I am sorely disappointed with Western Rooter and will not go back to them again. I had a simple problem so I thought when my toilet wouldn't flush and drain, but instead of using tools to directly unplug the line as I have had done in the past with other companies, this plumber wanted to examine the entire plumbing system out to mainline. After spending many thousands of dollars to replace the pipes and drainage system, which I now regret, I now have the same problem just 2 months later with a new toilet they provided that is plugged up and does not drain when flushed. Beware of plumbers who try to find the most expensive reason (excuse) for your problem, leaving you with the same problem you started with. i will now go to the Roto-Rooter company who my daughter has had good success with. read more

Ask for Daniel Westereng! We needed a plumber to pipe/install a whole house water filtration system in our garage. He figured out how to pipe it in limited wall space without touching the exterior, and he even took the time to sweep+wash the area and coil up the garden hose for us. We re-tested the water and everything looks great. It's been 3 months now without any leaks or drop in water quality despite the aforementioned difficult piping. My sump pump stopped working and at the same time both of my shower drains clogged. My dentist recommended Western to me. He had only good things to say about them. I called and got a real live wonderful lady on the phone. She scheduled me in very good time. When the gentlemen came, they were prompt, courteous, friendly, very professional, and very knowledgeable. They kept me informed every step of the way of what they were doing. They explained to me how to take care of my pump, and made sure I understood. I felt very good about that and confident I could do what they said. Next, they cleaned and unclogged my shower drains. They now work better then ever. As they were doing this they noticed how hard it was to turn the handle. I knew it was hard, but I was ignoring that. They explained to me very thoroughly that if it doesn't get fixed it will probably break the pipes behind it and it will be a real problem. But there was no pressure from them to fix it and I liked that. But rather then wait for it to be an emergency, I had them fix it. They did it right then and I didn't have to reschdeule. We have a plummer we have been using for 20-30 years on various properties we own. We use Western Rooter as a backup plummer. Sometimes our plummer is sick or on vacation and you have to have a job done right away. They are good and honest. We will continue to use them and one day when our plummer retires we know who we will switch to permanently. By the way, they worked on a rental around 10 years ago. Found standing water in the tub of the back house (no one use it for weeks), which lead us to noticed water coming out from sewer clean out. Called Western at noon and got scheduled between 2-4 pm same day (Sunday). Got another call from Western that they will be late but before 5 pm, so appreciate prompt communication.
