Everyone in the "Werba Realty" management is special, professional, and willing to take their time to listen and provide you with feedback, whether related to their apartment listings, or general/over all inquiries you may have. Our Real-Estate Representative is always Matt, and has been so for almost 3 years now. There is a long story to explain, but the most difficult and appreciative moment we have from Matt was when he humanly accepted to help us find an apartment when we were looking to re-locate from Texas to the New York State, specifically ridgewood, Queens. Every other Real-Estate Agent Companies would refuse to take on our case as soon as we would mention we were relocating from another state, Matt though offered to help, suggested options, called us several times (even called us when we were on the way to NY, he asked how the trip was going? That was something even friends/family wouldn't even bother to do now-days, i was stunned ). After three years , we moved again within the neighborhood this time, Matt just helped us find this new place, which is an amazing one, Huge , beautiful and perfect location as we asked for. I will keep on going on and on typing in about Matt, to make the story short, work with Werba-Realty, whether with Matt (whom is now a part of our Family), but every one else in the team is also well oriented and helpful at Werba-Realty. Tip: When you ask for certain apartment criteria, make sure you provide Details to Matt/Werba Realty, what your are looking for, size, budget, location, move in date ,even if you have pets/kids, don't hide any info, provide it to them in the begining , they will find you a place who accepts pets and kids (which by the way most other agents aren't willing to help if you have kids and pets, as we are well aware of ), and allow a reasonable amount of time to hear back from them, they wont forget, and the one other thing about their main character, is that they will follow up with you , period ! read more

I was the first one to review Werba Reality all the way back in 2012. Eight years ago. That's a long time in internet years. Time for an update, I suppose. Eight years ago, before Ridgewood was tapped as some sort of "up and coming area" by the vultures known as real estate gentrification, it was a quiet, down to earth neighborhood. It is still in some parts. Okay, long story short. Me and the long term boyfriend needed to move asap. Our former landlord saw $$$ in his eyes, basically lied to us...yeah. You get the idea. Welcome to NYC. We hit up a few real estate agents, but once again Werba Reality came through. I cannot stress this enough. Werba Reality and particularly Matt Duraliev will not only help you find an apartment to fit your needs, but I do believe that Matt is most likely the most honest realtor in all of the five boroughs. As long as you, the tenant, have your act together, i.e., paperwork, proof of income, etc., then Matt will go to bat for you. He's definitely on the side of the tenants. Matt is not some swarmy, slick, fast talking salesperson. He's a kind, hard working neighborhood guy who is also extremely professional. The landlords respect him as well. It comes down to this. Just be honest with Matt, and he'll find the perfect apartment to suit your needs. You have pets? He'll find a pet friendly space. New to the area? Matt will welcome you. Grew up in NYC? Matt understands. In closing, Werba came through for us, and he'll certainly come through for you. Ridgewood might have changed a lot within the past eight years, but Matt and Werba's will never disappoint. Thank you Matt. read more

Werba Realty is the place to get an apt! Magdalena Banasiak , was my agent. She was an angel. She fought for me despite my credit and got me the apt. Of my dreams. She was the only one in the neighborhood ( I went to multiple realtors-to no avail) Who would give me a chance. She was gracious and kind and above all, professional and understanding of my situation. I hope she see's this review because all I want to is buy the office and her flowers and donuts!!( everyone loves donuts!!) She was even thoughtful enough to send me a card welcoming me to my new place. Magdalena is the person you should ask for if you want things to get done. She will take care of you and get you a great space to live in. Everyone in werba realty was very helpful and friendly. But Magdalena shines. She is a great soul and I thank god that I crossed paths with her and werba realty. Ask for her by name and get the best service ever! Magdalena Banasiak!! Thank you Magdalena and Werba realty for my nicest apt ever and for giving me a chance. Magdalena is truly a angel. I can't say anything more, other than that she is amazing at her job. courteous, super friendly and obviously has a flame in heart to get you the space you want. Finally, someone who actually is good at and loves their job! Thank you Magdalena Banasiak! You are the absolute best!!! I just wish I could repay the favor that she has given me!!! read more

