I found this place to be a bit noisy and crowded for my taste. The music was overly loud and everyone was shouting to be heard. The service was extraordinarily slow...it took us 45 minutes to get two drinks. The 9 screen TV was playing cartoons and 80's music videos. A keno machine lurks in the corner but nobody seemed to be interested. I wasn't. I ordered a Prairie Godmother. It was good but nothing special. I ordered another drink: a Chocolate Martini. My first impression was that the presentation was most definitely lacking. I sent a picture of it to my friend along with a message "This looks like shit." My husband then said the exact same thing. Which is kind of unfortunate because it turned out to be delicious. When I got to the bottom I found a white chocolate ball and that was awesome. I don't know if I'll come back...probably not. Nothing impressed me except the prices, but it's also very close to my house so you never know. The drinks were good, but not good enough to account for the price or to make me willing to wait so long for service. read more

I really enjoyed my experience at WestEnd! As with most West Omaha/Elkhorn establishments, character is lacking as so many businesses are located in a strip mall, but the interior of WestEnd was unexpected and appealing. The walls are a very dark blue, a wall of mirrors that mimic airplane windows (at least in my opinion) and comfortable lounge chair seating. On a Thursday night there was a decent crowd, but manageable for the staff to handle. My friend who joined me and has been to WestEnd on the weekends told me the place can really fill up. We enjoyed some cocktails as well as appetizers - I enjoyed the homemade dressing on the wedge salad as well as the clothesline bacon. The meatball pizza was just okay in my book - some of the crust was a little burnt, but overall the food selection exceeded my expectations. I can definitely see why this place draws a good crowd! read more

Always amazing food and drinks here. It's our go to for a good night out. The appetizers are so good and very filling enough for dinner.

odd ambiance... don't recommend if you're not 40+ white male. Felt like a night club trying to disguise as a higher end lounge, food was bomb doe. read more

Love the flight option for Martinis. Servers are attentive... definitely not struggling for staff here. read more

My husband and I have been looking to branch out from the norm of the same old bars and grills in our area. I heard great things about West End via Facebook, so thought we would give it a try. It's a little more out of the way for us, but we like trying new places. Upon entering, the ambiance was very trendy and the first thing to be noticed are large screens on the wall in the middle of the bar playing music videos. It started out with some great country hits than gradually moved to 90s as the afternoon went on. We had the intention of only going for beers but wanted to try some apps too. We went with the truffle fries and brussel sprouts. They were both amazing and the portions were very large. The truffle fries were the most truffliest tasting fries I've had with some fresh grated parm on the top. The brussel spouts were crisp, sweet and savory. The best we've ever had at a restaurant, and we've had some pretty good ones. The only down side, if there is any, is that its pretty expensive for just having only appetizers, no entrees. Truffle fries were $10 and Brussel Spouts $13. With 3 beers each, brought our total with tip to over $70. I wasn't quite prepared for that but I won't take any stars off because it was a great place. Sounds like they have happy hour too with some apps cheaper and a few dollars off beer. We will definitely be back though. The staff was great and very friendly, fun music, creative ambiance, large covered patio (for those worried about Covid), and the appetizers were much more high end than what you'd find at a standard bar and grill. For next time we have our eye on the nachos, seared tuna and hummus-and also want to try their unique martini flight. Highly recommend this place! Great for a girls night out, date night, or just a nice stop after a long day at the office! read more

We love WestEnd. It's my favorite place to relax. I usually go their with my friends. Love their big screen with 90s music.! Love their old fashioned!!! Must try Meat Balls!! read more

Cozy atmosphere and attentive servers. There is a great variety of food with many tasty options. Drinks were wonderful.

