Tip: When you ask for certain apartment criteria, make sure you provide Details to Matt/Werba Realty, what your are looking for, size, budget, location, move in date ,even if you have pets/kids, don't hide any info, provide it to them in the begining , they will find you a place who accepts pets and kids (which by the way most other agents aren't willing to help if you have kids and pets, as we are well aware of ), and allow a reasonable amount of time to hear back from them, they wont forget, and the one other thing about their main character, is that they will follow up with you , period ! read more

I was the first one to review Werba Reality all the way back in 2012. Eight years ago. That's a long time in internet years. Time for an update, I suppose. Eight years ago, before Ridgewood was tapped as some sort of "up and coming area" by the vultures known as real estate gentrification, it was a quiet, down to earth neighborhood. It is still in some parts. Okay, long story short. Me and the long term boyfriend needed to move asap. Our former landlord saw $$$ in his eyes, basically lied to us...yeah. You get the idea. Welcome to NYC. We hit up a few real estate agents, but once again Werba Reality came through. I cannot stress this enough. Werba Reality and particularly Matt Duraliev will not only help you find an apartment to fit your needs, but I do believe that Matt is most likely the most honest realtor in all of the five boroughs. As long as you, the tenant, have your act together, i.e., paperwork, proof of income, etc., then Matt will go to bat for you. He's definitely on the side of the tenants. She was the only one in the neighborhood ( I went to multiple realtors-to no avail) Who would give me a chance. I just leased an apartment from a Real Estate agent named Matt and I had one of the most thoughtful and caring experiences I have ever had while working with anyone. Matt was hosting an open house apartment to a large group but because of Covid, there was a long line. He started showing this place at about 7:30 and even though the end time to see it was 9, he stayed much later, until about 10:30 to make sure everyone who was there waiting was able to see the apartment. Every time I spoke to Matt, he was extremely clear on his directions, incredibly respectful and very flexible. If I called or left a message, he would always respond within the hour. This hard working guy would come into work on the weekend, even though he was off that day, just for me. He really went above and beyond. A chance conversation with a coworker about my desire to find suitable accommodation resulted in an introduction to Matt. I had a great experience back in February with Magda as my broker. She is funny, efficient and personable. Thanks to her my roommate and I found an affordable 2 bedroom apartment in Ridgewood. It's one of the loveliest spaces I've lived in: plenty of light, a sunroom, a spacious kitchen, great neighbors and a short walk to the train. My apartment is a Werba managed property so I deal with them (and not a landlord) when it comes to paying the rent or calling about repairs. They have always been professional, reliable and quick to respond. The only peculiarity of Werba managed apartments (at least the ones I was shown) is that they don't come with refrigerators --- you are left to purchase your own. Buying a fridge is a bit of a hassle and an added expense, but overall it is a small concession to make for such a lovely apartment. One last thing to mention: they can work with you if you have a pet, which is a great relief when so many listings around the city excluded our furry friends. read more

We bought our first home through Werba, and I highly recommend them if you are looking for a house in Queens. The search was pretty quick - we were in contract a month after we contacted Werba.
