It's my first time actually buying a car so I took my mom along with me. We started the meeting by saying that we probably weren't gonna make a commitment tonight we just wanted to look around. We told the salesman our budget and he took us out onto the lot. While walking to the lot he asked what kind of car I was interested in and asked another two times what our budget was. He never once showed us a car close to our budget and pressured me into driving a car. I drove the car and agreed it was nice but not really what I was looking for and it was way out of my budget. He said well let's just go crunch numbers and see what kind of deal we can get you. So I thought ok maybe he can get me a good deal and I'll think about maybe getting the car since I am without one at the moment. Well as we walked in my mom reaffirmed what our budget was and that the car was way out of our budget. We went inside and he made us fill out all this paperwork while I'm continuously telling him that I want to think on the car because I don't want to make such a huge commit unless I really like the car. He kept saying ok ok we'll see what deal we can get you. By this point my anxiety was getting really high and I was feeling very trapped. He kept asking how much we wanted to finance and we kept telling him how much we were preapproved for and what our budget was. Well after all the "number crunching" the deal he came out with was having us finance 2500 dollars more than we wanted to. Making me go way over our budget. By this time Id told him about 5 times that I wanted to go home and think on the car and that it was way over my budget. He kept asking why we only wanted to spend that much and we kept explaining my financial situation. He also kept asking me what I didn't like about the car and why I needed to think on it. I told him multiple times that it wasn't what I originally wanted and I just needed to think on it. He then proceeded to repeat all the facts about the car to me and all I could do was agree that it was a good car but just not for me. He then left us to talk it over and I told my mom I just want to go. Im very uncomfortable and I feel like he won't let us leave and I do not like that car. She agreed. He came back and we told him for the umpteenth time that we didn't want to spend that much and we wanted to think about the car. Well he then called his manger over. By this time I was done. I was trying to stand up and just walk out. But I try not to be a rude person. His manager came over and asked us what he could do to get out business that night and by then I was done. Had the salesman been less pushy and more willing to work with us maybe I could've offered something to the manager. But instead my mom and I looked at him said nothing and walked out. I was so stressed out and my anxiety was through the roof. I never want to go back there again. And it's really unfortunate too because the lady we'd talked to on the phone was so kind and understanding and had said if she could t help us she'd find someone who could. She could refer us to another dealership. Well she was off the day we were able to come in but assured us we'd be in good hands. Well we were not in good hands at all. And the kicker? I went home and researched the car that he was trying to so hard to push on me and it's a compete junker. So glad I walked out empty handed. I had previously bought my Kia Rondo here in 2007 with my now ex-husband. This time I was going in as a single woman...ekkk right !!!....I called ahead of time to make sure I could get the financing on the terms I wanted. I spoke with Dean and immediately established a rapport. There were some minor snafus in the beginning, but I must say I was impressed with how quickly Weston made things right. The owner and OPs Managers immediately made sure I was happy and taken of and I ended up leaving with a BRAND NEW 2015 KIA SOUL !!!!!!! I am not sure how they pulled it off, but with my little down payment, mediocre credit and my less than worthy trade in they got me in the car I wanted on my terms. Dean was great to work with !! I would recommend him to any friend or family. I know buying a car is brutal, but it is less brutal working with this dealership. Had to take my car in for a recall repair. That went fine, it was faster than expected. Too fast, apparently- I started getting calls from them after I left, which I couldn't pick up until I got home. They say they left a tool in my car. I search my car, don't find it, and as I'm dialing them, they call again. They say it's under the car, and they want me to come back so they can get it. I can't sit long each day, so that's out. They say they'll send someone to my place immediately. I am moving and starting a new job, things are hectic. I make some calls to delay my plans. 