Fun place to play keno! All of the staff is super nice and on the ball. We have enjoyed the diverse menu and generous portion sizes, & we always take a piece of carrot cake home for later! read more

The Waterfall is one of those bars that has the image of being slightly better than average, and sometime it is. I have met friends there a couple times to watch car racing. I like layout with the giant waterfall and one giant screen in the center. The game room on the other side of the wall. The Waterfall is located in a mostly affluent area and on a golf course and seems to get a lot of golfers, or regulars who the staff will provide with priority service. Don't be put off if the bartender does talk to or take your order you right away, she is probably busy talking to one of the regulars and she will get to you eventually, you just need to be patient. In summary: -The food is okay. About average for bar fare. -The service is inconsistent. It depends who is working and if there regulars there because they will get priority service over people they don't know. -The ambiance is slightly better than other sports bars in omaha. Typical sports bars have all the TVs turned and blasting the volume to the point where you can't even talk. The waterfall is not that bad by comparison. read more

Food is consistent, staff tries their best. But, with ALL the TV's in the place they typically have only 1 thing showing on ALL of the TV's or screen savers!?!? Someone needs to pay better attention to what you have on the TV's. read more

The food is always fresh and delicious! The menu is HUGE for a bar menu! We will definitely be back!

It was really cold inside, service was good, ordered a patty melt and got a version of a Ruben instead with a burger patty. Waitress did confirm they are struggling in the kitchen with some stuff. read more

Location & size gives this place potential but it has been in a position as the only option neighborhood area bar/pub for some time. Great pizza / good food but it's very LOUD in that there is nothing to absorb the sound in either room & it can make it hard to talk (Watch out when a bachelorette party comes in.). Also avoid throwing $ in the jukebox bc they'll skip songs from behind the bar or turn it off altogether mid-song if it's not what they wanna hear. read more

We came in right before the grill closed after being at a 9 hour wrestling tournament that ran out of food. They let us order food and even tack on an extra to go order for our wrestler. Food was delicious and the hospitality was more than amazing! Thank you Santa ( kitchen manager) and Casey our server. We will definitely be back! read more

Mark was amazing! He was very personable and gave us amazing drink recommendations! Highly suggest checking out this bar!

The best bar food in town by far! Any football game you could want to watch, they got it. They have shuffleboard, darts, pool, Keno and more! The service is incredible and the people are very kind. Lots of fun to be had here. read more

I always really liked this place, but I agree the place is often too loud. Glad to see other reviews agree, because others feedback is often "then you're too old." Strange, post Covid quarantine this place is busier than ever. I can't blame The Waterfall for being crowded, but it's sad that I see the place so packed. Nearby establishments such as The Lighthouse and Angus are 20% full at best. I suppose that's a compliment on The Waterfall, but it sure doesn't make me want to go back anytime soon... read more

Sad! Sarpy county dive bar. Mediocre appetizers that were quite bland. No soundproofing in the ceiling so the sound bounces off of the floor. Bar mostly has the beers of the foreign-owned Anhueser-Busch. The saddest aspect is the theme: Waterfalls. Patrons are subjected to a waterfall that you could buy at the NFM. And then pictures of real waterfalls from around the world are in the menu. No picture of Smith Falls in Nebraska. Why? We can admire a Husker football on the wall but nothing of our natural Husker heritage. Addendum. For some inexplicable reason a wedding party stopped here. One bridesmaid was falling out of her top so that was somewhat amusing. At least no visible tats with this crew so not completely clueless. Maybe the purpose of the visit was a vicarious trip to Niagara Falls. read more

We were headed to Roja for dinner and drinks but after seeing the wait, we went elsewhere. Somebody in my group had driven past Waterfall Lounge and suggested that we try it. It was a ways away but we decided to make the trip anyway. It gets its name from a waterfall that's behind the grill. Other than that, it was a standard bar with flat screens tv's on the wall and probably a bit too dim. The menu was small (appetizers, salads, burgers, and pizza). I ordered The Angel which was a taco pizza. My friends ordered The Niagara (looked like a combo pizza) and the five alarm burger with fries. My small pizza was 10" and more than enough for a meal. Not bad for $8. Overall, the pizza was just okay. I've had better taco pizzas (Godfathers still is the stand out) and I've had worse. It had a refried bean base, hamburger, cheese, lettuce, cheddar and a side of salsa and sour cream. The service was good not great but the place was fairly busy. All-in-all, it was a decent experience but probably not a place I'd go back to again. Part of that is because I live on the other side of town and it wasn't that memorable. read more

