Customer service: 3.5 Food: 3.0 (4.5 for the crispy fries) On a busy Sunday late afternoon after Christmas, so everyone was gassing up and finding food, but wife wanted chili so only one place comes to mind that's quick: Wendy's. Luckily I was able to find a parking spot after passing the gas pumps, then quickly run in. Walking in you see two kiosk machines to place your order, pretty simple for those who are willing to navigate the electronic menu, but if you stand in front of the counter a "real" person will take your order, LOL But the young men working the counter were friendly and polite to every customer! After placing my order, no receipt is given but the screen tells you your order number, so I took a picture of the screen. BTW receipt is printed in the back/kitchen. Now it was a waiting game to see whose order comes out but due to the volume of orders and people waiting, the wait time wasn't bad. I felt I hit the lottery when my number was called. So back in the car, our food was prepared correctly and hot. Sorry no pics of our food but it should have been a cup of chili, spicy chicken sandwich and medium fries no salt (& the fries were super crispy too). This Wendy's is in one of the nicest gas stations I've been inside. It felt new, clean, bright and smelled like freshly baked Cinnabons. The Wendy's was very fast and the ingredients were FRESH. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice all the workers were. Sweeping floors and wiping the tables. For this gas station it's called Pilot and it is connected to Wendy's. The bathrooms were clean, there were showers and coin operated laundry machines available too. Fresh fruit and fresh sandwiches and cold meats available as well. Love all the coffee options too. Decent prices. read more

I would absolutely recommend stopping here while on the i5. While I wish it didn't rely so heavily on touch screens, I suspect this helps a lot at busy times: the food tasted great, the sandwich bun was soft and quite puffy, the French fries were crispy and not too salty, and the chicken was tender and spicy too. read more

I was driving to SoCal late at night and needed a place to use the restroom. Luckily I saw this stop had a public restroom so I went to just use the bathroom. On my way out I passed by the Wendy's that's connected and it is 24/7! So I decided ima grab a bite to each before hitting the road again. The person at the front was nice and the service was quick. Today's 5 stars is directed toward Miss Amanda!! Thank you to this sweet young lady for being so kind, helpful, and hardworking!! Not only was she juggling between cashier but also jumping into action when her male coworker pushing out orders needed help. When she had some downtime, Amanda tidied up the seating area and wiped down each of the tables + organized all of the messily arranged chairs. At first, it was like any old Wendy's average restaurant, that was until I was waiting for my food and a European man with little English was trying to order some food that the staff impressed me with their patience and their International relations skills . The man was using Google to try to communicate as the staff was doing the same. The line was getting pretty long, but the staff were trying so hard to get this man's order right. I love seeing that! Solid place to get a quick bite on I-5 (Lost Hills) as it is about halfway between SF and LA metro areas. It's connected to the Pilot travel center, which is a family favorite rest stop due to its clean bathrooms. On our most recent visit, we got fries and chicken sandwiches - grilled, classic and spicy. Fries were good. My grilled sandwich was ok, my wife liked the classic one, the spicy one wasn't spicy enough for my mom. How could I forget to order a Frosty! For some reason, I love that signature light chocolate dairy dessert of theirs. Maybe because it reminds me of my childhood, and nowadays I hardly ever go to a Wendy's. Last month, though, our friends decided to stop by here for lunch with us on our way back from the coast. Lucky for me, but unlucky for my wifey because she is not a fast food fan for the most part. This particular Wendy's is located inside the large Pilot Travel Center in Lost Hills, CA. No dining in was allowed because of covid protocols. That's okay because we enjoyed eating together in the truck. Surprisingly, Wifey thought her salad was quite good. She finished it all! I ordered a Junior Baconator and Fries. The burger was satisfied my hunger and tasted pretty good. Fries were a letdown cause it did not taste fresh. Other than the fries, I have no complaints. I have never had a worse fast food burger. I was taken in by a recent flyer sent in the mail, showing a juicy looking burger. In the far distant past when I ate at Wendy's the burgers were freshly cooked and juicy. There aren't any Wendy stores near me, so I haven't eaten there in years I stopped at this location on the Interstate 5 Fwy going from Southern California to Northern CA. Admittedly, the food on this stretch of the road can be less thst optimal because they have a captive audience - youve gotta eat somewhere in that 200-300 miles. My Baconator double burger had lots of bacon, as promised. U fortunately it was awful. The 2 quarter-pound patties were cooked within an inch ot their lives. I'm not so sure they weren't precooked and then deep-fried. Hard to tell. They were absolutely dry. No juice whatsoever. The bacon was similarly cooked.... precooked and tough,not crispy. This was a $9+ sandwich. Ridiculous. I ended up eating the fries that brought my total to just under $13, and tossing the burger away. read more

I got the double burger and there was a lettuce shortage, so no lettuce. The burger itself was fine. It was a decent size and quite filling. The wife got a the southwest chicken salad so she shared some greens with me. The salad was a good portion and was not just iceberg lettuce. First time going to a Wendy's and it was actually pretty good. The chicken at this Wendy's was made pretty well, it was super moist. I got the new hot honey chicken sandwich and the chicken was so juicy when I squeezed it I could see the juice coming out which surprised me for a fast food place. They greeted me and told me to take my time looking at the menu.
