Still closed at 12:30pm on 2/15/24.

Used to be a must-stop for us every time we came to town. Hasn't been opened the past 3 times we've come. Hours posted online stated closed Tues & Wed, but open every other day at noon. Went at noon on Thursday - Building was open for the Taqueria restaurant next door, but Elephant Ears still closed. Had a QR code with online ordering available saying could pick up at 12:30pm same day. Thought for sure they'd be open by then, so we waited. Never opened. Left town around 2pm Thursday and still wasn't open. Very disappointed and let down as this has been the case for the past 3 times we've been in Seaside. Wish they were open so I could review the food, but sadly haven't gotten my elephant ear fix in over 5 years...

I was so excited to see the sign at "we're all ears"indicating what was sold at this adorable historic building in Seaside! The last time I strolled down Broadway there it was after dark. Anyway I had not tasted an elephant ear in like...a decade, and had a couple fellow tourists with me to share it with. So yes! Elephant Ear! I ordered the lemon & powdered sugar with strawberries for toppings. After some fun conversation, dessert was ready on a plate to go. After first bite the flavor was definitely there, but unfortunately the pastry was not what you want when you order an elephant ear. Instead it was just like the breading on fish when you order fish & chips at a restaurant and kinda greasy and crunchy like a fried taco salad shell... not an elephant ear! So sad, oh well. I hope you guys figure it out!

    Overly buttered elephant ear

The servers were nice and all seemed to be working hard. There was a big line yesterday. Lots of things on the menu were unavailable. Like I tried to order the jumbo and they couldn't so I had to order two smaller sizes which added a few dollars onto the order for the same amount of food. Unfortunately, mine was so slathered in butter the middle was unbeatable. It is hard to tell in the pic but there was a pool of butter in some parts that I tried sopping up with paper towels but there was waaay too much. And due to the line and the 20+ min wait did not try to go back. I remember them being really good. It's a shame. Hopefully this was just a result of them being overwhelmed by orders

Excellent elephant ears. We ordered a two different flavors and both were delicious. Sean was working and super friendly. Appreciate the good service.

    Snowflake + Dutch baby
    Sophia H.

Ear wax (combo of two toppings) with the snowflake and the Dutch baby toppings was good. I liked the snowflake better (I'm a sucker for powdered sugar), and while the Dutch baby was tasty, it had too much syrup in the middle, so it became rather too sweet (and a bit too bold in lemon flavor) in the end. Very friendly service.

Update in regards to the owners reply to my review. You're thinking of the wrong customer, because I was not in there last weekend. My pictures and experience were from my visit on 2/5/23. I only drove by last weekend and saw you were closed when your online ordering system said you were open. I thought about ordering online but then you were closed, so not sure how that would've turned out. You clearly didn't understand my review and are quick to make me the bad guy. Our elephant ear falling on the ground, due to the wind, happened literally right as we opened the door to leave, it was obviously not eaten. And we only asked for a new plate after this happened, not an elephant ear. We were not offered a replacement whatsoever. In fact, we didn't even stay to have a discussion on the incident. Very disappointed in your response to my review, I also don't take kindly to being called a bully when no such thing happened. Your business practices are very unprofessional if this is how you chose to respond to negativity.

    SWEET HEAVENLY GOODNESS!!

OMG! It's so freakin good...lemon curd butter powder sugar & raspberry bavarian cream, to die for...so so very good! Wow! Amazing! Definitely iconic experience!!

3.5/5 Lots of different kinds of elephant ears! All kinds of toppings and fun ways to mix and match. A little bit of a line but it's something fun to eat while your walk. Could've been thicker, it's a little thin for me with crunch. I like more doughy

Sean Davies (the owner and operator of Were All Ears) has the best staff and even better Elephant Ears. This place has always been a KEY STOP when I'm in Seaside, OR. The elephant ear selection is so diverse, you can order whatever syrups, sugary toppings, or fruit with your ears! I truly believe There is no better elephant ear in the world. I'm so happy this place is still open after 20+ years. I hope to bring my future kids here one day and show them the amazing side of elephant ears at the beach. Sean, thank you for always taking great care of my friends and family! You are the man.

This is a fun little elephant ear stand in Seaside. You can get various toppings on your ear or just plain cinnamon and sugar. They are tasty and inexpensive, so why not?!

Here's the jumbos!! Look at that grin may I add.

4.5 stars... well, let's call it four and a half with a raised eyebrow…read more Time's Theater and Public House has been part of my life since I was three years old. Three. I couldn't tie my shoes, but I could sit in that theater and stare at that big glowing screen like it was the second coming of Hollywood. From childhood all the way to 18, that place wasn't just a theater it was a landmark. It's iconic. It's got bones. It's got stories in the walls. I remember walking in one time and the screen was down, sports blasting on that big canvas like God intended. That's how you use a theater, folks. You don't buy a cowboy hat to hang it on the wall you wear it. Same principle. Now listen, they've fixed up the bathrooms . Nobody wants to change "historic" restrooms. Some things should stay nostalgic. Some things should not. The food? On point. Service? Solid. Decor? Still has that old-school charm that makes you feel like you're part of something bigger than just lunch and a beer. But here's where I tilt my glass and squint a little. Last few times we've gone in, that big beautiful screen is nowhere to be seen. Instead, we're staring at giant stainless steel beer kegs stretched across the back like industrial art. Not everybody came to admire a 10-foot aluminum torpedo. Drop the screen, man. Let it shine. It's a theater. If I wanted to stare at storage containers, I'd tour a shipping yard. And here's the kicker we walked in at lunch, only a couple folks inside. By the time we left? Elbow to elbow. Packed out. The business is hopping. Which tells me you're doing a lot right. I just think when you've got that kind of space and that kind of history, you let the screen fly. Give the people the ambiance. Don't buzzkill the magic with beer tanks. I love the place. I'll keep coming back. But pull that screen down and let it do what it was born to do. That's worth half a star right there.

I am into lagers and they had more than 1! Yay! I usually am only finding one at different places. I had a sampler tray and got all of the lagers. Crab cakes were expensive and underwhelming. Ceviche was literally nothing but cheap bay shrimp. I ordered the halibut tacos for my main with no mango salsa because of an allergy. It came with mango salsa and the wrong kind of tortilla. Before I could say anything waitress bolted away from the table. I think she knew it was wrong. We had to flag down another waiter after looking for ours for ten minutes, rest of the party had almost finished their food by that point. Two other people had incorrect orders as well but chose to deal with it as it wasn't allergies. Finally got correct order and I wish I would have just sent it back with no replacement. Halibut was almost non existent, it was more of a cabbage taco. The rice was gross and tasted old. The beans were bland. When our waitress finally did come back she said nothing about my incorrect meal. She actually became rude and cold, wouldn't even look at us. I had just received correct meal and two others ordered more drinks since we would be staying longer. Took over 20 minutes to get more drinks and she had become so cold that we were all convinced she might have spit in them. New drinks were left untouched and I left hungry.
