When my landlord hit me with the harsh reality that she's selling her house I knew it would be a task to find the perfect place to call home. I searched high and low for apartments all over the borough of Queens. Disappointment after disappointment met me at the front door. Some realtors were sleazy and some were flat out unprofessional and rude. After what felt like a century I had given up on finding a place in the allotted time. I had less than three weeks and I made it my mission to find something in the area I wanted. Every single realtor I came in contact with couldn't produce the results I wanted. We were looking for a two-bedroom apartment in Forest Hills, and were beyond frustrated with our search (we saw so many places!) until we met Gregory, who showed us a wonderful two-bedroom apartment in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Queens that checked all our boxes. Gregory was honest and upfront: even handed us a form to disclose that he was one of those rare *tenant* brokers, and didn't try to hide the fact that the apartment was rent-stabilized, like some brokers and landlords do. But really what made me appreciate Realty Depot was the fact that they were willing to work with us while we were leaving for a two-week trip abroad about signing the lease and making required payments. Our application for an apartment was approved the day we were flying overseas--instead of paying by a cashier's check, we were able to put down a security deposit by Zelle to reserve the apartment. We likewise were able to pay the broker's fee and first month of rent by Zelle. Lease signing was later done electronically--there were a few hiccups with this since it was a new system Realty Depot was using, but it all worked out in the end. We love our new place. Update on my post because after my terrible experience with an unprofessional agent , who clearly wasn't happy when I let him know that I wasn't interested anymore because I was willing to work with his colleague instead who was the opposite of him In terms of professionalism and candor, took it completely to the next level.. However, I ended speaking to his boss, a broker who was extremely courteous and amazing and resolving the issue I had . He definitely listened and apologized on his behalf and extended himself to make it worth while to work with his company . Additionally he ensured that his agents behavior towards me was going to be managed . I just feel passionate about helping people and if that's not the job you are able to do, then perhaps you shouldn't be in a business like this. I was disabled and living in same apartment for almost 20 years so I was looking for a good reality I saw that reality depot had good reviews some one told me later on that the owner pays people to put up these reviews to make them look good they said they had a nice apartment in woodside 72-09/72-15 41st Ave woodside NY 11377 they charge me almost 3,000 dollars in reality fees my family helped me get new furniture for when I moved in the second week that I was in the apartment I realized that the apartment was infested with bedbugs roaches and all kinds of bugs and they were also dealing drugs when I called reality depot to complain the owner was laughing and told me he has bedbugs in his office and he feeds them and they leave him alone and for me to do the same so if you want to take a chance of bringing bedbugs bugs home with you visit reality depot because they told me they have bedbugs in their office and they feed them I lost almost 3,000 dollars in reality fees and had to move again and lost thousands of dollars in furniture and clothes that my family gave me I had to get new furniture and clothes for the next apartment I moved into if you do not want to go through the worst experience in your life visit reality depot I have documentation from the city that the building had a bad infestation and these are the apartments reality depot get there customers most of these reviews are made up to make them look good I have proff of everything that is in this review all the photos they put up are over 2 years old the only new one we're the ones I put up Of the documentation of them getting their customers apartments with infestations I really think this reality is into illegal activity's that's why the owner is always in Florida when he has business here that' what the judge told him when I took him to court so that is another risk you are taking by going to realty depot you might also get busted by law enforcement read more

First off, I'm sure Realty Depot has great Realtors. This rating isn't for the company, but for a specific realtor. I had contacted Suzanne Reznik for a viewing of 3 apartments two Sundays ago. I wanted to see the place she listed and then did some work for her to help me see 2 other places to save everyone time. I went in with my boyfriend to meet with her. She didn't greet us, her assistant or another realtor did. She then came back and told us to fill out a form- so we did. I didn't get a good vibe right from the start. After we completed our form, she analyzed and questioned our budget and why we wanted to be good with our money. I explained that we just want to rent a year, then buy the next year. She sighed then went quiet. Afterwards she asked me what area and what I was looking for like we never spoke before. I told her everything on our call on 7/6 and here we are meeting 7/9. I reminded her of the locations I specified. She then told us she had nothing to show us and that this was protocol that we came in and only signed the form first. I told her she never made that aware to me and I dealt with another realtor from Realty Depot who showed us on the spot the day I met him. Suzanne then said, "give me you email and I will make sure I find you a few places. When's the next day you're off?" I proceeded to give her my email and told her Monday, 7/17 would be great. I haven't heard any correspondence from her. From 7/9 till now. Suzanne Reznik has terrible customer service, terrible work ethics, and an uninviting demeanour. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone and if anyone is looking for places, stay away from her ads. Unfortunately, I've wasted almost 2 weeks of my time depending on someone who couldn't and wouldn't help us find a new place. I'm extremely disappointed and I hope no one goes through this horrible experience. read more
