We've been customers of Jon for years. He is always responsive and thorough. He listens to my concerns (I hate bugs, rodents, etc.) and proposes appropriate remedies. He protects the wildlife (birds, frogs, etc.) by not using harsh chemicals in the extermination. As he says "They (wildlife) would have to roll around and swim in the chemicals to get sick." Back in 2017 I gave Haderle Pest Control a 5-star review after they sealed my older home and completely solved a rat problem. Eight years later, that work is still holding -- the house has remained 100% rodent-free ever since. That alone says a lot. Fast-forward to 2025: I had finished building a new home in 2024, and after a year my tenants started hearing rodents in a wall. I was worried that they would destroy the new home. I hired Haderle again because they are true experts in rodent exclusion, and once again they delivered. Even the initial consultation was well worth the money -- extremely informative and professional. Honestly, a motivated DIY person could have done much of the work themselves based on everything they explained. But I chose to have them handle the exclusion, and they sealed the new home thoroughly and professionally for a fair price. They were willing to set all the traps for me, but I preferred to do that part myself to save some money. They still gave me tons of expert advice and even handed me a couple of better-quality traps than the ones I had. I caught two mice/juvenile rats right away, then another five after the home was sealed -- and since then, completely rodent-free again. They also treated/ sprayed the perimeter of the home for ants, gave a solid warranty, and the pricing/billing was transparent and fair. Im so lucky to pick the right guy for this job, I call him Mr Willard as a nickname, we've had noises for couple months under house and trying to go to walls but our efforts didn't work. Within a day after he came the noises stopped and he got rid of some "big ones" He's came back and did another round to make sure. Also he put up a screen in outside that was broken and providing an open route. As a side note he noticed my erosion problem in the area , which we never would've seen. We had an infestation of bats in the eaves of our mobile home in Montevalle. Jon did a great job first inspecting and identifying the roost location and ingress/egress routes, then sealing them with either painted flashing or wire mesh. The work looks very clean and professional, not slip-shod. One photo shows the screws securing the wire mesh and the other shows one of two rain downspouts that were left for a week at egress points so the bats in the roost could exit (which they did) but not reenter. read more

Jon arrived, conducted an inspection, charged me $175, said he would send a detailed proposal, and made an appointment to return and start setting up traps and sealing off entries into my home. THAT IS THE LAST I'VE HEARD FROM HIM! No proposal sent, he did not show for the second appointment, and has not returned my call. I should have read the Yelp reviews prior to contacting him. He seems to have an extensive history of poor Yelp reviews, describing similar no-show behaviors. At this point, I have no faith in him and should he contact me I will not utilize his services and just suck up the loss of $175. Use this service at your own risk!! Jon came out and inspected our entire house that we recently remodeled. He found and showed me many areas where rodents could get in. Jon proposed various exclusion remedies that he would perform and a quick timeframe to get them done by. A week later, everything was completely sealed up. Examples of what he did for us: 1. Replaced soffit vent 2. Removed oversized vent and sealed it up with a metal mesh screen 3. Installed metal mesh screen under three bay windows that were exposed 4. Closed multiple holes exterior holes around the house with metal flashing 5. Closed off holes under the roof eaves 6. Repaired gaps in walls near concrete steps with additional mortar 7. Fixed foundation gaps 8. Recommended crawl space door sealing with appropriate latches Guaranteed his work for 6 months for rodents, 3 years for varmints, 2 years for birds/bats/other animals. Also I mentioned to my realtor that we had hired Jon and he said "Oh he's great, we use him all the time at Karon properties.". I highly recommend checking with Haderle Pest control if you have issues with rodents. I have a vacation rental and got a call from a guest at 8pm on a Friday evening that they saw a mouse in the kitchen. I called our regular pest control company early on Saturday morning and they said they couldn't have someone cone out for at least a week. So I called several other places and most of them were closed. I called Haderle and got a voicemail, so I just hung up and didn't leave a message. 5 minutes later, John called my cell phone saying he was sorry he missed the call. After explaining to John the situation, we were able to coordinate a time for him to go to the house without disturbing the guests. He was there by 11:30 that morning - on a Saturday! He placed some kid friendly traps in the house and in the crawl space. While he was there, he identified a couple areas that the mice may be getting in and sealed them up. He let both me and the guests know that we could call him if we found mice in the traps, which we did! We successfully caught three mice in the next few days. After that the traps remained clean and I'm confident he took care of the problem. If not, I feel confident that John will respond quickly if I ever need him again.