I just leased an apartment from a Real Estate agent named Matt and I had one of the most thoughtful and caring experiences I have ever had while working with anyone. Matt was hosting an open house apartment to a large group but because of Covid, there was a long line. He started showing this place at about 7:30 and even though the end time to see it was 9, he stayed much later, until about 10:30 to make sure everyone who was there waiting was able to see the apartment. Every time I spoke to Matt, he was extremely clear on his directions, incredibly respectful and very flexible. If I called or left a message, he would always respond within the hour. This hard working guy would come into work on the weekend, even though he was off that day, just for me. He really went above and beyond. He works fast and the faster you will work with him, the faster he will work with you. I 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a new home. I am so thankful to have had Matt!!! Matt really sets the bar high for other Real Estate Agents and as a 30 year veteran in the Real Estate agency, it shows. If you want a great experience while looking, Matt is your guy!!! read more

I don't typically write reviews, however, in this instance, I feel compelled to not only give the maximum allowable star rating but openly share my story. What culminated in the most exceptional customer service experience I have ever had, began with a 6 month search for an apartment. A chance conversation with a coworker about my desire to find suitable accommodation resulted in an introduction to Matt. From the initial exchange between us over the phone, to our first face to face encounter, Matt proved to be the perfect combination of accommodating and professional. Having outlined my situation and preference in apartment style, Matt arranged a meeting at his office and even went as far as moving around his schedule to facilitate me on the weekend. Needless to say, within 2 weeks of that chance conversation with my colleague and meeting Matt, I had keys in hand to my new apartment and was all set to move in. Based on the smooth efficiency and top class customer service extended to me, I would easily have given Matt and the team at Werba Realty 10 stars if I could. Rupert Savage. read more

I had a great experience back in February with Magda as my broker. She is funny, efficient and personable. Thanks to her my roommate and I found an affordable 2 bedroom apartment in Ridgewood. It's one of the loveliest spaces I've lived in: plenty of light, a sunroom, a spacious kitchen, great neighbors and a short walk to the train. My apartment is a Werba managed property so I deal with them (and not a landlord) when it comes to paying the rent or calling about repairs. They have always been professional, reliable and quick to respond. The only peculiarity of Werba managed apartments (at least the ones I was shown) is that they don't come with refrigerators --- you are left to purchase your own. Buying a fridge is a bit of a hassle and an added expense, but overall it is a small concession to make for such a lovely apartment. One last thing to mention: they can work with you if you have a pet, which is a great relief when so many listings around the city excluded our furry friends. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Matt recently, and I can't recommend him highly enough. His communication throughout the entire process was impeccable; he was always prompt, clear, and responsive to any questions or concerns I had. Moreover, Matt demonstrated genuine inclusivity and sensitivity to my needs as an LGBTQ individual, creating a safe and welcoming environment throughout the home-buying journey. His dedication and perseverance to find me the perfect home were truly remarkable. Despite the challenges of the market, Matt remained committed to finding properties that matched my criteria and went above and beyond to ensure I found the best place for me. I'm incredibly grateful for his expertise, support, and genuine care throughout the entire experience. I had the pleasure of working with the team members of Werba Realty & Werba Property Management, Sonia, Matt, Ewelina & the whole Property Management Team; thank you for everything, your time and consideration is greatly appreciated. From start to finish they were very responsive, kind, and constant professionals. During viewing of apartment they made everything incredibly easy and safe they took precautions and were very serious about wearing masks, maintaining social distancing procedures during opening. They were very personable and understanding made the whole process simple. They always answered and replied to emails promptly. I've never had the pleasure of working with such a great team of Realtors and Property Management. This is my second time working with Matt and Sonia, and once again they exceeded every expectation. They truly treat their clients like family and go above and beyond every step of the way. I honestly don't think I would have been able to secure my new place without their dedication and hard work. They are incredibly diligent, responsive, accommodating, and professional, while also being genuinely kind and pleasant to work with. They were always available to answer my questions, kept me informed throughout the entire process, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel seamless. If you're looking to rent, buy, or sell a property, I highly recommend working with Matt and Sonia. You'll be in excellent hands from start to finish. Thank you both again for everything--I truly appreciate all your help! :) read more

If I could add another star to the rating, I would. Sonia Juran Kulesza at Werba Realty brokered the sale of my mother's one-family house in Glendale, Queens. She was a fantastic partner through and through and ably advised us on the various nuances in selling the house, which had the added burden of being impacted by the Covid Pandemic. Sonia ably researched our property value, conducted virtual open houses during that time, and followed up with live walkthroughs once the real estate quarantine restrictions were lifted. In short, she is a seasoned real estate pro with in-depth knowledge of the market in NYC, and took excellent care of us from the start of the listing to our closing on September 24th. I highly recommend Sonia and Werba for your real estate needs. She will take good care of you! read more

