I was tired of fast food on our road trip and wanted something more real. We stopped here to check it out and everything about our experience was perfect. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted within 30 seconds even though the 3 servers on the floor were VERY busy, they got back with us within a minute, sat us, and immediately got a drink order. When they came back they asked if we were ready to order. We were in a hurry, so when the Server came back to quality check our food we ordered dessert to go and asked for the check so we could get back on the road as we were eager to get home. We were so impressed with our service and honestly, the delicious diner food, that we planned to stop here again on our way home from our yearly trip this year. We had a different server this year, but everything about the experience was identical. Wonderful, tasty, timely, kind... Thank you, Willow Ranch staff, we will certainly make you part of our plan every year! I also wanted to note that I am a career server and the details matter to me. It is so amazing when someone like myself can receive the kind of service that I am proud to give when I'm working. I also witnessed the front of house staff engaging in friendly banter with the kitchen staff and I just love that. I am also close with the team on our line and I think that makes a huge difference in the overall performance of the restaurant.

Supposed to have the works(per the lady working the register) asada, beans, onion cilantro, avocado, sour cream, cheese & lettuce (I omitted the rice) - $40 for 2 burritos sorry, ridiculously over priced. Got worse when I bit into the burrito and all it had was meat and beans - w/a touch of sour cream. Got to the middle of the burrito - still no avocado, onion, cilantro, cheese, lettuce in sight. This wasn't an error either because both burritos were ordered exactly the same way and both were made the same. The truck had one worker and one customer besides me, so there's no oversight. This has been a stop for me for over 10yrs for a quick bite while on the 5, as of today never again.

Perfect ratio of refried beans, rice and amazing salsa with onions for a nice crunch. Bonus surprise, I think there was jicama in there which elevated the texture experience. And their salsa is *chefs kiss* made with guacamole and has just enough kick. In conclusion, this is a legendary gem. You will not be disappointed. Lots of locals stop because the food is good and not crazy expensive. The only downside was that on a very warm summer day at noon-ish, there were a number of flies trying to find some shade too. IIRC, they prefer cash, and charge a bit more to process cards, so be aware of that. We understand why and had no problem with that policy. Overall, we'd gladly stop back and give them our business.
