I heard Custard King and I thought that sounded like a pretty cool name so I had to stop here and check it out. I tried their Philly Cheesesteak with sauce and fries. It took about 10 minutes to come out but it was really good. It had a good amount of bell peppers and a nice zesty sauce. It was a little heavy on the salt but otherwise it was a great sandwich. My wife had a small vanilla custard cone dipped in butterscotch. It was way too sweet for me but she liked it a lot. There is some patio seating but it was full. This place is REALLY good! The custard is creamy and delicious. I can see why it has been around for so long. We have been coming here every day of our trip. They have regular cones, waffle cones, or waffle cone bowls. The shakes are on another level. They have a ton of toppings but my favorite is the homemade lemon curd. It is fantastic!
