He showed me images and quickly walked me through how he would resolve. I received an emailed estimate. Once I signed the follow up was quickly scheduled. Not only do they secure the access points they return to ensure capture of the rodents. At the first follow up he reported back that the female was captured. We had West Pest come out to help us with a rodent problem we have been having for a few months. We worked with Matt a few years ago to solve a carpenter ant problem in our upstairs and within 2 visits the problem went away. We have not seen one carpenter ant since in our house. A few weeks ago I heard scuffling sounds in our wall and attic and found rodent poop. I was at my wits end. I called West Pest; Matthew arrived and explained in detail about trapping rodents and how to seal off the garage and house to prevent them from getting in. He is an expert about rodent pest control and is an excellent teacher, sharing what he knows. He helped us succeed to trap the rodent ourselves. Within just a few hours of his visit we had success trapping a culprit! Finally, Matt allows the customer to be in charge; to tackle as much of the work as they want to. He listens well, then he offers excellent advice. Being handy and retired we wanted to try and tackle the problem ourselves but are fully aware that we may be calling Matt back to finish the job. Matthew is OUTSTANDING, I can't recommend him enough. We've worked with other companies (Planet Orange and Pied Piper) tirelessly trying to figure out solutions to our bug/mouse infestations to no avail. Both times, it felt like the technician didn't have any useful information for me and it was hard to trust them and their services never ended up working. Matthew is my hero--he took the time to go under our house and find the source of the problem in both instances while taking into account that we have a child, wanting to do it both safely but most importantly, effectively. He talked me through the mechanisms of the insects/found sources in our home where they were coming in, etc so that we ultimately found a solution (mice & insect free) instead of just doing constant spraying. You'll get him when you call and he'll be the one providing the service and he's just an all around great guy--family first, kind, I loved just chatting with him and it was such a relief to be able to trust his process fully, instead of worrying someone was just trying to sell us a service. Matthew is VERY knowledgeable and professional. He is incredibly educated and well-versed in this area. He humanly extricated rats that had found their way into our fireplace wall. We didn't want to kill the creatures if we didn't have to, so Matthew placed a one-way door for them and it worked perfectly. He sealed up any entrances into our house and garage. He also educated us about what to do to our house and garden to make them much less attractive to pests. The communication system he uses is incredibly professional and easy to access.