The food here is surprisingly good for bar food. Their buffalo chicken sandwich is the best I have had in Omaha. Their BBQ chicken pizza is also amazing. The service is horrific. It's sad because if I owned this place and watched how the staff worked I would freak out. You sit with empty drinks while the staff hangs out. It must be a fun place to work. Must be nice to play with your phones and ignore people. Food, really really good. Service, really really bad. Frankly, I bet they don't care cause the place is usually pretty busy. Good for them. I keep going back but I keep my expectations on getting drinks low. Too bad as I would likely spend 50% more than I do here just because I sit with an empty glass. In fairness, I have to repeat - the food really is good. read more

Laminate wood floor makes this place loud. VERY LOUD! Can't even converse across the table normally. I mean Loud! Service: meh. Been here a few times and haven't really had a pleasant experience with the wait staff. Very abrupt. Not very friendly. Kind of a "what do you want" experience. I only come back because it's close to home. Certainly not because it's inviting. read more

I usually will go to the Waterfall Lounge on Tuesday nights when they have half-priced burgers and great pitcher and draw specials. I believe that they have specials throughout the week but do not know for sure because I usually only make it there on Tuesdays. It has a wide range of customers from blue-collar workers grabbing a few drinks after work to the country club groups that seem to make their way in from Tiburon Golf Course just down the road. No matter who comes in though it has a very friendly atmosphere and the groups intermix after sharing a few cigarettes together out on the patio. All in all it is a great place to grab a bite to eat and the tab always seems lower than what you expect after having several pitchers or draws because of the great drink specials. read more

Tried it for lunch one day. Big mistake! Just bar food and bad bar food at that! Service is nearly non-existent! The help spends more time yacking it up instead of waiting on the customers. These people don't even have a clue as to what is going on! 3 people behind the bar and it was like pulling teeth to get just one of them to wait on you! This is one of those places that needs Jon Taffer to chew them a new one and teach them how to run a business for the customer and not for their own pleasure! Did the people who own O Face in CB buy this place? Sure seems like it! HEY BAR EMPLOYEES, YOU DO NOT DRINK WHILE YOU ARE ON THE CLOCK EVER! read more

This place is ok. Similar to other reviews, the food is good. Service sucks! Bear in mind, this is in a pretty affluent area of town. Sits right next to one of the more expensive golf clubs in the area. We live not to far away and had never been here before. We gave it two tries...The first visit was worse than the second, very slow service, and it seemed like the employees kind of just did whatever they want. Seemed to be really hanging out with the individuals dressed in golf attire (maybe their regulars?). Listen, I get it, if your in a business and have regulars maybe you will give those folks a great deal on their tab from time to time, because surely they spend a lot of money with you, but at least give your new guests some attention...they may become regulars! As a previous reviewer said, the waterfalls are weird. But honestly, the food is really good and I can overlook the decor for good food, however the service really needs work. I am willing to give this place another shot, my wife not so much. Maybe I can convince her to give it a go again, we shall see. Oh, and this does seem to be the place to go for wedding parties because both times we went wedding parties showed up, and the patrons seemed overserved already. read more

I've been going to the Waterfall since the day it opened. Good food, although I never eat there since the Bud Light is so cold! Lots of fun, great people and always a good time! read more

The Waterfall Grill and Lounge - Lounges Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

we went to this bar after a concert and they were so much fun! highly recommen!

Nice bar, decent food with large helpings for a fairly low price. Nice staff. The pretzel breadsticks are hard to beat.