We got take out from here and I have to say it was some of the best to-go food I've had during the last six months. Everything transported really well (granted we were only bringing it about 10 minutes away). The bacon was amazing (and so were the pickles it came with), I can't say enough good things about the Mac and cheese and even the truffle fries were still tasty and fresh when we got them home. I'm looking forward to trying this place in person sometime soon! read more

Amazing food (brisket sliders), great drinks, even better service and vibe. One of my favorite places in Nebraska. I got the pleasure of meeting the owners and they were fantastic. I'm glad I stopped in and I'll be back. read more

Really wanted to try this place. Half the restaurant I as full. The other half is as empty but had notes on tables saying reserved for parties over an hour away. Staff was not helpful. Will not attempt to go back. There are better places in the area I will go to instead. read more

Wonderful hang out spot to just spend time with loved ones. The patio seating is a must on a nice day. All of their food is dynamite and the drinks are fantastic, especially with their extra surprises (such as a chocolate truffle at the bottom of my chocolate martini. Very nice. We sat on the patio and enjoyed some drinks. It is well shaded and has a casual atmosphere. Also, a nice unique selection of appetizers! read more

Nice atmosphere, good food. We tried the nachos, tacos and Brussels sprouts. All were good. I would definitely pick the nachos on a return trip. They said bbq, but the bbq was more of a hint and gave the nachos great flavor. The Brussel sprout tweet great. I would skip the tacos next time. Not bad, but they didn't measure up to the other food. Drinks were good, priced around $11 each for signature cocktails. read more

It was good, but WAY overpriced. Definitely stick to coming for happy hour. Service was, eh. Waitress kept the drinks coming but was not overly friendly or talkative. Food was good. The Daytona wings were my favorite. Crispy Brussel sprouts were not very crispy, but they were still tasty. read more

Good happy hour for martinis, a hip place to hang out and get drinks. Music is loud, people are having a good time, a hidden gem.

Nice selection of appetizers. We tried wings, truffle fries, shrimp havarti, Brussels sprouts and nachos. All were very good but the sprouts and shrimp havarti were our favorites! Music is a little loud but fun old music videos. We really enjoyed our visit read more

Gummy bear martini is awesome!! Yum! Brussels sprouts and quesadilla is good too. Wings too. Hummus too. Nice add to the area!!

Honestly there is no better cocktail place out west. So grateful this one is open and AMAZING perfect for happy hour with girls or bring the guys in... my husband loves the old fashion! read more

The outdoor patio are was warm enough with the infrared heaters, and our service was quite good. However, the drinks were off. My drink was a bit on the sweet side, and not really to my tastes. That's not so much an issue as individual tasted may vary. My wife's dirty martini had far too much olive brine in it; it was overly salty and reminded one of getting an unexpected mouthful of seawater. read more

Khayla was our server tonight and she was extraordinary. Not only a beautiful face and soul but the best customer service and drinks to go along with it. West End has brunch! and what a brunch menu it is.. i had the smores french toast. it was AMAZING. perfectly rich and delicious. i also noticed a chicken and waffles dish that sounded delicious- they have happy hour all day Sunday and the regular appetizers also sounded so good. the place is comfortable lounge vibe and friendly servers- obviously a talented kitchen staff, and parking right out in front. tucked in the shopping area next to Elkhorn south. seriously go! read more

Stopped by yesterday for a quick happy hour appetizer and cocktail. The elderflower bomb is a great drink - doesn't taste like gin. The new sliders were just ok for me but my wife really liked them. The chips and dip are always excellent - hard to beat homemade chips. The tables are well spaced and the interior is obviously well cleaned. Glad they're open again!! read more

This was my second visit here and it great! I have been looking for a bar that serves hot toddy's and I was pleased to find out that they do! We could really taste the bourbon but it was followed by a nice taste of lemon and honey. We ordered the Brussel sprouts to start and then my boyfriend had the ahi tuna while I had the shrimp and raspberry salad. All plates were delicious and good portion sizes. The one thing that I would say is that it was a little over priced. We paid entree prices for the appetizers that we had. The waitress was friendly and very attentive which was appreciated as well. Overall it's a nice place to grab a quick drink (most of the people there were in suits and looked like they just came from work) and some small plates. read more

Great interior. Friendly and prompt service. We ordered Brussel sprouts, meatballs and wedge salad. And wine and Gummi bear martini. Drinks were very good. Brussel sprouts some of my favorites. Meatball flavor very good but coldish. Wedge salad more of a chopped salad and eggs needed to be more hard boiled as well as bacon cooked a bit more. Staff was very accommodating to try to fix the small issues. I would definitely go here again. Service super! read more
