First of all the staff is super sweet, and you can sample as many flavors as you like. I got a JUNIOR scoop (the smallest scoop for $3) and it was still massive. The Maui waui was the sherbet with guava and some other fruit. It was great - not overly tart or sweet, just right. They nailed this one. read more

Suzy's serves tillamook & umqua ice creams so you really can't go wrong with those! They also carry some deep cuts- random flavors you wouldn't expect which were fun to sample. They let you try as many as you like before deciding as well. I'm docking one star on my review because I would really love to see them incorporate a system to make fresh waffle cones the store itself is quaint and colorful with an atrium seating area which I enjoyed to keep me out of the cold ocean breeze. read more

Super cute shop serving up Tillamook & Umpqua ice cream along with milkshakes, italian sodas, & other drinks. The woman was super nice & let us know we could sample whatever we wanted. I sampled the brownie batter & was sold. Got a single scoop of that in a cup & the scoop was huge! My boyfriend got the huckleberry cheesecake in a milkshake, which was super yummy as well. It comes with whip cream on top as well if you choose. Although a rainy day, it's never too cold for ice cream. Definitely a must stop for dessert. read more

We went into this ice cream shop looking for coffee ice cream and Oregon cherry flavor. We didn't see any of the 2 on display. I asked Micah if they had the cherry flavored ones and instead of just easily saying no since there was a line forming behind us, he checked in the back and served me a big scoop! Lovely little ice cream shop. They accommodated our large party and there was plenty of seating outside since it's one shop of a small plaza of shops. There were also a couple of tables inside. The ice cream sandwich was HUGE and offered at a great price! Within our group, we got a mix of scoops in cups, cones, and sandwiches. You can't go wrong with a scoop from Suzy's! I tried the marionberry pie which was delicious! Service was fast and great! They provide samples if you're having a difficult time making a selection. The pricing is affordable- it was less than 4$ for a scoop in a cup. They had a few chairs inside as an option for seating or there are benches outside on the sidewalk you can eat at. read more

We were greeted by a friendly logo and even a friendlier staff! My girlfriend is gluten free and was ecstatic to learn that they offer TWO types of gluten free cones. The staff were very helpful with ensuring a safe experience, including specifying GF ice creams, using a clean workspace and dedicated utensils (ie scooper), and showing us the syrup ingredients for our coffees. Our server was so gracious when my partner was trying out samples. 2 scoops for $4 is beyond reasonable. They also had packets of lactase for customers by the cash register. Their coffee almond fudge and their tillamook mudslide was such a great combination. Not a lot of seating inside but you can snag a seat outside. read more

We were looking for an ice cream spot and ended up here by chance. Thank the lord above we ended up here because it blew my doors off! Best Ice cream I've ever had, no question! The Lemon Bar Ice cream is a game changer....They should be carton-ing this stuff and selling it everywhere! I've never had such a unique and amazing ice cream. My GF got her own ice flavor(IDR what), and kept asking for mine! It was Amazing. I want to go back to cannon solely for this! Suzy Scoops is a very cute and tiny ice cream shop in the heart of Cannon Beach. They are super friendly and patient there with top notch service. They have an array of flavors that you don't find in your ice cream shops at home. I ended up with the huckleberry ice cream and it was delicious. You could tell it had that just made taste and very creamy. They scoop huge serving sizes so 1 scoop is more than enough for your average ice cream eater. If you are to get more than 1 scoop, make sure you are hungry cause they are really huge portions. There are often lines out the door in the evening but not long lines in my experience. For those wondering though, the line moves fairly quick speed. Plus it is very covid safe, only one family in the shop at a time. read more