What a great neighborhood pub. We had BLT, Reuben and a Patty melt with sweet potato tots. The sandwiches were excellent as well, the service was excellent. Will definitely make a return trip!!!!! read more

I'd like to say that I'm disgusted with Waterfall Lounge and their willingness to facilitate the spread of COVID 19. At a time when numbers are spiking and Nebraska just went red after doing so well, this establishment is part of the problem. Don't order take out from this restaurant. If you dine in then you will be well aware that NO ONE is wearing masks or gloves, to include kitchen staff and you can eat at your own risk because you are informed. If you get curbside, you would not be informed and that is unfair. It got one star because they have a great view into the kitchen where I had the luck to see kitchen staff standing maskless about 2 feet apart having a conversation and another maskless and gloveless person handling food. NICE. read more

I've been to this bar once and will not go back. I never got a drink because the wait staff were too busy socializing and the crowd is more 21-25. The atmosphere leaves you feeling awkward and the layout wasn't thought out too well. I'm not impressed. read more

Wonderful place, good atmosphere and wonderful staff. I recommend the sob sandwich with sweet potato tots either that or their pizza, you can not go wrong with their pizza (the taco pizza is delightful). When it comes to drinks they can whip up an amazing cocktail. I've never had a bad time with this place. read more

Food was so so. Only one bartender which also pretend to be a waitress and tend to keno. Waited till your beer was almost done then would grab it and throw it away in hopes you would purchase another read more

Came here for lunch after a morning 9 at golf course next door. The beer cheese pretzels were spot on and the chicken salad I had was OK for a bar. The service was good as my water good refilled 3 times. Looks like they have some good food specials during the week, will probably be back for lunch again with coworkers. read more

My compliments to the chefs .....pulled pork sandwich with their homemade slaw was outstanding .... and exceptional service from Raichel, as always!! read more

They have zero wall insulation or sound absorption on the walls so it's hard to have a conversation - they skimp on the easy stuff..like HD TVs ~ if a bachelorette party comes in you cannot hear across your table and it's already a struggle when the jukebox is on. You just hope to get a server who smiles or has any personality. If this place wasn't the only choice in the area, it wouldn't be able to stand up to competition. Yet, it has such potential - wish it would just live up to it. Good pizza and apps read more

Go here for cold beer, and that's about it. It's a good time for that. The wait staff is nice and the atmosphere is fun. I am concerned about the health code rating for the place. The one time I was there, the ketchup bottle exploded all over the table when we opened it (not kidding), which either meant the previous customers were playing an awesomely-talented chemistry joke, which would be quite funny, or that the bottle was infected with some kind of bacteria and hadn't been opened for a while. Considering how cricket-chirpingly quite it was during prime business hours while we were there, I am guessing it was the latter. We won't be back. read more

Your typical West Omaha bar situated in a strip mall. No complaints about service, in fact the two ladies I dealt with were quite friendly and attentive. I do like the front patio, will have to get the food a try next time. read more

Watch your tab! If the tip is not to there liking they will change the amount after you sign the receipt. I called them on it when it came thru my account, they denied it, but when they produced the receipt it had obviously been changed. I won't go back. read more

Went there tonight worst service I've had in 10 yrs.the drink was bad so bartender stuck her straw in and said no it's fine..So we ordered something else it was bad also so I told waiter the carbonation was bad she said no I changed it..and proceeded to try out drinks again..like really gross and said no there just strong. No personalitys from any of the staff..Can't wait for the new bar in front to open then maybe owners will value the customers they had!!!Never left a review anywhere but this was so bad!! read more

Worst dining experience ever. Waitress took forever to even acknowledge us. Messed up our order and it took them forever to get us our food. Drinks were never refilled. Food was ok, what you would expect at an average sports bar. Then there was a wood chip in my chicken philly.....gross! Never going back and never recommending to anyone. read more

Called to order pizza and wings during the broncos game. Was told to hold for a sec and I'm still on "hold" 47 minutes later. They put the phone down so we can't try calling back in on another line. We used to go to waterfall for beer and pizza with friends that live in tiburon, but that will never happen again. Ended up ordering for our party elsewhere. read more

Haven't been in here for a while due to poor service. They finally found someone good. We believe katie was her name and we will definitely come back when she is there. Very hardworking and a constant smile. She recommended her favorites and she was right. We hope that you can get more people like her. The food was also delicious. read more