30 minutes pass, no Kia person arrives. I call, he's "on his way." At 60 minutes, my plans have fallen through, Kia is still a no-show. I call again, now I'm told "they're good." They found another tool. Not the one they left, the guy says. Can I come in tomorrow? No. Can I mail it? First of all, it's under the car. Second, i can't get to them, so why would I be able to go wait in line at the post office? Now it's "whenever I can get in." Aaargh. It's their mistake! Why are they putting it on me to deal with this? Is my car even OK to drive with their tool attached? They lied when they said the guy was on his way? Why didn't they call me when they decided not to send someone! So many things wrong with this interaction! Edited to add: called to schedule appt. to have them remove the tool, first disconnected, then asked to hold, then asked if they can call me back. Then they told me somebody DID come and disconnect and take the tool, they just didn't knock or tell me (or the office, who was asking me to mail the part). Hashed out the details and he came up with the best price I had been offered by any dealer, All this over the internet without any haggling. Called the next day to verifiy the documentation I need to get my $3500 in rebates, then traveled from Beaverton to Gresham on Tri-Met for two hours. Well worth the time and effort. Spent only one hour at the dealership for a test drive and paper work, then drove home, knowing I got the best possible deal. No buyer's remorse here. While there Denny didn't try to upsell me or push/pressure me to buy product/services I made it known I didn't want. My intelligence wasn't insulted, no head games or dishonest/deceitful tactics. I was so pleased with the experience that I actually gave him a $50 tip before I drove off. If you're looking for a KIA see Denny Joseph at Weston Kia, assuming management hasn't fired him for giving away the store. P.S. Don't, I repeat, don't deal with the dirtbags at Broadway Kia. Weston Kia was the first dealer I went into earlier this week in hope of finding a newer/used car. Both my fiancé and I were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with a smile and offered some hot coffee by Mitch. After just a short conversation, he was able to show me a couple of their Kia Fortes (both were within my cost range). Soon after the test drives, Mitch introduced us to Scott. I can't say enough about these two--they really listened to our concerns and I felt they were as honest and reasonable as possible. Despite wanting to get a car right then and there, the skeptic in me needed to try a few other stores. What a mistake. I felt completely pushed and unheard at the other dealer we visited that day and couldn't believe how different the experience was for me. Customer service is so important, and I believe Weston Kia provides an excellent example of what quality service truly means. The next day, we returned to Weston Kia, asked for Mitch, took another test drive and started the process of getting papers signed. Both him and Scott were willing to do as much as they could to keep my monthly payment down while also giving me a GREAT deal on my trade-in. Despite both my father and fiancé being somewhat abrasive during the negotiation (because I am terrible at such a task), the guys at Weston handled it so well and made me feel so comfortable with my choice in such a big purchase. Soon after, we met with Justin to sign papers and talk extended warranties and the like. Justin was also beyond accommodating and listened to my concerns and knew right away what I wanted/expected. I purchased a KIA Soul 2018 from this dealership the other day. I went prepared to the utmost to do battle but mostly to try to protect myself from the sales and financial folks endless tricks. it is said information is power, so I took plenty. Let me say for full disclosure my opinion is as low as it can go of the car buying process and those who have chosen to perpetuate the awful experience. But as my son and I walked the lot a Mr. Daniel Jefferson approached us and my 30 years of terrible opinions and matching experiences slowly was replaced with feeling of ease and comfort. It was first Mr. Jefferson's relaxed approach. Your first and last impression of a dealership is the sales person. Second, Mr. Jefferson's listen intently and more importantly he heard me -- the exchange wasn't about him and what he felt I should buy -- it was clearly about to him what my needs and purpose was and how he could help. And Mr. Jefferson was knowledgeable but not in a overbearing way. He projected that he was on my side in me having a good outcome in the buying experience; a horrendously awful, long-drawn out experience. Which I think ultimately ended up a win for me as I got a wonderful car at a fair price and a win for the dealership as they got my business, my money and this excellent review. Job well done. I still don't like dealerships but this time I walked away feeling good. read more

My only advice, buy somewhere else if your not buying brand new these guys are as shady as anyone on 82nd ave. I followed Ted from gresham subaru because I had 3 awesome experiences over there. I made the mistake of taking his word that truck I was interested in was 100% and tip top ready to go and had it delivered. When I got the truck, the computer was fried, the drivers side air only blew ice cold the mirrors didn't work, and the front bumper was hanging off the truck. They took it back for a week and gave it back to me with half the issues still there the seconthat d time they took it back they managed to fix the original issues but when I finally got the truck back the drivers side seat no longer heated and the truck no longer registered that people were sitting in it to activate the airbags. Now they say if they look at it and decide its not from them being in the dashboard and doors working on other stuff they are going to charge me for looking at it. There is such a slim chance that the new issues aren't caused by them and on the .off chance that they wernt, the actual work involved is less than a few hundred bucks if I paid but with the deception and or incompetence I've had to deal with so far I was shocked that they even mentioned a charge. I have bought about 20 cars in my life and this has been by far the absolute worst experience I've had with a dealership. read more