We bought our first home through Werba, and I highly recommend them if you are looking for a house in Queens. The search was pretty quick - we were in contract a month after we contacted Werba. They helped guide us through the whole process very carefully and even though they had their own recommended vendors, were great working with our own mortgage people when we brought them in. We wound up getting a great house in Glendale that was barely on the market a day when we saw it first, needed only very minor work, and was right in our price range. Compared to my friends' horror stories, the whole process was pretty smooth and about as low stress as it could be. We've been living here 2 months now and loving it! Maria and Gabi are the best! Try Werba, they will take care of you. read more

Right after I stepped in the Werba Realty office I knew I was in good hands. Matt is the man you should be looking for. He went above and beyond in every aspect to help me reach my dream apartment. He is simply on the top of his thing. Knowing his search area very well, I had only one month to find my new place but I still got the exact offer that matched my expected budget. Not only complete professionalism and never ending office hours, including prompt service and response but also relationship with me, the client, was what made me calm from the beginning and that's what according to me, the customer, is a heavily important aspect, though so rare. Anyone looking for spectacular Realtor's service, the address is 66-45 Fresh Pond Road, Ridgewood. Thanks Matt and the team!! read more

Working with Sonia was the most pleasant experience I have ever had with a realtor. She was patient and considerate of my schedule, making herself available after work hours to show me the same apartment multiple times (needed to make sure I was making the right choice). I met her during an open house for an apartment I thought will meet my needs. After light chat she suggested I take a look at a different listing she thought would be a better fit for me. I took her advice and met her at what is currently my new apartment. Sonia's intuition was spot on!! She found me the perfect apartment, below my budget, in an awesome location. If you need to move fast, call her! Sonia, thank you so much for making this so easy for me. You were truly and angel. read more

Just rented an apartment via Werba Realty and I can highly recommend our realtor, Angelica Rosado. She is courteous, professional and gets the job done. She listened to what we were looking for in terms of money, space and location and showed us a variety of options to choose from in a short period of time. We are very pleased with how it worked out. I would also like to mention the property account manager, Izabella Broda, who took the time to carefully and thoroughly explain the terms of the lease at our signing rather than just handing us a multi-page document with no additional information. We appreciate the care and professionalism with which she and Angelica handled this transaction. Thank you both! read more

We had a positive experience renting an apartment with Werba Realty and would recommend our agent, Rosemarie Jannazzo, to anyone looking in Ridgewood / Middle Village. Rosemarie, a life-long resident herself, knows the neighborhood very well and took the time to show me around and tell me all about the area, the pros and the cons. She did not mind coming out to the same location twice, after my husband couldn't make it the first time around -- we ended up renting that place and it is bigger and nicer than what we expected for the price! All in all, Rosemarie is a very knowledgeable, courteous and personable real estate professional and we are grateful for her help. read more

WOW. What a pleasure it was dealing with Matt from Werba Realty and really the entire team there. I went to an open house Matt was having and from beginning to end I felt at ease. Matt walked me through the process with care and professionalism. He introduced me to the property management and really I felt like I had an ally with me. I could not stress enough how much I recommend Matt and Werba Realty. As a team, a very down to earth, professional and honest group. When it comes to finding the right apartment one of the best feelings is knowing you are doing business with good people and I was lucky to have found this match. Thank you!! read more

This was recommended to me by a friend who was very happy with an apartment they found him a few years ago. I must say, they took the hassle out of finding me a place to move. I called and talked with Maria Strbik, went to the office and within an hour I was standing in the exact apartment I was looking for. They made the approval interview quick and easy and I was approved and signed the lease 2 days later. They are very professional and bend over backwards to get you what you need. It was my best experience in dealing with realtors and would recommend them to anyone who needs a place to live. Thank you, Werba Realty and Maria. read more

I must say this has been the most pleasant experience my husband and I have ever had with a realty. I emailed the realty regarding a listing and got a response within a day. The agent Magdalena was very nice and very professional. She showed us the property and immediately we fell in love and applied. Unfortunately someone one else beat us to it but Magdalena immediately had another property to show us which actually turned out to be awesome. The application process was very smooth and we had a wonderful experience thanks to an awesome agent Magdalena and a very professional realty. We will definitely recommend. read more