I may think this is the best ice cream shop Cannon Beach has to offer. Lines out the door into the evening, with hours that accommodate dessert right after dinner time. They're still COVID cautious so only one party/household was allowed into the small shop at a time. Service was really nice and didn't mind allowing samples. Their Maui Wauii sherbet certainly packed the POG (passion orange guava) tart punch. Their Oregon cherry (my safe order) came as expected, but their hazelnut salted caramel was impressive with the flavor. Stopped in for a cone a couple of days ago after walking around town and checking out the other shops. Suzy's had the best prices, a good assortment of flavors, and a fun setting with lots of outdoor seating. I had one scoop in a dish of their Tillamook cream and enjoyed every spoonful. This a cute little place and the owner is not Suzy but worked with her for 4 years before buying it from her. They have a great selection and the owner is super sweet and on her game. She was alone and you didn't have to wait. She just kept moving. She smiled, was polite and professional and knew her s***. I highly recommend. read more

Came in this morning for coffee. By far the best coffee in town. New shop looks amazing. Didn't have breakfast but greatselection of bagels and pastries. While I was there, someone ordered a breakfast sandwich. Looked and smelled amazing. I will be back for one of those and another cup of coffee very soon. read more

Marionberry Pie and Mountain Huckleberry. Both from Tillamook, which around here is less a brand and more a benevolent dairy cult. These berries are like edible postcards from the Pacific Northwest. One bite and you're knee-deep in a foggy forest thinking you hear Bigfoot weeping quietly from joy. Of course the prices are high. You're in a town where the beach views are free and everything else makes up for it. The real gamble is who hands you your scoop. Some of us got generous lumps the size of a toddler's fist while others looked like they'd been served a sample. Such is life in a democracy. The lines wound throughout the store, but it moved along at a respectable clip. People were smiling. Sugar does that. All in all, this is the kind of place that doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is. A temple to nostalgia. A sanctuary for the sweet-toothed and sunburnt. Four stars. One star held in reserve for the day someone figures out how to standardize scoop sizes.

We walked in and were met with a display of various fudge, saltwater taffy galor but we were there for some ice cream. Which was located at the back of the store. Displayed in all its yumminess was various flavors of Tillamook ice cream. Granddaughter chose birthday cake. I had jamoca almond fudge and my son had a cherry jubilee. We found seating outside in a courtyard where we enjoyed our ice cream before our big drive home.

He got me a mango matcha lemonade (special) and it was really good but didn't taste like matcha at all (it was super green though). The highlight of our experience has to be the little chocolate treats. He got a variety, salted caramel, dark chocolate peanut butter cup and a few white chocolate treats which were beautiful and delicious. Service was just ok but we stopped in right before closing on a busy Sunday afternoon. I don't think we ordered the best so I would definitely give this place another try, maybe for their specialty milkshake or hot chocolate. And when I do, I'll update my review accordingly.

I appreciate having an occasional glass of wine, and expect that it's difficult to find a quality wine selection in a small town that probably depends very heavily upon the tourist trade. Frankly, most towns known for heavy tourist traffic usually don't do well when it comes to what they stock in wines -- they usually aren't that impressive. I was truly shocked to see an excellent selection of highly-rated wines, especially for domestic Cabernet Sauvignon. If you enjoy having an excellent wine, this is the place to find it.

A common flaw, brisket is a very tough cut of meat which takes a lot of time, attention and yes, fat, to prepare properly. I had the Grilled Cheese with smoked duck breast added. It was almost great, props for ooey-gooeyness and points for the tender smoky meat. However the aioli/jam spread was a bit off-putting to me. Still, a very good sandwich.

But every trip we either walk or drive by this place and I always think, one day I'll give it a try. And yay for me, that day finally came. After our beach walk, my husband stopped in to get us beverages and a few chocolate treats. He got a frozen hot chocolate that just tasted okay. It wasn't very chocolately, or like it tasted like fake chocolate, which was disappointing. He got me a mango matcha lemonade (special) and it was really good but didn't taste like matcha at all (it was super green though). The highlight of our experience has to be the little chocolate treats. He got a variety, salted caramel, dark chocolate peanut butter cup and a few white chocolate treats which were beautiful and delicious. Service was just ok but we stopped in right before closing on a busy Sunday afternoon. I don't think we ordered the best so I would definitely give this place another try, maybe for their specialty milkshake or hot chocolate. And when I do, I'll update my review accordingly.
